I think it should be Donaire that should be the underdog in this match. Despite that he's popular and also well known, Gaballo's record is good with zero losses.
And even Donaire has a lot of fights already, he has 6 losses. This is just my opinion about this match if looking at their professional records, only 4 fights out of 24 fights of Gaballo were not knockout. That's a good percentage for his entire career.

Man, IMO, power is not the only factor in winning boxing, boxers have different ways of fighting the opponent. I Saw Donaire's recent fight and I can tell that power doesn't leave him, and you can see those punches marking on the enemy and add those defensive skills of Donaire. Never doubt every boxer's ability to fight, both of them are still in a good shape and this fight will be really good.

Stamina is something an issue to Donaire but we have seen on how he lasted up until 12 rounds against Inoue which simply means that this one wont really be an easy thing for Gaballo.

He would really need tooo have something on at least able to be on par with this upcoming fight on an opponent which is good at speed and counter punch.

He can last in 12 rounds but based on the past results, he lost most of the fights if it last in 12 rounds, so that's the strategy Gaballo's camp should study. Donaire is a knockout artist, his opponent cannot be careless as one mistake, the fight might be over. Gaballo will be the underdog for sure, and as I see on this kid, he is not mentally tough to face a high-caliber champion.

There's something still in mind like Pagara but recently he was charged with a case of raping a teen (NSFW) but the boxer denied the accusations. I don't know if he can still get his feet back on the ring and I admire his skills in boxing but this current issue surely put him to some serious challenge. You are correct there. Age is not hitting Donaire, at least for now. Not just against Oubaali but his performance against Naoya Inoue. If Donaire and Inoue are in the same age and prime, the former can destroy that champion. And prior to fighting Inoue, he reached the finals of that event destroying a much younger boxer on his way to the top.

Look at some highlights about Nonito's counterattack. It can give heavy damage even to a prime boxer. Gaballo knows that. It's hard to fight a counter-puncher wherein Gaballo's majority of his winning is not against a boxer of that type. He will be tested against Donaire and that will be the best opportunity in his career to fighting against a solid counter-pouncher.

Right, this kid has some serious power and good body shot too, although I would say the talent is still very raw (although the videos I have said is 2 years old), so a lot of improvement. But this one is really going to test him against a experience Donaire. So it is going to be very close fight, don't count out this kid, he could be the next big fighter coming from the Philippines. If he can pull an upset, he will have a bright future and who knows, he could challenge Inoue or Casimero too as he will have the full belt if he win.
