I already posted a link yesterday about Casimero being stripped on the title already.

But we will see if there is an official announcement from the WBO itself.

Joseph Agbeko is already the replacement so forget about John Riel Casimero now. All he had to focus right now it full recovery and then go back to reclaim his belt.

I disagree though, maybe what he needs is to really go up in weight if he wanted to get healthy because he might be too big for this weight already.

But we will see if there is an official announcement from the WBO itself.

Joseph Agbeko is already the replacement so forget about John Riel Casimero now. All he had to focus right now it full recovery and then go back to reclaim his belt.

This is the first time that happened to him, at least give him a chance to still prove himself again, and if not, then maybe he would really have to go up in weight and face a new challenger in such weight class which I think he still have a good chance of winning.  We are not happy with the news but there's nothing we can do, Casimero probably trained hard for this fight, so if we are disappointed, for sure he is very upset.

Guys if something unexpected and unfortunate happens to a boxer that people don't like. IMO, it's better not to think that it's karma for them. Boxing is their business and livelihood and I think Casimero doesn't even want to be lying on that bed and taking a rest if the fight is really for him. The trash talks that we've heard once, it's always part of the drama in boxing to take the attention of every fans in the world to be interested for their match, it's part of promotion.

I think that's the logical step for WBO, to give show case to Casimero because they can't really stripped him of the belt without reason. And for Casimero, to get the clearance from the doctor.

The World Boxing Organization has issued their resolution on the world title reign of John Riel Casimero, who will continue to hold the WBO championship at bantamweight.

So as expected, WBO accepted the fact that there is real cause as to why Casimero didn't show up in the weigh in because he was really sick. And the WBO find it reasonable to they retain him to be the champion.

And hopefully since both of them are under the same management, there is a big chance that the fight is still going to happen early next year. Let's wait in the next 15 days on what will be Probellum decision here.

Oh, that's good to hear that the WBO sided on Casimero on this one. It was really disappointing to hear that the fight didn't push through this December because Casimero got sick.

I think I'm one of the first poster to look at how Covid-19 really affected the boxers.

But I don't have the data, if I'm not mistaken, Lopez got Covid prior to his fight with Kambosos and that's why it was postponed. Not taking anything away from George, he did a good job against Lopez, but at the back of my mind, the virus might have weaken this boxers.

But in this fight, it's a different scenario, so I will still go with Casimero to win by a devastating knock out and still defend his belt.

Lots of fight had been postponed due to that new variant which it isnt something surprising and this would really make their training time or duration would be longer and that would be at least some advantageous stuff

For facing up Inoue then i would really consider those both Filipino boxers could neither face him up on next years but for Casimero fighting Butler then this one wont really be an easy fight for Casimero for sure.

Of course Butler would really a big fish and he would just simply deal off with postponement rather than replacement.
