Are you describing the mobile version of Brave browser?
Right, the Android version of Brave browser.

Is the bug related to the Android app or the Android system itself?
Looks like the problem is the Android application, not on the Android system.

Or is your device infected with malware?
My device is not infected with malware because other important applications installed are not problematic and run normally.

I'm not sure how this bug is related to a wallet app though. While it is possible that a bug in the system makes multiple apps stop working, I've never experienced it myself on my Android phones.
I think my Android device has a problem when the application I mean bounce off to the main screen automatically.
In short, I tried to start the Android device again and nothing was different.
The solution is I un-installed and re-uploaded and there are no more obstacles during the browser.

As I explained in the post above that unexpected events can make a wallet installed on mobile can be hijacked even though sometimes it has nothing to do with the wallet application.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

While it is scary, users can avoid them as long as they are careful. Most malware distributions come from malicious apps, not to mention Google's security system is just terrible at filtering them. If you want to download a new app/wallet, verifying your app on the official website or distribution channel is a must these days.
User caution is the first protection before installing an app onto their device.
Certainly do not install applications obtained from the black market or third-party websites.

But even so, this Xenomorph malware acts as a trojan that hides in applications that look legitimate to use.
Therefore, Google Protect did not detect it because the attack used was relatively new.
But now Google Protect and several other antiviruses have made security improvements for the Xenomorph Malware type.

Also, pay attention to the permissions that will be requested by the application to be installed.
If the permissions ask for personal access such as SMS permissions, telephone, data access, camera, and other crucial access it is worth being suspicious.

It is a bit unfortunate that some people rely on Google to protect themselves. They are never proactive, and sometimes even make false positives when scanning wallet software on their store. It is a bit weird that malware pass their filters easily though. As always, people should always verify their apk files before they install it if possible, and stop searching through playstore if they want to download sensitive apps like crypto wallet, exchange, etc.

For multicurrency walelts Trust Wallet is also open source and it supports a wide variety of altcoins. It has an Android version:
https://trustwallet.com/download-page

This is high time to edit this post, buddy, since Trustwallet is not an open source app anymore. They became a closed-source app years ago. I was checking old comments regarding the best Android wallet and saw your post and then realized the post is old.

I was using Electrum for my Android, too. But recently, the update made it almost unusable.
For example, I cannot use coin control; I'm unsure if it was available in an older version. QR code scan does not work. Overall, it does not look good anymore, and I don't want to use an older version. I am looking for another good Bitcoin wallet. How is BlueWallet these days?

I believe samourai to be one of the best wallets out there in terms of connectivity to own node. I have tried connecting it to my dojo node and it worked flawlessly. Apart from that it supports coin control which is a must for me. And it also has a built in implementation of whirlpool mixing.

The only problem I had was that I couldn't maintain more than one wallets simultaneously. Am I wrong?

I haven't tried this wallet yet. I installed Bluewallet this morning but did not create a wallet yet. I also need the coin control feature in my wallet, If Bluewallet already has that, I don't have to switch to another wallet. Are there any Bluewallet users here who have been using this wallet for a long time? I do not have any node, and I have no idea how it works.

The mixing feature seems interesting to me. I would love to try that as well. I don't know how it works but I have used several Bitcoin mixer websites before. Does the mixing feature same as like mixing service websites?

The reason why it still relies on Google is because the majority of Android users will definitely use all Google products.
Malware that escapes Google's monitoring also has several new methods to get in, we can't fully blame it.
But yes Google has full responsibility for securing all kinds of applications in the Play Store.

And for crypto wallets, I never download directly from the Play Store,
but it is highly recommended to visit the official website to get a legitimate application and can avoid malware applications.

BlueWallet is also a good choice, but I still use Electrum because I have been a user since the beginning of Electrum ad
and some of the UI updates have completely changed it.

But for QR codes to work normally, you may need to update or delete and install them again.

Not really. The mixing services websites like the one in my signature facilitate the process but the keep it under the hood. So essentially you just send to an address that the website provides you and you put a receiving address where you receive the mixed funds.

Now in regards to Whirlpool, it is very well explained in their docs https://docs.samourai.io/whirlpool

So grab a cup of coffee and with some patience, you will eventually get there.

Personally I mainly use whirlpool with my sparrow wallet which has it plugged in. But since the op question was about mobile wallets, I can't recommend it in this topic.

Hello, I've read your entire topic, and I'd like to share my opinion with you, I'd like to suggest Trust Wallet as one of the best wallets I've used It has an amazing work plan, is highly secure, and offers a great deal of privacy. With its 12-word system  you can create a strong account and  that you can't be hacked or  something else . Your money is kept safe and under your control; you just need to safeguard those 12 words While there are other wallets available .Trust Wallet is the best choice for me.

Trust wallet is the best wallet because it gives you full control of your Bitcoin, and it has multi-currency options. But I don't think they are trusted enough because once Binance takes over Trust Wallet, they become a closed-source wallet app. You have no option to check what changes they made in their coding and if they have something bad in it.

Other expert Bitcoiners suggest not to use Trust Wallet. You can use other open-source wallet app/software that is open source. So I don't use Trust Wallet and Do not recommend anyone to use it either.

Trust wallet is owned by binance, so i don't agree with you that you get a great deal of privacy when you use this wallet. Trust wallet is a closed source wallet that lies in their website that they are open source, and that is another reason not to trust this wallet. It is a self custodial wallet, but of what use is it being self custodial when you cannot verify how the keys were generated, and this is another reason not to use Trust wallet. It is worth mentioning that since Trust wallet is a multi-coin wallet, i don't care if you use it to hold shitcoins, but do not use it as a BTC wallet when there are better open source solutions like Sparrow, Electrum and BlueWallet.

Pardon me, but do you evaluate the wallet software only by the UI? Because, frankly, that is the only part of Trust wallet that I would find kinda appealing.

It is one of the worst pieces of wallet software in the Bitcoin ecosystem by far. It is closed-source, relies on somebody else's server to operate, and it owned by Binance. The three musketeers of a recipe for disaster in crypto space. Look on what happened with Atomic wallet. People lost fortunes and the developers didn't even tell us what went wrong. Re-installing a similar software is a sign of recklessness and lack of responsibility, simply put.

Close sourced wallets are one of the worst kinds of wallet you can suggest here, whether they are custodial or noncustodial

It's seem you are just into the game but just so you know, closed source wallets have had issues in the past and what happens is people realize about a bug or hack when it's too late.
Take an example of Atomic wallet hack. Up to today, the team behind the wallet has never been transparent about what happened.
Just search about the likes of coinomi, Jaxx wallet, exodus etc.

Like you I also think trust wallet is the most secure because this trust wallet supports all platform tokens.
More than 60 million people worldwide are using this trust wallet However, Trust Wallet is a proprietary wallet of Binance. Moreover you can use these android wallets. eToro,
Exodus, Electrum, Mycelium,Coinbase Wallet.

Does that really have anything to do with security? I doubt...

You think?

Then you probably don't know much about wallet security or haven't even read through all the replies in this thread. You chose to stay ignorant. That's on you.

eToro is a wallet? And who the hell uses Coinbase wallet?

Trust wallet being a multicoin wallet doesn't mean it is secure, i would not even think of storing my BTC's in the same wallet as shitcoins. Do you also know how many people use Binance exchange, does it make it safe to store your funds? If you do not know, then take note that if you are looking for a good wallet, you check if it is open source, self custodial, well reviewed and recommended, and for the fact that Trust wallet is owned by Binance is probably another reason to be careful and not trust it.
Moreover you can use these android wallets. eToro,

More than 60 million people worldwide are using this trust wallet.
So there are lot so many people who still doesn't know how secured wallet really is.
Plus, having huge user based doesn't mean it's totally secured, look at the technicalities how closed based wallets are usually hack and prone to bugs.

I'm quite confused. Based on your post history you clearly know that a noncustodial wallet is the better choice and custodial or closed source wallet should be avoided if possible. Your recommendation clearly does not align with your post history. Did you just learn them recently or do you not know that some of these are closed source? I'd suggest you to edit your post since it doesn't seem like you're foreign with good security practices.

It is worth mentioning that since Trust wallet is a multi-coin wallet, i don't care if you use it to hold shitcoins, but do not use it as a BTC wallet when there are better open source solutions like Sparrow, Electrum and BlueWallet.
So far, the wallet I've found most comfortable to use is BlueWallet. Yep... like someone who didn't know much about wallets when first time got into Bitcoin, I used popular wallets like Coinbase (3 years) and TrustWallet (3 years). Basic learning left me revisiting wallet security because I had experienced a breach in an online created altcoin wallet, so.. decided to re-evaluate the security of my crypto balance and wallet security.

Since some more knowledgeable folks in the local sub forum were using BlueWallet, I didn't hesitate to give it a try. Up to now, I've gotten used to using BlueWallet for sending and receiving transactions. It's super convenient with its compact features. And just to note, I keep only a small portion of my balance in my Android wallet. This is to ensure the security of my funds because my mobile device is my daily communication tool.
