For the weight issues, he has to work hard to lose that excess pounds. Still months to go, so again, this is doable and hopefully that stomach issue that he had before won't come out again. That is the main problem here as it is viral and come back anytime.

If I'm not mistaken Casimero has had already a number of weight issues in the past. His latest weight issue involving his match against Butler was certainly not the first. This has become a recurring problem with the boxer. I guess there is a problem either with his personal physical conditioning training or his conditioning team.

If Casimero is having a hard time adjusting his body in his present weight class why doesn't he move to another class so that he'll get his 100% comfort?

I haven't heard about that news or rumors, I thought Casimero is well prepared and he always gets the right weight requirement on his fights. However, if that is true, then maybe it's time for him to move in higher weight, but before that, how about a fight with Inoue?

That would probably be the next step if he struggles, however, isn't it nice to see a unification fight between two champions before he will move up? I guess that would really give enough entertainment to the fans as we always like to see this kind of big fight, and Inoue being the beast, should not say no to a challenge from his fellow champion.

Of course, we all want to see that, however, it's seems like it's far from happening as one camp is only willing while the other is playing hard to get.. if you know what I mean. For now, let's just hope for the success of Casimero so he can proceed to his next plan and hopefully a big fight.

I think his latest weight issue was just a rumored one and there's no fact that can back that claim because the truth is he's been hospitalized that is why he didn't managed to show up on the weigh-in. Nonetheless, he should get his self together as the fight is also fast approaching. IMO, he better train in the USA rather than in Mandaue City.

I think he's training with his coach named Nonoy Neri at Mandaue City, correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't know what's the real reason behind why he just trained recently but I believe it's connected to his medical situation that's why he rested for a bit. Casimeros have no more than 8 weeks left to do all his trainings and diet before the schedule weigh-in and fight, I hope everything will go just fine.

Let's have faith in him, he never fails us down, and I'm sure he will deliver a sweet victory in this fight. It doesn't matter where he trains as long as he is ready for his upcoming fight, let him prove to the people who doubted him that he is still a champion and he deserved a unification fight.

Right! I know that he won't fail us and certainly I know he got this fight as well as he knows that this is his only ticket to get more fame and chance to fight bigger names in the industry like Inoue and the likes. About the place? Of course it matters where he trains because it would really help him in terms of game plan how to take down Butler without getting badly injured.

This is not new to Casimero, he fought a lot of fighters before on their home court, Nah, Casimero will find it an easy fight and he will win as expected. You can check out his previous fights, he's been everywhere just to beat the best fighter in their country. https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/421916

If I'm not mistaken, he has been calling out the champion in the higher division already. But maybe he chooses to stay here because of Inoue and to an extent Donaire himself, good pay check.

So it's really a concern that it might pose a problem for him because in the past as you have said he has some issues already. Hopefully if he can hire a nutritionist or dietitian that can help him maintain his weight for this division, much better.

The problem is he's been calling the champs on the same division but they are not responding to his expectation, what would happen to the sport if champions are afraid to fight his fellow champion and will just use an excuse to justify their refusal to fight. Casimero deserves a chance, they cannot say that they will not fight him because he trash talk a lot and they got insulted, that's so soft of them.

Inoue though did respond right? but as we have discussed a few pages back, still up to his promoter Bob Arum. And as we have said, Arum has the history of protecting his fighters specially his cash cow.

But most likely if he win against Butler, it's just a matter of time either Inoue or his fellow Pinoy Donaire will be next. That is the only fight we wanted to see in this division.

I got your point mate! But I think we have some misunderstanding here. I'm not referring about the venue of the fight because I know that Casimero is already used to it, but I think we are talking about the place where he would train, right? That's why I said that "ofcourse it would matter where he train as it could really help him more" and not just some random place just like you said.

Bob is indeed one of the good Promoters "in the eyes of the Fighters" but it is not for some people.
I quite agree to say that Bob protects his Dairy Cows because this is quite true and there have been several times he has done this.
It doesn't matter what I think Inoue should be one of his opponents because it's really not funny if it doesn't happen especially if he does win against Butller

For Bob, boxing is business, so he will make sure that his investment will give him a profit, and he will not put his fighter at risk of losing because it will lose the value of his boxer and he won't be making a lot of money from a boxer. Just for example, if Inoue fight Casimero and Inoue lost the fight, that is a big lose for Arum as Inoue being a pound for pound fighter will lose his belts and will not be a champion.

Indeed, he surely knows what to do to make money in this industry with minimal risk involved and won't likely pursue any fights that won't be any good for him especially if it's Inoue or one of his best cash cows, but for now Bob is ain't interested about Casimero yet. So, Casimero should really secure this fight against Butler if he really wants Inoue to fight him. In that way, he has more chance rather than just talking trash to provoke the other side.

I only know that he is calling either Inoue or Donaire, but he was not given a chance to get the fight so he keeps his trash-talking technique but it seems not effective. If he will go up, he won't be a champion anymore so probably he will become a mandatory fighter if he will be in a good ranking.

Nothing beats out on someone who had been holding or making fights be possible and its true that no matter how he trashtalks if Arum wouldnt really see any reason for letting Inoue fight then
he wouldnt do it for sure and it is really right that Casimero should rather be focusing on whatever fights that he would have along the way until he do really get that kind of attention for him
to be considered on fighting Inoue in the future but for now, we dont see any signs for it to happen which it is really hard to make out some assumptions.

^^ I think John Riel know what is on stake at this fight so better to start training hard in the Philippines before going to O2 arena and UK.

For the weight issues, he has to work hard to lose that excess pounds. Still months to go, so again, this is doable and hopefully that stomach issue that he had before won't come out again. That is the main problem here as it is viral and come back anytime.

Training hard won't help and is not advisable. He should train-wise.

For me, no need for hard training as I'm sure there's no problem with his strength and body conditioning. His stamina is surely still on top and his quickness and speed are still the same. The problem lies within his inner body that he needs to work on.

You are correct, the condition is viral and can come back anytime. There's no 100% treatment but rather there's a 100% chance to avoid that.

Right, Pacquiao is the best example. But you also have to look at how many fighters went out of their way of Bob Arum, like Oscar Dela Hoya, Floyd Mayweather and of course recently Bud Crawford. Who knows, maybe Inoue will wake up one day and severe his ties so that he can get the fight that he wanted and get more money instead of Arum having a huge cut on the revenues.

Maybe he has a hard time adjusting to this weight class already, but we will see if he wanted to stay here or move up after this fight. Maybe it will depend on his training right now and how we feels, and it could also depends on his team, what will be their best advise for him. We want him and Inoue to go against each other this year, but if he moves up then obviously this might not happen in this division unless Inoue goes another weight class as well.

Ofcourse, every boxers too have their own needs and wants. So aside from money, they also want to fight whoever they want especially if it's their dream match with whom they want. For sure, time will come that Inoue will wake up and he doesn't need Bob Arum anymore just like you stated above.

By the way, Pacquiao, Oscar and Mayweather are also a promoter now. Except Bud Crawford, correct me if I'm wrong  Cheesy
