There's a line of difference between money and religion. Money having the feature as a store of value whereas religion has a moral value where it plays the role of control and moderation to humans on the extent to which they should chase or do anything for money.

No doubt, Money brings comfort, increase ones accessibility to better health and other advantages in the society. And that's why everyone in the world struggle towards achieving and accumulating money. And with this many people tend to do anything to accumulate money irrespective of how it affects the next person or their immediate society.

Religion haven't really meet up it's role in the society but to a certain level the faith it profers us is what provides us hope in this hopeless world where everything is money based.

Let's face it, it has all the prerequisites for a religion, let me just go through the list:. Mysterious Creator who has suddenly disappeared from the face of the Earth or does not exist - Check. Celebrities endorse it to give it more legitimacy – Check. Several sects that secede from the main beliefs because they disagree with them or instead want to form their own cult - Check. Many, many conspiracy theories around it - check. Persecution by government organizations they fear - Check. Crazy evangelical fringe believers who walk around trying to harass people to follow her – Check. I don't think that money and accumulating wealth can be the sole purpose in life. Don't get me wrong, money is important in life. We all nerd it to survive, but money brings no happiness. What if you are very rich and to sick to enjoy the money? All the money in the world doesn't matter if you or a close family member is suffering from an incurable disease. That is probably also why none of the major religions list money as a goal in life. Another thing is that our capitalistic countries are not designed to make to make everybody rich, only a small fraction of society will manage to become rich. Taking out student loans, mortgages or payday lending is what keeps the big banks running. Having financial independence for all people is no goal for politicians.

Forexample if we do not have any vehicle - we would love to have a bicycle and latter or our demand increases. We would always want to have more and more money. in this case what you say is true but on the other hand you forget that nowadays money is still in control in determining anything.
in fact, there are many people who are enslaved to money and power either directly or indirectly.
self-control and firmness in principle will instantly be destroyed when money acts.

I am not lucky and I have to work extra hard to make my living. So times people do good research and work very well on it. They are those who have good brains. Mine fairly works very less.

Maybe in this case you still haven't found the right way there. actually when you work hard there is also very good because in this case I still believe that the hard work done will have a good impact in the end.
