I'm not sure if Donaire will retire just because he will lost to Gaballo, he just recently sign a contract so maybe a minimum 3 fight deal for him, including this one.

I think it is like s Manny Pacman situation. He's been a target of strong boxers because he was one of the most admired athlete out in the field. He aged and but needs to defend a title. But until the end of his journey as a boxer, he did gave his best.

The only way for him to retire fighting a champion after losing to Gaballo is if he is a big enough star to still bring a lot of audience to his fights even after a loss, can he do that?
