I just updated the title of this thread. Very unfortunate news for Casimero but he will be covered by Jonas Sultan, another great Filipino boxer and hopefully he can still bring the title to the Philippines.

I will favor Sultan here either by a TKO/KO late in the fight.

Casimero should provide valid reasons for his action, otherwise his world title will be stripped of from him.

If the organiztion will implement strict rules, he don't have anything but to accept that the belt needs to be stripped.

This will certainly bring Casimero's career down so i don't know how he will cope up from this.

He will start from the beginning after losing his belt, nothing can be solve if WBO will be more strict.

I guess his camp is already aware that what they did is already a violation, and now they come to pay for it.

Glad you do, it's six months of discussion about Butler and Casimero only to end up with Sultan fighting Butler for the title, Casimero is losing a lot of opportunities because he is to focus on social media he should focus more on Boxing and forget about social media I understand he has Vlogging but he needs to re-asses his career and pick the one that matters more, he can retire and focus on social media or concentrate on boxing.

This is really an unfortunate news for all those fans and for those who have booked its ticket and accommodations just to watch Casimero fighting against Paul Butler but now all those expectations have all gone in an instant after that said video was upload on Casimero's YouTube channel, what a dumb action indeed. But I believe everything has its reason and why Casimero have pulled out on that fight, it was his problem after all because he cannot lose that weight needed. I thought they already fixed it and there's no problem at all that we all just have to wait him on the day of the fight.

Sultan vs Butler is a 50-50 fight for me. Butler has the advantage of being on his homecourt but we all know that Jonas Sultan has a big heart and he trained hard for this fight because for their team this is expected.

For the information of those who did not know, Jonas Sultan defeated Casimero on their fight last 2017, this may boost the confidence of the Filipino pug coming into the fight.

I agree on that 50-50 and I also think Jonas Sultan has the advantage he needed to defeat Paul Butler in his own territory because of that fact that he also defeated Casimero before in Cebu, Philippines.

Though, this fight might be a tight one because Jonas Sultan is not that capable to defeat Butler by a knockdown or TKO. So my best guess would be a unanimous decision or maybe SD.

Since yesterday I noticed there were no odds for this fight at Sportsbet. Just now I checked it out. Unbelievable that the hometown fighter and ex champion is a heavy underdog knowing Sultan is only a late replacement on the very last minute. Butler at 4.20 against Sultan at 1.20. Crazy. A friend of mine told me to take a bet on Butler but i'm confused because I actually like Sultan. And Sultan becoming champion will create more noise in the division as he was the last to beat Casimero. And the dream of an undisputed bantamweight champion is still intact because Sultan will definitely entertain fighting Inoue or Donaire.

Casimero and the team know all this stuff Casimero is a professional boxer for over ten years and his team knows exactly what they are doing, the biggest mistake is the social media if the video did not come out in public, there's a probability that we'll see Casimero and Butler facing the ring, the video and the social media gave them in, to much show off in social media is the cause of this and Casimero should learn his lesson there are something that should be kept in private.

That was five years ago and if Sultan wins the title, Casimero can challenge Sultan for a rematch and it will be sweet revenge if it happens the Casimero Sultan fought is very much different now, he has improved a lot but it seems Casimero cannot keep up with the weight anymore and he will haver to prove up, in the first place this would have happened if only Casimero can keep up maintaining the weight, let's see Casimero's plan he will make an announcement on this.

They arent really that careful but instead exposing theirselves on what they are doing and now they had really exposed it out which its understandable that they would really be facing the consequences.
Sultan is surely not prepared for that sudden replacement and i doubt if he had that enough time for him to train out considering that this is an unexpected arrangement of a certain fight.
Butler would really be normally belittling Sultan not compared to Casimero but lets hope that this would be still a good fight despite of the issues that happened.

Its very unfortunate to see how the fight end up and seems sultan fighting style is so lousy since he can't adjust for what gameplay Butler show on that match.

 Now Gibbons is packing up things since Butler take the belt.

If Casimero is there for sure we can see different story on that fight since Butler looks like like lack of stamina especially on late rounds on that match.
