One thing I have noticed is that, it's usually developing nations who are keen on banning/thwarting crypto, while developed nations are busy creating/improving regulations.
That's what's happening right now, every coconut country has their own rules.
But I am lucky to live in Indonesia, with crypto rules that are not too strict, and even the government provides crypto regulation as a commodity asset that allows us crypto users to trade it legally, but should not be used as a means of payment.
Developed countries have their own vision and mission for crypto, building their own and taking part in the management of a more advanced crypto ecosystem.
Support like this will make the future of crypto better.
If developing countries wanna get better, at least follow footsteps of developed nations. A mere fair tax laws with freedom for crypto to flourish will give government tax revenue and happy citizens.
Lack of understanding likely contributes to such decisions.
It's not that those who ban crypto aren't completely lacking in understanding crypto, they've certainly done research on whether their country can implement crypto.
Or if it threatens their security and economic circumstances, they will ban it.
But there are also those who ban because their rottenness does not want to be exposed and tracked by anyone,
because crypto with Blockchain technology will provide a History that can never be erased, that's what they are afraid of actually.
