Your reasoning is not entirely correct. People do not believe in the accumulation of money and wealth, but strive for the accumulation of money and wealth. These are completely different concepts. The implementation of this desire can be both legal and illegal, that is, criminal or at least unethical.

Money and wealth should not be compared to religion. We do not endow money and wealth with superpowers and do not deify them. Money and its significant amount, that is, wealth, are substitutes for goods and services that can be circulated and provided in society, that is, they are completely material concepts.
Yes, people strive to save money and become rich, and I don't see anything wrong with that. We live in a material world and everyone can dream of improving the quality of our life. If only it did not cross the line of human behavior and was not an obsession. This is precisely what religion helps us, which, as a rule, places spiritual development much higher than material security.

Making money is not a bad thing either, i am investing in the cryptocurrency market not to feel good and to talk to my neighbors about that. I am here to make profit like everyone who is investing their money in any financial market and what is wrong in it.

I am not supporting criminal activities and you cannot change that aspect. The illegal acitivies revenue is around trillions of dollars which is much bigger than any successful private company and it is hard to change that stats.

Since money is a necessity for survival, I believe the majority of people are materialistic. That is, by far, the most common issue facing people today. Everyone needs money, but people are never satisfied with what they have; they always want more. For example, there are people who want to buy a bicycle, but after doing so, they want a motorcycle, and after doing so, they are still not satisfied, so they now want a car. You are right, unfortunately for everything you have to have money, to take care of your health and for any emergency, I think that the fact that many want to be with family, they need:
1.- Own House.
2.- Car or motor vehicle to move (Own)
3.-Amenities
4.-Food
5.- If there are children, guarantee them food, education and cultural training (sports, music, theater, among other activities)

For all this money is needed, for those who do not have a family, in the same way they need at least the first 4 listed, I think the world has always been focused on money and it has become a reality or necessary religion.

yes nowadays most people see people's success from how much money they have, I don't know if it's something wrong or right but it's reality. nowadays someone is looking for money not only to survive and buy something they want because nowadays it is not uncommon for money to be a benchmark for someone's degree. as you said many people do anything to earn money and this shows how important money is in today's world.

I think you are wrong in the way you have described this. Money is a necessity, but it isn’t a belief. Everyone in the world is different, we all need money because we have to take care of our family , and also take care of ourselves by providing food and shelter and clothing, but it's not everyone that is ready to do negative things just because of money.

It can only be said that you worship money,  or you have the love of money when you are always ready to do immoral things just because of you need money, things like stealing, cheating and the rest of them. Some of us are different and we always have to work very hard and positively for the money we get, so that shouldn't be counted as the love for money or said that we worship money.
