I think both of strategies are profitable just it depend on your timing. Up trendy and hype coin investment can easier to make profit in short term but on the other hand, it can bring high risks. I do a little bit of research before to keep up the hype coin flow because of any random coin i will never choose.

Depends on your strategy but for me, riding the hype are more profitable especially if you got in early on the hype since waiting for the dip might take more time and you already lose bigger opportunity because of that.

You can just wait for the dip if you are late buying a specific project and its already on its peak. Always have a good strategy in buying and selling, its very important.

None is easier, both have difficulties and risks. But I prefer to trade by the hype, I mean I will buy a coin and trade the coin if there is good news related to the coin. I usually monitor some social media of several crypto coins, especially those trending coins. I prepare to buy the coin for day trading if I hear good news from their official social media. There's no easy profit. There's not even much more effective. It depends on our risk management and skill-related, knowing when to buy or to get out. I do both, riding with hype and waiting for a dip. To some altcoins, I will wait for the dip if the price increase is now at 100%. My risk management when riding a hype is only on a 30% price increase. Higher than that, I won't risk my money unless I see something good plans that might hype more a certain coin.

The only difference is the time frame.
If you are short-term trading, riding the hypes makes you more profitable in a shorter time but the risk is so high. While buying on the dip had somewhat to wait for a few days in order for you to sell and make a proift unless if the price just recover after buying. But more often those people who buy during the dip are those who are long-term traders.

And to ask which one is easier? That depends on your perspective but for me, I'd come to buy during the dip.

It's quite difficult, but for me personally, making profits.
I mean that making profits can be done every time we have a chance, in bearish or bullish, if we are consistent nd can read the graphic, at least we can take profits even small by small. We know that sometimes the price drops very immediately, but we have CL or SL feature to be used to minimize the loss and get another jump from trading other coins.
This may be very risky, trading is very risky, but we can continue by minimizing the risks with whatever that we want to be committed.
But sometimes, I am also holding some coins in order to hold, taking profits at higher prices.

That's true that don't buy when the market is bullish but not all the time. There are times that we can still profit even by buying the bullish price. Profits will now be based on how good we are selling it and make another buy. There are lots of factors why the coin is hyped. That's what we need to research to analyze if we will buy the bullish price of it or not.

That's true that don't buy when the market is bullish but not all the time. There are times that we can still profit even by buying the bullish price. Profits will now be based on how good we are selling it and make another buy. There are lots of factors why the coin is hyped. That's what we need to research to analyze if we will buy the bullish price of it or not.

There's no easier route here because there are so many factors in play. Even experts or experienced individuals can't give you the right way to do things here. They may give pieces of advice but don't expect that it will always be the right one. The crypto market is a very volatile one. So it is really hard to tell which one will give you profit. Especially if we are talking with thousands of alts. Because if you will ride the hype, you may end up on the losing side if the team decided to dump their holdings, whereas, if you will wait for the dip, how do you know if the coin will go up again? What if the dip will continue to go down and will not recover because the team decided to abandon their project?

If you are going to be talking about price correction, then you should be talking about when that price correction is going to take place. Now price correction usually takes place after a bull run, and if you are going to be investing at that time then you should be ready to wait for years for the price to go for another bull run again.

Check for example, 2017 we had a bull run, and after the bull run there was a price correction, and for us to see another uptrend like that again we had to wait for like four years or more than that, which is the last bull run that we saw happen in 2021.

For me, I would say that you should always try to take any opportunity you see, if during the uptrend you feel that there is an opportunity for you to make profit, then it’s best that you go ahead with it. And also when there is a price correction you can also invest if the price is at its lowest,and you are ready to hold for long term.

Every one loves to go with his own strategy because he feels better how to manage his funds, even mostly of peoples love to go with hype as it's works better than waiting for dip or take profit. Peoples those are in trading for some time they can understand about when hype is going in which side, so it's mostly works but experience is must in this case, and secondly it's not guarantee because you can lose as well this option always keep open for your all trades wide open.

Mostly now this works only with new projects because peoples have no idea about this all, and they try to take advantage through hype on solid and old projects, we have no benefit like this.

Although there is a chance that the market will turn back to bearish, however, with the sentiment that we currently experience it seems less to happen this year, and we're not sure if it also will come next year. if we just have a plan to invest, why not today? - Riding hype, IMO it is very risky, I personally am not kind of the high-risk taker by holding the hype coins. And so far, I prefer to trading top coins or coins that have high volume and market cap, not only about the hype.
- Waiting for the dip, well, this is not wise enough, we don't know when it will be a dip, the real dip. And when we have thought that we bought the coins in dip, but in fact, the price continues dropping, so which dip it will be?

The choices are multiple and it changes from one to other for sure but there is no particular strategy we can say that it will be profitable for us. Both for me is effective, NFTs is the best example if hypes. If we go with the flow and ride the hype you will gain more as the NFts it self is increasing its price higher and higher as the presence of the hype is there. In the otherhand, lets go to dip price buying. It is also a great strategy to make profit, its because when you bought the coin in dip you can buy coin in low price and when its pumped it was celabration as it double the price when bullish come and you bought that in lower price.
