Fake token in wallet

Of the eleven fake tokens that the OP mentioned in my wallet, I have the 6 types of tokens mentioned, I don't know where they came from even though I've never done an airdrop task if it's from an airdrop, then is this the work of scamers who always try to send tokens to for sale at fake prices?
Sometimes I like to laugh seeing the price of these tokens being hundreds of thousands of dollars on a trustwallet but in reality it can't be used for anything.
Damn always getting useless tokens.

Scammers send those tokens randomly to a large number of wallet address. You will receive those tokens if you have made ETH or BNB Smart Chain transaction from your wallet. Among those tokens I have received only two tokens. MNEB is one of it. Although I got it after participating in their airdrop. Minereum BSC shows the price of Minereum tokens which is based on erc-20 network. In the telegram group MNEB team was saying that user can use those token after buying the mining power from them. I have simply ignored it.

However, minereum team have their announcement thread in this forum. And they have also said that MNEB is belongs to their project. [ANN] Minereum - 🔥 🚀 Minereum Polygon AIRDROP IS LIVE! 🚀

Is there any way to remove these tokens from the wallet?

Better not to bother yourself on removing those because it would just be adding up anytime soon and also if you are trying to move those coins then it isnt really worth for the time,fees and effort.
If you do got stressed on having these then go for another or create some new wallet and dont engage with some swap exchangers because this is what i had observed that whenever you do
make transactions or get involved with these places you do really get these fake token but im not sure but this is what i had observed.

The unsolicited token sent to your address is called dust,  or spam token. This kind of token was popular during 2017 bull market. Some of those dust token that were sent to me was valuable and I was able to sell them on Etherdelta then.  If you want to get rid of these token,  you can send them to a burn address 0x000000000000000000

Yes, it is indeed a crime, because it can trap bounty hunters who are still beginners who are tempted by fake tokens that enter their wallets, they will be forced to spend money to get fake tokens and the result is only worthless tokens, the only one the only way is to ignore those fake tokens.

Fake tokens are just a nuisance and foul up everyone's wallets, so it's true as you say to ignore them without caring about them, because no one wants to give away expensive tokens for free without doing anything as they tell them to, so it's purely a trap intentionally made.

^When I was most active in bounty hunting before I always encounter the same like this get a free token from the giveaways but until now there is no value. And there are more, it requires me to send a small amount of ETH so that soon it will airdrop me a token but it will never arrive. There are too many fake tokens that scammers lurking us a hunter. If you are a newbie hunting airdrop, you must be careful because as of now, they are not worth it anymore, the exchange has high fees and everything has high fees.

I've heard that fake tokens in wallets are very dangerous and it's clearly targeting people who don't understand cyber crime. need education about this so as not to make many people become victims of this fake crime

Fake tokens are only dangerous for newbies in cryptocurrency, while for those who are very experienced in cryptocurrency it will not feel dangerous because they know which tokens they should ignore as trash in their wallets.

I think you won't end up swapping that coins because there's no liquidity for it. Just let them reside in your wallet. If you are confused or curious as you don't know how you get that token then you can do some research if that token is active.

It's no different during the hype of ERC20 tokens. Those unknown tokens will only be noticeable if there's a market price. If there's not, then it will just be ignored so don't worry about the scam.

I think everyone can get rid of this problem if they have idea about this kind of token. Everyone should have knowledge that most of the time “free” does not bring good. So greediness must be controlled as much as possible.

I have some of these tokens in my wallet and so are the hundreds of thousands of wallets I'm surprised that they are willing to spend gas fees for these huge numbers of wallets, they really invest on a gas fees and hoping that many will fall victims to their scheme, it's better to just ignore these so-called scam airdrops coins or if you are interested go and dig deep and hopefully you'll found out that these are scam coins.

I often get emails requesting to send ethereum to a wallet address for the reason of transaction fees, many even promise to give a big bonus of up to 10x the ethereum I send, I believe this is a scam so the best way is to ignore the email. other than that we must be vigilant to click the link in the email because this is usually a malicious program to steal our data.

I have those in my wallet too. However, I just simply ignore them and not wanting to exchange those scam tokens. These scammers are doing the crypto honeypot scam. You might wanna Google or Youtube that bro. Recently, my friends are also inquiring that same concern to me and I just told them not to exchange them forever because it's a trap hole when they attempt to exchange these scam coins for good.

Scam tokens are not new in the market, the majority of the scam tokens are ETH tokens, and they don't actually have a value since they are not listed in an exchange, and for some instance, they get listed but on a shady exchange. With knowledge, we will know what coins are shitcoins and what coins are legit, and we will not waste our time on a project that promises a lot but does not show they are working to achieve it.

They simply take the addresses of the wallets of the participants in one of the bounties through the spreadsheet and send them these fake coins or they take their email addresses and send them scams so we all have to be careful and these fake coins if you want to remove them from your wallet you can create a new wallet and send those coins to it they will take some fees and I think if you hold them and ignore them it would be better.
