If it's a project with usecase/utility, just take your entry at once. Even if it dips further after you've bought in, it will definitely rise back. No only truly knows where an actual dip is. Trading is a speculative business. As for me, riding the hype have the most risk of them two. Its better to buy the dip compare to riding the hype due to corrections that might happen. Aside from that, big opportunity comes to those who bought the lows rather than those who bought at the hype. Projects that have real life utility are the best ones to be bought in terms of red market. They eventually and proven to rise even without the hype unlike those meme coins out there. Projects like DeFi also has a place and those projects like GOMT who's trying to change how consumers of meat experiences.

None of them is easier. All of them come with risk. If one was easier than the other, everyone would be doing the "easy" one. You can ride the hype and make some quick profit. But there is also a high chance the hype may die sooner than anticipated or you have joined during the wrong time. You end up losing everything. And another thing, its easy to say "buy the dip, sell when its high". You won't know if have bought during the right dip. You never know if the price will go back up from the dip. Waiting until the price reaches the dip again, the logic behind the Market is buy low and sell high. Following hype might be deceptive and you might end up buying due to an over hyped token or coin and end up running on a straight loss except for some special coins or token but for new ones with good projects just buy low and sell high

Never forget that there is always a new drop after you drop but agree with you is to buy altcoins or bitcoins with a drop, just wait a few days or weeks to sell at a higher price. yeah active because most of us are now staying at home , we can now watch our porftolio more often and we can trade them if we get a good oppurtunity . having a frequent access to your portfolio makes it hard for you to hold for too long because your tempted to sell .

Just bear in mind that those choices also have their own share of risks that's why you need to study how the market lives and choose when is the best time for you to ride the bull or to buy/sell.

Great explanation, I guess most of us are brave enough as we like to play the hype, look at the market increment during the bull run, the trading volume would increase significantly and the price of crypto assets will also soar at the same time, it means that fresh money are coming in and the hype is very effective to cause a bull run.
