Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.

I don't care if we are in a bull or bear market. I am just acquiring more of my favorite coins for my portfolio. Currently, my focus is on XSN the native coin of Stakenet as it's still undervalued but holds so much growth potential. And I have to be prepared for the second altcoin phase, which is imminent.

Buying with the hype if you have good amount of spare to risk with it,

What we witness from the current situation, when a certain project start to pump up there are more interested traders to play with it.

Doesnt really matter which one of the two because you could really have both as long you do able to see some opportunities and not just really limiting yourself on one method which means you would really be needed to be
that versatile on whatever situations you are facing or seeing because the market cant really just having a hype or fomo situation or neither having that dip situation which simply means that you could act according
to the situation which would really make out some advantage or you do seem that will be beneficial.

I believe that you need to know TA in order to trade. And if the rocket flies away without you then let it fly the main thing is not to get losses. You can still earn money on other coins and there is no need to grieve over a missed opportunity.

TA will assist in knowing the appropriate period to buy at dip though it might not be accurate or perfect but it can be very effective especially when using some indicators that signals overbought and oversold zones, eg RSI indicator.
Riding with hype is also profitable provided that the investor is kept abreast with any latest fundamental news which might trigger a sudden pump or dump in the price of cryptocurrencies, although the end of the hype is unknown but a trader can ride with the trend and quickly take profit.

Buying in the dips have profited me enough keeping in mind that coins which i hold stand a growth in future but if you're holding any shitcoins then buying in dips is worst mistake as they will not rise afterwards.You can hold till long if coin is btc and buy the dips and will eventually get profits from them.

This one seems the easiest way but needs to required proper research and personal experience but they worked smoothly whenever you do it your own way. You just need to understand when you first start to gather experience, start with the amount you can afford to lose or any small amount just to have some thought of what's gonna happen if you do this or that. I have two strategies and I use them according to type of coin I invest in. If it is mainstream currency, I would rather wait for dip to take it for good price. But I don't invest in different strange shitcoins on bear market and when they are in dip, because I can't be sure if they will recover then or not. So I buy different trendy things during bear market and then sell off them, if Bitcoin changes its movement.

you are right, never buy shitcoin in a bear market. they can't recover after being dumped.
following an asset that is currently hype is also good, the most important thing is that you focus and don't lose the moment. it will keep your assets safe.
if I prefer to buy top market assets when the market is bear market and sell them when the pump occurs. I didn't think for a long time, the most important thing was that the profit I got was enough for me.

I prefer to wait for the market price to decline, and I have done that for a long time, I have never made a purchase using a hype strategy, because the strategy will be very difficult for me to analyze every market price movement or maybe I have not dared to take it in such a way. Therefore, I prefer to take something simple and easy to make a profit because I just want to take a safe position.

Honestly, I don't trade consistently but I do look at the market everyday and trade some NFT's.
I always go for the hype, ride it. But you have to be sure the hype is fresh. There are a lot of made hypes with old coins or old projects and they are not really profitable, big investors don't really enter that realm but just average and small ones.
Something like a new game coming out or a new blockchain that is being worked with pre-sales of tokens. I usually buy those coins and sell it whenever a price increase happens even for just small amounts.

Personally, I prefer to wait for the price to drop. and not in a hurry to buy. because I realized even though the price is volatile . patience in determining the decision to buy is needed. better late than in a hurry. and also depends on the situation and market conditions as well.

Most coins if i wait for the dip i might miss the profit so buy when the coin is dying down.Assuming I waited for the dips to happen before buying, then obviously I might have to be in lost at the moment big possibility and chances won't recover because I doubt the meme hype will be returning.Buying in the deep does not mean we will get profit, if we don't analyze it first, the price may plunge deeper.Vice versa if we are able to analyze, even though the price is rising we will be able to take advantage of it.
The only time waiting for the dip works if when you buy established coins with bright futures and not those project only created for speculation purpose.I use both strategy but on different times, I ride the hype if I have interest just for the short term while waiting for the market to dip has to do with long term trading or if I'm interested in investing.

its up to you if what kind of trading you will going to do if you are a short trader or long term. Diffinitely the best time to buy in the market is when the market is in dip you can take this advantages to buy crytpo in low price then wait the time of pumping for me thats the best thing to do.

if you want to obtain quick profits then its a good idea to ride the hype in the market, for me i used to make quick profits using trendline and some useful indicators , but on this situation it's sometimes not accurate, so i need to wait until the candle fell into the current support then buy and sell at night, it's optional wherein its up to you if you want to hold it for long term after buying at the current support, but a friendly reminder mate that you need to monitor the graph because it's quite skeptical on this current situation, i mean there's always a chance it will go more dip after the ups as the the market still not fine.

For me, the best method is the buy-in the Dip because the price of cryptocurrency is fluctuating in 24hrs basis and it will return to normal during a day or a night depends on the situation, while the hype is only good for a short period and it's risky to buy during the highs of the hype because we never know when that so-called hype will be ended.
