I’m a shy type person and I don’t want to gamble with anyone not unless I’m with my friends going into casinos but if its my family, I wont play around them. No, I would love to see people learn how to gamble, I mean, I love gambling so there's no reason I would hide what I'm doing. I believe they will eventually learn, so while they are still young, it's nice if we could educate them on the real purpose of gambling, the chances of winning, and most especially the "RISK" that we tend to ignore.

Its just a selfish move and wont really be that a good solution.If you would block the internet or dsl wifi then they could just simply make use of data connection which you cant really stop them on accessing the net.

If they are really into gambling or some secret engagement into something then it cant be stopped unless if they are fully aware with the risk specially with gambling addiction.

yes, much better to talk and seek professional help of a psychologist for the person who's dependent on gambling then trying to control their internet access

You have to differentiate a gambler who has maintained a decent life, a happy family, a good job, etc from someone who ends up pawning and selling all properties, left by family, fired from a job, etc because of uncontrolled gambling.

Excess of everything is bad and same holds true for gambling also. Some people are so addictive to it that they do it like a profession (leave everything for gambling). I have seen many stories of how rich guys lost everything they had to gambling. Gambling is fine if you do it occasionally but worst if you are addicted to it. You wont see any gambling addict in profit but in loss.
