Website:
Code:
www.alpha-incomes.com
Archived: https://archive.is/VezTh
What happened: So-called cloud mining Ponzi Scheme.

As we already know all high return cloud mining is just a scam. Today I discovered this site called Alpha Incomes offering a high return on investment by purchasing a mining plan. I am wondering even a real miner can't earn this high amount within a day. They are offering 12% per day which is ridiculous.

Anyway, guys stay away from this kind of scam. Don't believe in cloud mining.

Most of these run because of the affiliates running the campaigns. Generic images and out of the world return rates should immediately raise the red flag.

About page has copied content from this site : https://cryptobrit.co/?a=cust&page=howto - Another scam cloud mining site.

It really does not even matter to the scamming running these sites even if they cant pay. They will keep running the site till innocent people keep giving them money even after they stop paying because nobody ratted them out. End of the day the ones getting scammed continuously are mostly older age tech non-savvy users.

I wasn't aware that there are still these kinds of scam tactics. I thought most scammers have turned into project-based and are just waiting to pull rugs underneath investors. Thanks for sharing, OP.

I hope they aren't able to scam people with that tactic. I think these will victimize the older generations who don't understand how it is to mine or what cryptocurrency in general is. I guess one convincing pitch towards them could lead to easy money for the scammers. Being able to educate the people who are prone to this is vital to the outlook of cryptocurrency. A lot of people indeed have been scammed by this similar tactic.

It will not stop as long as there are newbies who believe in every stuff and promise posted on the internet, as long as there are website designers who provide templates to scammers, and as long as there are recruiters who recruit people to these scams Ponzi Scheme, there are still people on the internet who do not know how Ponzi scheme works, we can only report and advice people who take time to do research for those who do not want to research, they will know after they are scam.

I'm the opposite, I know about this kind of thing but the thing that I wonder the most is that I can't believe that this kind of scams are still existing in the cyber space and people are still falling for it when it should be a general knowledge already or at least by now.

Still, there is. It's true everyday scammers coming with new tactics to scam innocent (greedy) people. But there are a few scammers who are using old tactics. It's because they just bought a template (likely for $10 less or more) and change the name logo. So scammers don't need to invest much to scam us. Whatever enters their pocket it's the profits of the scammer. The scammer just mixed Ponzi with cloud mining, so that they could gain trust from greedy people. I don't think someone who has basic knowledge about cryptocurrency will ever try their luck here.

I can't understand how such dumb scammers, who can't even do simple maths, manage to deceive others!
They didn't even take the time to make their investment plans more realistic or they are simply too stupid to do it the right way. Any investor, even if he has no experience in mining, should notice that there is something wrong with those numbers and that they don't add up.
For example, buying the second plan (professional) with any amount less than ~$1548, will bring you less profit (< $240) than buying the first plan (standard) for $1,000 and renewing it the next day ($120×2) and so on.
It just doesn't make sense.

That kind of attempt is fast moving scheme so its not surprising to see those errors since they don't care about those counting, the only thing they care is to lure people and convince them to invest a lot of money then do a quick exit scheme then create new the same website again. This old tricks is somehow effective to them even by now since unfortunately there are still newbies who didn't do a research and try to invest in this kind of scam platform.

I guess "rug pull" is the new buzz phrase everyone is using.  It'll be burned out within a few months, just like "mic drop".  You can always tell who the Youtube trend followers are by the words they use.

Nonetheless, this is definitely a Ponzi.  I don't know of any coin you could mine that would guarantee (which is what that site is doing) those kinds of returns, so there's nothing else to call it.

But OP, members here are well aware of the shady nature of cloud mining schemes, and this Alpha Incomes site isn't advertising on bitcointalk, so why the warning?  The only thing you're doing is giving them advertising, albeit bad advertising.  There might be suckers here who see this thread and decide they might want to try their luck.  I'd understand if they had an ANN thread or something, but they don't.

Good question. Supposed to be the link on the code, so no one can click the link. Regarding your concern about advertising, do you think the section of scam accusation is the place to advertise this kind of service? What else can we do if people invest in it from the warning post? Is there any way to save them? Investing from warning posts like a suicide attempt. The warning is necessary because once I use the search button of the forum about this domain, nothing is found. So if a user thinks to invest in that site and try to get reviews from the forum by using the search button then he won't get anything. But now, if anyone wants to find reviews by using the forum search button then he could discover this thread and will find all the warnings and discussion here. That's why this warning.

Still do you think the warning should consider advertising? I don't think so.

This is a mining ponzi scheme that always gives higher profits than the original mining, so I'm sure this is clearly a trick where novice investors are attracted to the daily profit offer.
This will be a trap, we are attracted, maybe at the beginning we will pay for it, after that the scamers will know what to do, usually run away and close the website that is the bait.
But if there are people who continue to have ponzi schemes like this, it means that there are still many who are interested, meaning they will become the next victim.

My close friends are always told that this kind of system is a scam.
