Yes you can make profit with XRP but for short term only. I also believe that XRP can reach $5 price in the future but in order to achieve that, they must win the lawsuit from the SEC because the price of XRP is really affecting, people are really doubt to invest XRP because of this case.

it's hard to make a profit if there's no good news about XRP, no hype means the price will not move uptrend. Ripple, contrary to a lot of quarters is a good investment. It has a good community, boasts of good and burgeoning partnerships with legit companies and is mainstream. If they get over their present legal troubles,(which I think is a matter of when than if) they can pump tremendously

I'm one of those people who believe that the top 10 in the marketcap can provide a maximum profit in three years, we'll see.

strongly agree that the top rank in CMC/CG will certainly have a chance to improve. it is possible that it will happen by the end of this year, but even so there are those that do not increase significantly but there are also those who are able to do so. XRP itself has experienced many problems, it seems that even though it is in the top rankings but to be able to surpass their last ATH at $3.40 - Jan 07, 2018, still experiencing big problems. even if it will increase it looks like it will only be able to get close to the last ATH, to get past $ 5 it looks like XRP will not be able to do it. |

if Xrp will have more supporters or investors then it is possible that Xrp will reach a price of $5 or even more than that. but until now I have noticed, even though what you say is Xrp is a token that is currently popular and has ranked 7th on https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/ but Xrp is like walking in place and there is no movement in the market. that's why I'm not sure Xrp will reach a high price. |

In the last year or so, Ripple hasn't looked so bad either despite having experienced problems in previous years, so it is also something that many people need to see that Ripple also has the strength to face every problem and also to defend itself. |

XRP price is currently around $1.1 and it took more than 450% increase to reach $5, XRP was going through a rough patch a year ago when it got sued and they got away with it, I panicked and sold all the XRP I had but after they won I invested again, the price of $ 5 will soon be reached and I'm sure if the market conditions in 2022 will be achieved.

It would reach $5 only if more investors are willing to buy now it's down and hold. Market capitalization affects price move. Once the demand exceeds supply there is always a cause for an inflation. In as much as XRP has achieved $3 it is still possible to achieve $5 all depends on the investors willingness to hold to add value to the coin.

XRP is nothing new. Digital currency is getting more and more popular day by day in the last few years. XRP (Ripple) is one of the four leading cryptocurrencies, along with Bitcoin,
Ripple's chances of winning the battle with the SEC are very low so reaching a price of $5 in the near future will not be possible.
XRP's chances to win against SEC still unknown, though even if the wins the market are already busy with other projects, the chance of gaining interest from investors is less compared way back. Maybe it's possible if there's still partnerships that come along and if those whales from banking industries start to play with this centralized asset. We never know the fate of every crypto coin. Only time reveals. Everything, if you plan to continue investing, make sure to have a good backup plan in case things won't work. |

The news of the lawsuit has not been made public to the community yet and as far as I know it's just that both parties are agreeing on a delay and an extension, XRP still doesn't have a transparent win, what has helped Ripple rise recently is just that they are looking to build a new strategy related to Defi, besides, there seems to be an effort from a famous exchange that listed back to Ripple and from two such sources, the value of Ripple has seen a certain increase. But as long as the law and litigation are still unclear, Ripple holders can't be too excited, they are facing a potentially high risk. |
