I disagree with the argument that the post quality of the board has reduced. IMO the post quality is just as good as other local boards with high merit circulation. I visit other local boards and the posts that receive merits aren’t exactly quality according to the general board standard.

God bless you for speaking up. Our board is among the boards that is doing well but with less distribution of merit it you think the quality of post you see in the board is not enough maybe you as a merit source should try visiting other board I believe you will have a change of plans and you will stop holding your merit and do what it was sent to you for. igebotz initiated something nice to help thise close to ranking up and I expected our other merit source to join him to continue that project but you will never see them ranking up people there but they come across those people but they always ignore which is bad.

Some say they are not our local board merit source, may be you should go back and check you application so you will understand if you applied as a technical board merit source.

For those who say their allocation is just 50, if you can not distribute it when you are given 50 do you think you will do better when you get to 500? Make we no dey use our hands put our selves for wahala because one day we feet drag ourselves enter reputation na dia everybody go explain himself.

@Charles-Tim I just noticed that you are a merit source through this thread baba you no dey try, @ Mia Cloe, you dey try no let any side to spoil your mind but you need to try move cause even if your allocation small the one wey you receive lately self fit water every body drum for the board and you no go get shaking, @SmartGold1, even if you dey receive small make we try see say you dey give out na when you dey give nobody go drag you because people go definitely defend you.

I've read the posts written over the past few days and can't help but think we're too greedy as a community - 2-3 years ago we were far below Russian and the German local boards in the "merit shared for local boards"- last year the Nigerian Local had the most merits distribution than any other local boards and yet we still have some high rank members come here to complain about lack of merit distribution on the local board.

The records;

 - I've ranked up more than 100 local board accounts and send average 100-150 merits to this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5522344.0 monthly. This type of generosity does not happen on any local board.

- I send average 250- 300 merits to my "umerited posts thread" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5506090.msg64423302#msg64423302 monthly

My conclusion is either we're greedy and want everything to ourselves or some of you complaining of lack of merits are building alternative accounts and not getting enough to build them up. I don't see newbies complaining of lack of merit, it always the high ranking accounts.  Merit source are not jollof rice, we can't please everyone.

Y'all looked at this stats and still think we aren't doing enough? Like for real?

Merit shared per local board during 2025

Given the increase of merit sources across local boards, no surprise that almost all local boards had increased number of merit sent, compared to 2024. So, during the last year, 89244 merit was sent, compared to 2024's 75339 merit.

The one that obviously sticks out is Nigerian local that more than doubled the number of merit sent, and Croatian local that had ~150% increase owing it mainly to a few new very active members

I think you do a great job, even if it takes a little time this month, showcasing examples of everyone's contributions to our local board every month. Especially i look forward to seeing the list of top posters each month to see which members have posted the most, and which members have received and given the most merit. Indeed the monthly board statistics you mentioned summarize the contributions of all members.

Anyway, it must be said that our local board is still showing great progress and hopefully it will continue at the same pace in the future because the collective efforts of each of us are working here and our goal should be to achieve the top position among all local boards in terms of merit achievement, merit send, and also in terms of posts.

However, in this situation, I have one thing of interest to you, which is, it would have been even better if you had compiled the top posters, top merit senders, and top merit receivers of 2025 and who became DT members in 2025, this is just my little opinion.

It only had a overall total of merit earned among each ranks. In the month of April chart, I will add the overall grand total earned across ranks.

Yes, you may have discussed these issues in a separate thread before but I forgot about that thread and was looking for it here. It feels good that I posted a total of 303 posts for this beloved local board last year, maybe this year I'll aim to post even more. There are many member contributions to this LB every year and many are ranking up from here, maybe they should be added, however we respect the decision you have made now because if all of these are presented together, it may be clear which member was trying to contribute more to this LB.

Quote me wrong, anyone can present a local board monthly statistics, they are not been paid, so it's a voluntary service which anyone having interest could take up, moreover, hope you're aware we are already in the month of May and he made for April.

Why are you doing what you're not been sent, are you trying to centralized the monthly report or what? Anybody can do it

Anyway, I think you're in a hurry because he's in charge of doing this work, so it's better to just let him do it.

And where was it stated that he must be the one to report for the locals board, I think you're going to far in affairs that don't even concerns you, why are you using paracetamol for somebody's else headache.

Permission? Don't be naive on this.

Moreover are you competing with posts, don't draw more attention to yourself and later regret this.
