it's still pretty hard to predict whether ethereum will actually hit $5k this year. however, I believe that there will be a day when ethereum will hit $5k.

One thing i am certain, it will eventually reach $5k this year if bitcoin will never experience some serious huge dumps that will cause the market to crash. Because if not, most likely we will end this year witnessing a new ATH for bitcoin and ethereum. And that will definitely make the whole crypto market bullish again.

However, we cannot say this is sure to happen as there might be sudden negative attacks that will cause the market to dump. The road to greatness for our crypto ecosystem lies in having well lead out laws to enforce regulations. Most of us might not like the sound of this but it's the only way institutional investors will jump on board. Right. I think you are already degrading ethereum with your own prediction. 5 years is already long enough and by that time ethereum might have its price already ranging from $15k-$20k. Its better to look forward with a positive thoughts than stay on its negative side.

Well, i must admit that i almost lost hope for ethereum to reach $5k this year because of the recent dump that has affected the crypto market. But now that the market has become stable again, and seeing bitcoin continues to surge, then i'm starting to believe it now. Ethereum will definitely move positively if bitcoin will take the lead and break its new ATH. As of this writing, bitcoin is at $47,556 while ethereum is $3,345 so provided that there will be less price corrections before the year ends, then both of them will end up very bullish. But i know even if there are sudden price dumps, solid coins like them will always recover and continue growing up.
