Should you sell ethereum and btc to buy Solana/SOL?

Solana is a new promising altcoin that surpassed dogecoin to be ranked up to seventh place on CMC. And based on its price last August 15 2021 it is only 44$ and now its current price is 157$ based on that super Sonic price movement from 44$ to 157$ for just one months, I think Solana is good for short term investment, what would be your insights about this guys. Good for long term or short term investment?

Maybe a short term investment would do, but how sure are you that it is going to continue with this uptrend and for how long? I usually don’t know the answers to give when people ask questions like this, but I would really advise it to sell Bitcoin to be buying another token or coin, so if you have another money to invest in this particular token then you can go ahead with it.

Although Bitcoin seems to have reached his limit for now others been circling around the price range of $50,000 and $40,000. Same way you least expected this Solanatoken to reach this high, that’s the same thing that might happen with Bitcoin soon. And it maybe at a time when you have already sold yours to buy another token that may soon start to depreciate.

SOL has been very good lately in the market and i can see it has a huge potentials that will pump hard in the future. But i still not consider selling my bitcoin or ethereum to buy this token as i don't have the full trust for SOL to keep on pumping even if the worst scenario in  the market will suddenly happen. Maybe if i decide to sell my bitcoin or ethereum, the reason is i want to enjoy the profits for now as their current price is already high. But i don't close my mind from investing into SOL in the near future if it still has its own huge potentials that will beat the market's sudden dipping of prices.

Solana ecosystem has grown massively this year while attracting a lot of projects to its blockchain, thus I can say it is good for both long term and short term, although either of them depends on what the holder wants to achieve and his target. But what I won't say is advisable in my own opinion is selling Ethereum and Bitcoin to buy SOL, that would be a terrible idea, unless you are in good profit in Ethereum then selling the profit to buy SOL would be a good idea.
Ethereum on the other hand, have a lot of good fundamentals or upgrades next year and this alone is capable of keeping Ethereum bullish till next year and thus increasing its value over time.
Moreover the price of SOL really dumped this week because of what happened to their network or even more, thus anyone seeking for long term holding can start looking for a nice entry.

I will do the same. Or other option is just to sell some of your btc or eth, and then, buy sol. But don't sell all your btc and eth because they are the top among these currencies. With regards to SOL, you don't have idea what future they have in this market, can it compete with existing networks like ETH or BSC, in terms of popularity of usage? The price may be growing right now but up until what point it will continue to increase?

There’s a huge pump with SOL recently but that is not enough for me to sell BTC and my ETH because they are all good to hold, and if you really want to buy SOL better to use fresh money. Looking at the price of SOL right now, it looks like the peak was already hit and the price starts to enter into a sideway trend so if you’re still planning to buy, this might be the best time to enter.

I am thinking about: is SOL really that promising and guarantee a good and worthy future investment always?
SOL has been pumped, and should we get in this coin after it's pumping?
I personally will not take that high risk of selling moreover my BTC and Ethereum to convert to SOL.
It is better to invest in whatever that we know, not based on hype at that time.
We must also know the exact good time to enter the market of a coin. If we are entering when the rate has been pumped. it will be very risky.
I actually have some SOL for trading only, but not willing to add more SOL by selling off my BTC or ETH.

Sol is up 400% in a month, too risky if we buy Sol at this time. Solana is growing very fast, and we should not get caught up in the wave of FOMO.
Long-term, I still believe that the sol ecosystem will continue to grow with many indicators reaching new heights.

It's really up to you. If you think SOLANA will be a great additional to your portfolio, you can make a diversification rather than selling your other assets. No need to fully dump your BTC to ETH unless you want to risk everything to SOLANA. As long as you understand the risks then just go ahead.

Personally, I want to diversify my portfolio assets with Solana. Long-term or short-term, I will sell it based on my anticipation of the market. Try deciding by yourself with your own given factors.

seeing the development of SOL some time ago, I believe that many people are thinking of selling their assets and collecting them in the form of SOL. In fact, currently the price of SOL is still very high, and has the potential to increase.
however, I would also not sell my assets if they were bitcoin or ethereum. I strongly believe that the potential of these two coins is greater than SOL in the long term. even when we look for a little information, then the conclusion is holding bitcoin and ethereum still has far more potential than other coins.
I also have the same thought. if interested in SOL, it is better to make a new investment instead of selling popular coin assets to buy SOL. thus the potential profit received becomes wider and larger.

No. I will deduct the reserve fund to invest in all 3 at the same time, but now I'm more biased towards Sol. I think Sol is becoming a huge competitive threat to Ethereum in the near future.  Sol has an impressive increase in August with more than 200% growth, the expansion of the ecosystem with large funds allowing the expansion of funded speculation in Sol has created an increase huge capitalization for Sol.  The volume of projects developed on SOL's ecosystem is still small, but Sol's growth potential is enormous.

Solana is a very trending coin right now. On Twitter, most people are bullish on this coin. For the long-term investment it's a good coin there is no doubt. but don't forget about the risk. Because selling Bitcoin and Etehreum for other altcoins is not a good idea. It would be nice if you hold 70% of your asset in Bitcoin and Etehreum. The rest of them are in Solna but don't invest all of BITCOIN and ETHEREUM converted money in Solana. Bitcoin and Ethereum are good investments and it's already proved.

Both of these patterns are suitable for investing in Solana, both short term and long term, Solana is different from Dogecoin, Solana is more effective and stable in its movement in the market, compared to Dogecoin, it's just that Dogecoin has a good effect from speculation caused by Elon Musk, I have studied solana from the last month and there is a possibility that later this year solana will deliver the best value shocks on the market, with some assumptions that I have discovered from market observations and investors.

I didn't suggest sold-out Ethereum and BTC buy Solana, I suggest you should hold ETH and BTC for the long term, and if we invest in SOL then we should more invest in Solana instead of sold of ETH and BTC because EHT and BTC will also move up in future and SOL also will be going up for the long term.

You can use you bitcoin and ethereum coin as you deem fit.  It is important to know that altcoin is very volatile both big and small cap. If I  were you,  I will not trade Solana yet until it has established it's,  price range away from the present pump.  There are big whale backing Solana and in terms of infrastructure,  Solana is not as good as ethereum.  So, it is better to wait and see how things plays out!

Not a financial advice, but if i were you i would have sold eth and BTC for SOL, given its quicker transaction speed and lesser transaction fees compared to both BTC and ETh. Although the mining equipment required for SOL is much more expensive, that is a more like one time expense, unlike the ever increasing gas fees.

I think my ETH and BTC are more significant over the long haul. What we need to know, SOL is as of now making the siphon too high in the blink of an eye. this is only a pattern and there is a high likelihood of a decay when everything is done with SOL. Solana itself is a promising undertaking yet we don't have the foggiest idea how great the task can fill later on so I think you better stick to Ethereum and hang on close with your Ethereum.
