Will Dogecoin survive without Elon Musk?

I think Dogecoin is just for a joke, and basically just that. But if Elon Musk sees it as a project that can make him add to the coffers of wealth, it could be that Dogecoin will still strengthen.

Might come out as a joke but the fact it the dogecoin project came up as a joke and any monetary benefit that came with it was not anticipated...was more of a consolation prize.  And Elon Musk joining in to hype the dogecoin project could be that his playing along to keep the joke / the meme king alive but overall with or without Elon musk dogecoin will be there, the crypto ecosystem is bigger than an individual.

The fact that Musk is no longer bringing anything new to this coin and the price still hanging @ $.2. A Meme coin who attract
investors support, we don't know what's the fate of this coin but in terms of surviving this coin still very possible to stay at it is.

if you like the risk and you believe that Musk or whoever individual that shows interest to this coin may pump it back and begin
another market run.

And it was hyped by someone which is a billionaire and as this market is really highly reactive to hypes and news then its no surprising that it did really make out some significant rise up on prices.
This is why you should really be careful on making out decisions because this would really cost you money whenever you do caught yourself in the middle of the dump which would really
end up for you to hold for long term until you do make cut losses. Every coin does have particular risk and its usage and its true that this was just a clone meme coin in the first place.

I even laughed reading your statement, do you know that Dogecoin has been around since 2013 and Elon Musk at that time did not know Dogecoin well and no one knew where Elon Musk was at that time, but why Dogecoin is still alive today although in the past the price was very cheap? that means the robustness of Dogecoin is not in the hands of Elon Musk because he is not a god who can save other lives.

I agree and this is very true! Any investor will tell you high volatile markets pose a huge risk on investments and during the times of Elon Musk constant tweeting and posting his opinions on the dogecoins project it was really difficulty to know whether doge will be bullish or bearish which meant price stability was never there. But today without much of his involvement the price of the meme coin is super stable and this is what I would look for in a coin.

Many may be waiting for another good move for DOGE, the truth at this time I would not risk with the currency, however I think that as long as the BTC raises this movement it will benefit Doge.

Exactly. Dogecoin is simply a joke with no real use cases in the mainstream world. Those who think otherwise, simply don't know what DOGE is all about. The project might survive without Elon Musk, but it won't gain the same attention as it has right now. Dogecoin will be left behind in the dust, just like everything was before Elon Musk started shilling it. As I've said many times already, there are far better cryptocurrencies on the market with innovative features, greater ambitions, and real use cases than Dogecoin itself. It's up to you to decide which coin to invest into for the long haul. I wouldn't advise anyone to take Dogecoin seriously unless you're willing to lose a lot of money in an instant. Just my opinion

Couple of years ago, around 2018, I researched a bit deeper about dogecoin. I came to conclusion, that it is like dormant: development dead, a dying thing.

Now quite recently I stumbled across news, that dogecoin has been actively developed again. There is the US company called "Dogelabs" (New York City and Tulsa, Oklahoma) discovering, creating, and implementing “real-life” uses for the Doge Protocol. A layer bridge between doge and ethereum is coming, and so on.

So obviously dogecoin has a chance to survive also without mr. Musk, although he can and has already given huge boost.

That's correct, you can't just based on the past because 2018 is a year where most altcoins have suffered a lot and it's the start of a long correction. The growth of DOGE is not due to its development, it only rises in value due to the hype created by Elon Musk, so it's safe to say that without him, DOGE will remain on its value of volatility.

Now, look at DOGE, does it pump again? No, it only moves within its range and there's a big indication that it's just like a ticking bomb that will explode anytime and people will eventually panic.

Elon Musk did a good job on his personal interest in DOGE, though I must admit that there are people who are lucky enough to ride the train and able to sell at the right time. It's hard to ignore those newbies in the market who are just FOMO'd and now continue holding their bag of DOGE still believing that they'll be able to sell their holdings to their target price.

Unlike any other cryptocurrency, there is a lot of love for Dogecoin even without the involvement of Elon Musk. Everyone forgets that. We love Dogecoin but we don't like Elon anymore with what he did to the market about its manipulative tweets. As a joke and now with Elon pumping it and lots of people jumping on board. , I think it will stay in its iconic status for a while. Elon Musk has disappeared since then and he no longer posts Dogecoin related stuff. I really he will come back and continue Keep taking Dogecoin higher and higher with the next record ATH.
