We all want money and there is no doubt about that, but for every rational and sane person, there are quite a few things like family, loved ones, spouse, good health and love, that may just come ahead of making money. The problem with the today's economy is that it's getting costlier by the minute!

For normal human being to accomplish the basic needs like food, water and shelter they need to pay huge amount of cost to the seller, government and day today merchant.

With the time there is scarcity of raw material, increased automations, decreased jobs, increased valuation of real estate and much more!

To pay off even the basic needs peeps are striving these days and that is why every one is forced to earn the money and get involved into society.

I am not even counting any leisure stuff here, its just basic needs.

If we would have been here thousands of years ago, then I am sure all you had to do was wander the woods and get it yourself.

Agreed, and according to religious belief, if you die, you cannot bring the money with you. Though you are correct that money makes life easier and allows you to be happier, many people believe that you cannot truly find true happiness solely because of money. We really need money to buy our basic needs, and while some of our wants are unnecessary, others are grateful and wealthy because they can afford them. I don't really understand religion, but money is just a means to an end tbh. It's not the end. There is something called necessity and there is something called luxury. For most people earning enough money for their basic necessity is something which drives them. There have been instances where people struggle even if they are rich, all the money in the world cannot make them happy. It does not matter how much money you have, what matters is how you handle it and how content you are with the whole world?

I do think that the main focus should be investing in yourself, investing in your education, making sure you are on track, undoubtedly people focus on money and they need to, since in today's world, it's not only important but you cannot actually survive without it.

The good thing about having wealth and money is that you are able to share it to those who are needing it so badly.
