1. Pray to God for you not to be a Victim
---snip---
That's the whole definition of god isn't it? I mean I am not a religious person myself and I understand where you are coming from because I do believe that god has nothing to do with this situation. However, if you are a religious person and pray to god constantly, then isn't the whole idea of god is that it helps you with everything? You get cancer, you pray to get healed, you lose someone you love, you pray for power to overcome that sadness, you are poor, you pray for more money, you are sad then you pray for happiness. What you want, think of it like "wishing" for something to happen and even preventing bad things as well.

Like your kid goes to school, you pray they come home safe, nothing happened so far but you pray that it will keep on not happening in the future as well. That is what god is to many people, I see where you are coming from, but if you try to understand where they are coming from them praying not to get scammed makes sense.
Failures can happen anytime, just because you pray to God doesn't mean that you can avoid getting scammed. Praying does help if were talking about cures and stuff but still i don't think it can help you not getting scammed. We are bound to have failures in life because without mistakes we can never learn. It's the same in trading.

If you're gonna keep on praying down on your knees but did not apply any actions, then you're efforts will go to waste but if you're lucky enough you wouldn't get to be a victim. Some scammers out there are very skillful and i'm just being realistic. Those who are already knowlegeable in trading even got scammed because the scammers defeated them. Even some people who are very successful right now experienced failures in life because they take their mistakes as their lesson in life that leads them to success. You see, God hears our prayers but test us, for us to be more stronger in life. He is telling us that, if you want to get happy and successful you must pass this road full of failures to achieve your goal.

If we all agree on this, we will be wiser. Scammers are becoming more sophisticated, and they are increasingly employing important people. They strategize a lot more now than they did previously, and they use a lot of tools. I'm both astonished and terrified since they're always changing. We should conduct research in order to gather expertise in order to combat this scammer, and we should be extremely cautious.
A very good point because now they are mostly doing things in groups, and we are facing some serious difficulties in this all I personally scammed, and I lost very big amount because they were really sharp and informative about situation where I was stuck, but I have this scam as lesson and now doing things much better with patients because in search of quick result we are really bringing ourselves in terrible situation which give serious after shock. Scams and these scammers will be around us until we have some good number of stupid peoples, so try to have your homework in better way for avoiding things like this.

Without being a stupid person before, a person won't learn. Being scammed is not just a negative thing but users who experience this now become knowledgeable and sharing their experience with those newbies. We can't really blame other people as they are new to this kind of attempt so rather calling them stupid, let's educate them unless even after several scammed experiences and not using their common sense, these people still believe in the unrealistic promise. Good luck to these people.

we must learn from the experiences of others or our own experiences so as not to be scammed. I think it takes concentration when something is not right so we can quickly notice it, negligence is usually what makes us fall into this trap

To make a short and brief ways to avoid dealing with those fraudulent scammers who tried to put us down.
Never entertain suspicious emails, and other telegram private messages came from unknown person with anonymous identity. Some of them recommends impossible roi on every investments that attracts us to be part of their team but in reality it's going to put you on their booby traps.
Yes think before you click. These days, almost everything are online due to pandemic so scammers will also go through online. With that we need to be extra careful. It is also important that we have the right knowledge on a certain thing before we make our decision especially if we will be using our own money like investments. Make reading a habit. Let us not easily believe in things that are too good to be true.

Days ago, due to an NFT game project, a great scam happened, which was very famous among lovers of these projects, but I think that those who fell for the scam the reason why they did it was due to lack of information, They are people who let themselves be carried away by the FOMO, and trust to stay in a whitelist, although staying in a whitelist is the right time to do the biggest and biggest investigation by all means, not just by reading the whitepaper , but searching through the networks everything, even here in the forum sometimes they make threads of them. That scam was called the crypto race.

scammers are always looking for new ways to launch their actions, so we are forced to not easily trust new people we know on the internet.  other than that, don't be easily trapped and persuaded by the lure of scammers, keep using logic and don't be greedy.

Since bitcoin has skyrocketed, I often receive emails that offer offers to invest with big profits, and they use the names of popular people on social media, of course this is a scammer's way to deceive us and it's better to ignore emails or offers that promise big profits that don't makes sense.
for experienced people like you, it might not be a problem even though there are many scam emails, because you already know the characteristics. but it will be different for those who are beginners with the many benefits that will be obtained so that they are tempted to follow it, and this is what will make them disappointed later

Avoid some facilitators who is asking for your personal details before they can impact you how to earn well in the community. Never you tell anybody about your location and your personal address that link to your wallet  because that is the easiest way scammers use to have access to many investors account and be scam. Stay away from those friends you don't really know who they are or where they came from in the forum because most of them are scammers but pretend to be a savior to people in the platform.

If we use a PC then the most important thing is to always update the antivirus, I use ESET and several times detect viruses and malicious programs that enter the PC via email or website links, that's the easiest way I do because I've lost 0.65 btc when I'm not careful transact so that the bitcoin address I want changed and until now still traumatized if I want to send bitcoin.

Antivirus software might help in some cases but it is not wise for cryptocurrency folks to blindly rely on it because it sometimes can't detect some sneaky sophisticated malware. Moreover, if it can't detect something, it can't prevent you from clicking on a malicious executable file that you receive via email. In order to avoid being scammed this way you obviously should not carelessly click on attachments even if you know who the senders are. What you should consider doing to minimize the number of malicious emails is to try to use a separate email for each service. Consider using services that provide disposable emails or aliases. For example, you register with one of your aliases, once you start to receive malicious emails you can disable or delete that alias completely. Not only does it give you some protection against spam and malware, but it also protects you in case there is a major data breach. If one of your pseudonyms becomes publicly known, you simply delete it and no longer care you will receive some malware on a leaked address.
The problem with antivirus software is that until they detect a piece of code as malicious and they find a way to nullify it then that code can do all the damage that it wants to a computer, and since the people behind that code most likely are looking for financial gain then this means that you are always at risk of installing something that eventually leads you to lose your coins, this is why I recommend those people that cannot secure their computer to get a hardware wallet and forget about those issues.
AV's are just second layer of security and whats the main one? Its up on your own common sense and awareness about potential viruses and malwares. If you do have the habit on downloading recklessly then most likely

you would really be ending up on unfortunate conditions due to being hacked because of downloading malware and viruses.I have tried out back in the past that i dont have Antiviruses but did turns out that im still

safe despite of that condition which do proves out that if you arent that careless then you would really be saving up your ass on these conditions.
Without a doubt your first line of defense is your common sense, after all I understand if people need to install some software on their computers that may be unsafe but if they do so then do not install it in the same computer where you have your wallet, this is why I recommend a hardware wallet, hardware wallets are cheap and for such a small price they allow you to secure your coins to a degree that most people cannot reach on their own.

Unfortunately dumb people are everywhere around the world. It is not special to just one nation neither, we have so many stupid people in the world and the reasonable ones are trying to keep the world afloat and that seems to be minority right now, majority is stupid people. Which means is that there is a good chance that we are going to have billions upon billions lost in scamming because there are enough stupid people who are willing to do it.

I believe that most people who scam others are also stupid people as well, you need to see all these scammers, 90% of them are just "I am a Nigerian prince" level of idiot who tries to make some profit, and they end up not even scamming anyone or very few people. In the end we are talking about some people who are getting a lot of returns as the minority of the scamming world, they are the "smart" scammers which is rare as well just like how it is rare to find smart regular people as well.

There are a lot of dumb people in this world and funny enough, they can never go away as one cannot be smart all round. Mind you, even smart or educated people could be victims of scams too. All it takes is you placing your trust in the wrong person or project or perhaps, it was a relational thing to you. Conferring the trust you have one someone towards his or her patronage or Appreciation of a project and just like that, you have made yourself vulnerable to whatever scheme that is at play. One way to safety is doing your own investigation and ensure you stick to the rules of investment to minimise damage.

lol I don’t know how praying to “god” is going to do you any good when it comes to not getting scammed. The most important things is be carful with what you download, keep your passwords safe, and do your research! A lot of people I’ve seen get scammed simply didn’t do their research which was mainly not asking a financial professional for advice. There have been so many crypto invests I’ve warned people of who didn’t want to listen to a financial advisor like myself who told them to stay away, like with bitconnect for example.

If we are often online then we must always check the antivirus on the PC, currently there are too many malicious programs that can steal our data so antivirus updates are important, I use ESET32 and there is an automatic update service available, besides that if we open a site that related to data access such as MEW so be sure to type it manually.

Hmm, it's also useful for people who aren't particularly tech-savvy because it can detect malicious activity. However, I believe the best approach is to be cautious when clicking and installing software because we never know what will happen. Now the question is, how do we go about doing it? I would recommend doing some research and reading, as well as asking someone who is a bit of a techie. We should be aware of the internet's risks and security so that we can protect ourselves.

You are absolutely right, in my case when I operate with the MEW I always make sure to use only what is necessary, that is why it is always good and advisable to have the funds either in Binance or if they have it in a wallet, something well protected with all the necessary security fractions, some say that it is somewhat exaggerated, but I have discovered that through cookies many hackers reach our PCs and steal our information and this is something very common, if we do not have to remember the Ransonware things that it is now the easiest way to rob any person or business entity.

Anti virus has a role for someone to get scammed. It's about how you check your deals and the activity you do online. And it all should start from you that you have to check the files you download before proceeding.

besides that if we open a site that related to data access such as MEW so be sure to type it manually.
Right because there are phishing websites that you might land if you're just typing it on search engines.

I'm unfamiliar with ESET32, I think in most cases an anti-virus software would provide such a service for the sake of the security of its clients/users. An anti-virus indeed helps us much nevertheless it doesn't prevent us from the entire scam, we still need to educate ourselves and are supposed to be aware of it every single time in order we don't fall into the trap.

You could do bookmark the original site later, so no need to write a hyperlink from time to time in case you want to visit it again

We need to learn from those stories where actual people really suffer from those hackers. Having your fund safely stored in your trusted wallet is really important. In all aspect securing our money is very important, hackers are everywhere they can quickly penetrate if we give them the hint, if we put down our guards and relax with our security hackers will take all the time he has to suck our wallet or any important information that we have.

They can easily sell it out online without our knowledge. Be careful in anything that you deal with, make sure to increase your protections
by using good antivirus and extra layers for your securities.

Many techniques are used by fraudsters to steal our money, the best thing to avoid scams is to store cryptocurrencies in exchanges that implement KYC and activate 2FA which will create a high level of security by activating Google authenticator, so all transactions that occur must be verified with the pin provided by Google .
