My main is one of the mostly advertised on these pages. So far I had to pay 7-12% to perform exchanges. But usability of the wallet solves more problems then it creates potential issues. Therefore I stick to it. Can't wait to pay for services and goods directly from wallet to seller!
That was quite expensive. Which wallet are you referring to? AFAIK most Bitcoin wallets (at least those that are open source) don't have a built-in exchange, so all you need is to send your BTC to an exchange. It doesn't take a lot of money depending on the network condition. 7-12% of fees for one trade is quite irregular even among closed source ones unless you're talking about the exchange fee itself, not the TX.

There are many bitcoin wallet for android. But now a days those wallet isn't safe for using. I prefer hardware wallet for holding any cryptocurrency's like BTC ETH many more. you can buy leger wallet for keep your fund safe. Personally i use safepal hardware wallet for my own fund.
Safety depends on how you use them. It is not safe even if you use an HW but then put your seed online, or use a weak password. Don't think that HW will solve any of your problems. Even a mobile phone wallet is good enough as long as you set it up properly. Obviously not the best choice for a cold wallet, but for small transactions/hot wallet, using a mobile phone is still okay IMO. CMIIW.

I've watched several videos on youtube that for the android version, Electrum can be a good recommendation to use. Previously, as a person who actively uses android because I don't have a laptop, I now use a trust wallet and will switch to electrum because electrum is also available on android and its use is also easy I can see in some tutorials.

In that matter, it's your choice, as long as you always remember that in every choice we make, there may or may not be a risk, just like you, I also experienced using Electrum which I downloaded from android, but I only did it once because I'm more comfortable with my laptop to use the electrum.

Then I also watched some YouTube content that downloading Bitcoin or crypto wallets on androids is quite a high risk and prone to hack most of the time based on the content creator, which has nothing to lose if I believe the creator of content because if I think about it, it has a point and is right.

At the moment too many wallets to choose from and you can not be too sure of the authenticity of them because even scammers (hackers) are able to push cloned apps on some reputable app websites.
Though personally for transactions that move in and out coinomi serves me well thanks to its multi chain features, and different device support, but for long term use an address generated offline should be enough for my btc.

That is why it is good for wallet developers to let users to verify the authenticity of their wallet and its latest version. The common bitcoin wallet that I know more about like Bitcoin Core, Electrum and Bluewallet all make use of PGP verification which is enough to know if their official sites is compromised or not, to know the authenticity of the wallet you downloaded on their website. The mistake some people can make is by not downloading the wallet from the official site and also by not verifying the wallet using PGP signature. Third-party sites can have the fake ones.

It seems that Samourai's team does not have a very good reputation, although they compare both wallets in terms of privacy, but Wasabi does not have a mobile version.

I would like to know if any of you use Samourai for mobile or another wallet and what you think.
I haven't used Wasabi and Samourai, so I don't really know these two wallets. But as far as I've heard, Samourai is one of the better Bitcoin wallets on Android.

So far for Android I am more comfortable using Blue Wallet. I have also used Electrum in the past but Blue Wallet is much easier to use on Android, as well as some of the support available such as Multisig and Lightning. I even recommend Blue Wallet to people around me who ask what wallet is good to use on Android.

As far as you know about the Samourai wallet, are there any issues with using it on android like some of the issues with the mobile version of Electrum? The desktop version of the Electrum wallet is pretty good.

From the features seen on the official website Samourai Wallet is available or supports Taproot. Maybe that's the difference between Samourai Wallet and Blue Wallet. Blue Wallet has many advantages including Offline Mode.
With Blue Wallet we can set our own transaction fees, can we do that with Samourai Wallet?

Samourai wallet can not generate pay-to-tap-root addresses, it supports legacy, nested segwit and native segwit for now. But with Samourai wallet, you can send to pay-to-tap-root addresses which other reputed noncustodial wallets would be able to do.

With Blue Wallet we can set our own transaction fees, can we do that with Samourai Wallet?
It make use of slider. It is well explained here: Smart Miner Fees - Samourai Documentation

The one I use is named 'wallet 10.01' which comes from Google Play and has got reference at https://github.com/bitcoin-wallet/bitcoin-wallet with description given at https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/tagged/bitcoin-wallet-app. Not sure if it's provided by any kind of hacker but following use experience it's quite reliable. I used it to pay for ProtonVPN services and for several inter-wallet transactions. All went without delay and problems. Anybody else gave a hand on it? And you're absolutely right about fee. It includes exchanges portion which is the most part of it.

I am not gonna compare wallets, since I haven't used a lot of them.

My favorite is BlueWallet. Its quite straightforward and easy to use.

You can create hot wallets providing your own entropy (dice rolls, coin flips etc).

It also works perfectly with various airgapped signing devices.

The only wallets I've ever used on android are the Electrum wallet and Klever wallet, and according to my use of these two on android, I haven't experienced any problems using them.

Because if they ever have updates, I immediately do it if they have a reminder to their users. Also, I don't often put a lot of money into the apps I mentioned, the only thing I often use is the desktop Electrum and the same way I save the seeds and private keys are actually stored in a safe place.

The Electrum wallet is one of the Bitcoin wallets that I currently use.
Besides that, some Bitcoin wallets that I think are quite complete with the Taproot wallet for Ordinal wallets are Xverse Wallets.

With Xverse you can have 2 Bitcoin Mainnet addresses and a special Ordinal Wallet Taproot for NFT Bitcoin and also support for lightning Network payments.

An interesting feature is also for Ordinal wallet users who mistakenly transfer Ordinal to the mainnet Bitcoin wallet, which can then be withdrawn to the appropriate Ordinal address.

I use Jaxx -- can recommend
I just read your reply and thought it's important to comment on it and warn any one who reads it:
In case you are not aware, Jaxx wallet is shutting down their services. You can red this thread for more detais:
Jaxx Liberty wallet shut down || Attention, Jaxx users!
If you are a Jaxx user then you should move your coins to a new wallet or import your current wallet into a new wallet app, asap.
For Android, I would recommend using Electrum or Blue Wallet.

Release 1.9.31 android Nunchuk wallet has been released.  Among the improvements devs note the following:
   Support for batched transactions
   Coin ancestry view
   Ability to configure gap limit
   Bug fixes and improvements

I liked the wallet in general.  Please note that this android wallet allows you to open and use Taproot accounts.  And by the way, not many of these wallets for BTC support Taproot.  And they are still rarely added for widespread use.

To be honest, i don't look for alternative BTC only wallets because i have been using Electrum for sometime now, and it is safe, secure and is the most recommended BTC wallet for mobile and desktop. I haven't used Nunchuk wallet before, but i have seen a few people recommend it, and so i have researched about the wallet, it doesn't look to be a bad wallet, but it supports cloud back up for seed phrase and keys, and that is a bad option and enough reason for me not to recommend it, just like Ledger and their recovery feature. Additions like these make people who understand BTC so well to avoid certain wallets.
WORRIED ABOUT BACKUPS?
We've got you covered! Wallet and key backups are automatically encrypted and securely stored in the cloud. With our assisted recovery feature, you can regain access to your wallet with a few simple steps.

I completely agree with you.  and even if the topic is about the best wallet for bitcoin, I also would not argue that nunchuk is the optimal and best wallet.
Your arguments are indeed proof of the negative attitude towards such wallet recovery schemes from the point of view of an experienced bitcoin user.
I am also annoyed by this latest news from Ledger.
But I think that this trend in terms of recovery options will still continue.  and this is bad and violates the main advantage of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Honestly never heard and use Nunchuk Wallet before and I check their domain it was created in 2020 which is pretty new compared to Electrum Wallet which is already proven safe and has actively developing and updates for many years.

Why would I switch to another wallet if I already got the security features we need on Electrum?
The only bad thing that Nunchuk developers did is that they added Cloud service for making a backup of our wallet which is very bad on the future it may compromise our wallet and steal our funds if someone has access to their cloud server.

Keep in mind that the Electrum wallet that is based on the app isn't good to use, some features on the PC version aren't applicable to the app and I think other people will prefer to use another mobile app than the Electrum.

This Nunchuk wallet is new to my ears, I didn't even hear it before.
And based on this article,
Quote
Nunchuk’s mission is to make multisig the gold standard — no pun intended — for owning Bitcoin.
IMO, they are good as a multisig wallet.
