Well I believe XRP will achieve $5 price in the future but for now they still having a problem of SEC so XRP is still struggling to go up. If the XRP team win the case then for sure the price will pump and will hit $5 price.

$5 is too big price for XRP because of large supply of this coin. as you know there are 100 000 000 000 XRP coins. maybe if Ripple decides to burn at least half of them like Stellar did there will be a chance to reach $5.

True and not many people have high hope for Ripple both because of the large supply and its centralized nature. If it introduces the burning to reduce supply and try follow what BNB (BNB also have burning too!) on smart contract, maybe there was a chance for XPR to achieve $5?

Can? I mean it can, it can be 500 dollars too, "can" is not the right question to ask here. Will it? That's a different situation. It is around 1 dollars right now and it has been like that for a while and I have to say that it will probably stay there for a while as well, I do not think that it will be doing fine for a long time.

What I like about XRP is that cheap transaction fees as well as relatively fast. Actually, it cheaper now as compared with doge, when it comes to transaction fees. This coin is good for payment method. So if merchants are not ok with bitcoin because sometimes the network is busy, they can always opt for XRP in their payment system. However, it depends on the XRP team how they can market this coin to be very good alternative in the payment network. Right now, it seems $5 value is still from happening. Maybe in the next coming years, if the XRP team will be aggressive in marketing this coin.

In my opinion, 5$ xrp is not achievable in the future based on my own judgment alone. Possibly, 3-4$ could happen, but i know that whatever xrp is facing right now, to make a new ATH xrp needs to settle all past lawsuits , this got so bad that xrp's market couldn't bounce back.
