As we all know, blockchain-based gaming is currently booming.  Not even a few have felt a big income from playing the blockchain-based game.  My personal question is, is it just a momentary phenomenon?  And among the many gaming tokens, which one is worth a long-term investment?  Please friends share your opinion here, hopefully it can add insight.  Especially for those of us who are still beginners in the crypto world

I only trust Bitcoin Ethereum and Ripple for long term investing (Or Holding as we called)

but Gaming platform is really increasing now Specially NFT games like AXIE and Mir4 .

Gaming industry had been in "boom" when high-end smartphones was created and when android applications came out. Game creators found another chance to redeem themselves because it will easier this way rather than making a full PC applications that will take a lot of time.

yeah that is also a point because of the availability of the high end phones in which we can easily access those games  not like in the past when we needed laptops and PC's to play.

Yo got it right the coins you mentioned is good since they are tested and could be trusted compare to any coins in the market but add ADA on your list since this is also a good coin to hold.

Also any among other game came out here I trust Axie more than anything out their since so far they are providing a good experience to their users although the price of their token drops but its considerable knowing the large number of players minting slp everyday.

I wasn't among the early investors for Axie because I had no idea what NFT was as at the time, or let me say I wasn't paying a close attention to its fearures as at when it got introduced. In short, I decided to start my first NFT gaming with Cryptocars, which however has been giving me steady profits.. you may as well DYOR about it.

No one can say for sure. You give importance to your research. If you are new, try to know the crypt first. The more you know, the more you keep moving forward. If you go ahead with the crypt in the words of others, you can never make a profit. So give importance to research yourself.

Indeed, true that at this point of time NFT gaming so far are very trend,there are many of them recently arise here in cryptocurrency business industry. but the majority of them didn't remain stable in the market, that is why you need to become more observant or sensitive. And the only gaming platform that is good to me are Dragonary and Axie Infinity so far.

Not all maintain the stability as most are now fading, not sure if they are just moving according to this current fall or they already done with the hypes. So far, the two that you mentioned are still alive and still surviving. Even the rewards are no longer the same but still providing some good amount if you do enjoy the game.

It's tough to say if there's another run for gaming platforms which created inside blockchain. It will rely on how investors from these sectors will continue or they will find other venues for their investment.

Over time, perhaps natural selection will occur.  Where developers who lack innovation, will be abandoned by investors and gamers and will slowly die

People nowadays are enjoying the community of Play to earn games and this is how crypto(specially NFT) see the opportunity to do business.

I'm not sure if this will stay long but what I knew is that gaming is increasing nowadays .

and more and more players are entering the scene now.

actually i am also one of those who's enjoying the opportunity to profit from those games .

It seems that many of my friends here believe that blockchain games will always evolve so that they will last a long time.  Even so, we must always be careful in making choices, because among the many blockchain games, there will still be those who die because they are unable to compete with others.

nft gaming will become a trend and not just a momentary hype. In the long term, I think big games like illivium (ethereum-based) and star atlas (solana-based) will be promising long-term investments.

if you are referring to NFT play to earn games then i must agreed that these are momentary , it's just happen that the games they are offering is in demand but do they have product?
just a playing and earning is what they do and i don't think it is really that in demand for long term.
i will give it at least another year in 2022 to declare if they are truly here or will be gone like what happened in the past.

In this case, perhaps eventually natural selection will occur.  Where game developers who are less creative, will slowly be abandoned by the community.  Meanwhile, game developers who are truly creative may be able to maintain their community in the long term.  That's more or less what I thought

The price is too high for now. Perhaps, you should wait for more to see the price will go down to a lower price. If that person bought at 2 and sold at 20, that is a big profit for him. But booming in gaming platforms will continue but not too popular like before. Perhaps, it will need more time to boom again, especially if there is a new thing coming at the gaming platforms to attract attention from people to come back and make it popular like before.

I don't say it is no prospects. The gaming platforms will continue but the popularity can reduce until there is a new development in the gaming platforms that can attract the people's attention back to the gaming industry. The AXS can still exist on the crypto market but I don't know if the performance can be like before. You should remember that nothing can last forever and that will replace with something new.

Personally I believe, for developers who are truly innovative, they will be able to keep their community growing.  So that the platform can survive over time

or scammer took an advantage of it too. That is why being careful and wise in choosing the legit one is very necessary to all community
here in the forum so that in the end they won't be a victim by the scammer.

Those platform earn tremendous growth its because many people climb up when they see an opportunity to earn on that category and since gaming platforms is on fire so its not surprising to see those scammers use this scene just to scam people.

And sometimes its easy to spot scam and those who have crappy design and other weird things in their site also they offer so high profits to their investors so we need to be careful on that things so better select those big project with high profile team so that we can lessen the risk.

Replacement seems impossible but maybe we can rephrase that statement into, it can last forever but there will be something new that might overcome the popularity of some trending blockchain games today. There are honestly lots of blockchain games today that shine on the stage now and seem can reach the popularity of AXS. Not that close but still, there's a chance.

That's right, from the few gaming platforms I've monitored, one or more seems to be gaining that popularity.  I even bought the token, and so far it has given me a pretty good profit

They're some gamers who already doing this in terms of making money out from their hobbies, before blockchain there are games where you sell characters and equipments to earned decent money, but with the booming market which blockchain offers, those NFT p2E gaming system really give that kind of additional entertainment.

Gamer are playing now not just because of their usual goal, but with the potential good amount of money involve they will paly harder.
