A number of sports stars were also interested in Crypto lately, such as Tennis Star Naomi Osaka openly interested in Dogecoin. The famous soccer player, Lionel Messi also received a part of his salary in the form of Crypto, namely the PSG Fansclub token. Previously, the NFL star Russel Okung also chose to receive half his salary at Bitcoin.

That's good. if in my opinion. means they support the use of crypto in many ways. because I am also a person who supports crypto and the free use of bitcoin yes, quite happy and proud knowing good news like that. and the good thing is that it can reach other people too ( their fans ).

Don't be fooled by stardom of these celebrities and athletes. Most of them are in it for the trend and the money. There are a lot of NBA stars tweeting about Dogecoin when Elon was happily messing around but look where it is now? I am not a fan of Fansclub token but they have exclusive market so I guess you can say it has a "use case".
We should not be deceived by there fame and them exclaiming that they are investing in a particular coin maybe this might be a form of advert for there followers and lovers to join the trail of investors that have invested in the coin to push the price higher. The celebrities are making there money and I would not be surprised if they are able to attract investors to will invest in more.

They bought something without having to bring money in my pocket.

It will be a good partnership between the two. We have both also seen there be projects with football sports platforms in cryptocurrency. And that's pretty much it. If the sports industry starts getting into cryptocurrencies this will be even more interesting.
I really support it. Almost everyone in the world likes sports. Every what is attached to the sportsman will definitely be liked by his fans. Including the use of labels about crytocurrency, fans will definitely like it. Especially if they recognize the world of Crypto.

Cryptocurrencies are growing for now, with so many sports stars or world stars starting to get involved in it, it's not by chance that this happened, they have predicted cryptocurrencies will grow and develop in the future, so this opportunity should be taken advantage of by anyone, if a world star have participated in taking part in cryptocurrencies, the chances of crypto success in the future will be very open, considering the number of fans or their fans who will join in it.

My view is that this is a revolution in crypto knowledge, so it's not limited to just buying and selling crypto. Yes, lately, there's been a lot of talk about this, especially on Twitter. On the other hand, if I may add, you can imagine that Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo also issued NFT on platforms such as the Binance Marketplace, what kind of excitement will happen, I think with the strength of the funds and the connection to the platform in question, I think it is not impossible.

I think this can be a good effect on the development of crypto assets that are used for their salary payments, because for sure it will be a new hype considering an athlete must have a lot of fans, then indirectly they promote cryptocurrency to many people and at least make more people who loves crypto.

All those team tokens never really made any sense to me. Can someone explain to me the idea of the team tokens?
What are they giving you? I mean aside from owning them for being a fan, what else could be the reason to buy something like that?
Sure it could be limited and then you could say that you own a limited token from your favorite club but that limit is not really that low neither, they go for a lot of money and usually do not get that much interest neither. If it was something like own a part of the club type of "share" logic then I would understand but you are just buying a token that has the name and it has nothing else going for it.
I personally believe that we should not be really getting involved all that much, I never owned any teams token so far and I am not planning on investing in any neither, maybe if I have some excess money one day and became rich, then I could do it for fun but never for profit making reasons.

We know how some fans can actually go crazy over this and follow the footsteps of their idols, this is good exposure for crypto, if big names like Messi, Osaka, decided to earn in Bitcoin, then a huge amount of their fanbase will also decide to invest in Bitcoin, that's how powerful they are.
I do also have a question about team tokens and how are they valuable? how do they work? will fans get any value from it? or is it just something exclusive that fans can get, something to brag about?

At least it is a good crypto advertisement among fans of these sportsmen, so it is good for crypto investors that there are newbies. As they increase demand following their idols and make the prices grow. Also I know that different sportsmen now tokenize their victories and then sell them as NFTs which is also interesting for fans, so celebrities make the crypto market more lively.

Indeed, it's good news for crypto community as now we have too many big names those are contributing with their own ways and spreading this around the world. But please beware of this fact as well that Bitcoin and Dogecoin both are decentralized coins working without any central authority and no individual handling this all just because of this many peoples using these coins for hype and personal profit. Good news for crypto as now many soccer clubs are working on their own currency and giving good contribution through different features, Juventus is really giant in this. NFT is also bringing some good contribution because many big sports person bringing their favourite movements in this way with their own way.

Crypto in sports has actually been around for a long time but not as popular as it is now possible with the high cost of Crypto when ATH at that time made some sports stars start to get in to get assets in Crypto and save them to be used as assets in the future and with the hype of some sports stars it can be ascertained that many stars others who will start to enter to invest in Crypto so as to have a fairly positive impact on the development of Crypto in the future.

I just found out now. However, I strongly support the development of Crypto so that it can enter all lines of people's lives. Cryptocurrency created as a solution to the complexity of conventional financial and banking transactions. By using Cryptocurrency, people can make transactions more quickly and practically.

Don't be fooled about these famous athletes that are into crypto lately because some of them are just being used to advertise the market. Some of them claim that they're interested but we don't know that they're just getting paid to make such statements. Instead just focus on the path that you have personally choosed, don't let them to make you think twice about the market you are in right now. Focus on what matters because in the end of the day you yourself will decide if you lose or make profits.

I'm not a problem when those all received or endorse of cryptocurrency even not breaking for rules of his country. They could make a benefit themself and people who invested the same as they mentioned. But it's nice that some athletes are open minds about cryptocurrency.
especially football athletes who endorsing bitcoin gambling in their costume. it is one of the right steps and can be useful for the crypto world, not only for the PSG club.
several football clubs do the same like PSG, such as manchester city, AC Milan, Barcelona and etc. but the problem (as far I know) those tokens only buying by supporters of each team. it is impossible for PSG supporters buying Barcelona tokens, right?.

It's a good outcome for the cryptocurrency world since some known people could be an influencer to cryptocurrency investments. I think even if they cannot earn profit, they have a little to lose since they have already many money out there and some of it they just keep it to crypto. And gladly they invest with top coins.

I doubt that Messi actually took too much in fan token, he probably got like a thousand dollars worth just for marketing purposes. Obviously PSG is a big club but their token is not that big, it is a small one and I doubt that they would actually gave those token owners governance rights at all, it is simply just a marketing thing for PSG to raise some funds and get some attention. If you research, you will realize that nobody actually gave the amount, we have no idea how much fan tokens Messi got, it could be simply just one token and they would be able to say "Messi took some of his salary in fan token" because it would technically be true. His 2-3 year salary is worth as much as the entire PSG fan token marketcap, I doubt he would be getting any serious amount there.

What you say is true, but in cases like this, I only saw the position of messi's transfer from barca to PSG and the development of the PSG token itself, this situation made the token more valuable at that time, although it did not last long, but at least the influence messi can give reasons why coins can go up fast, that's why soccer athletes have influence with many fans and can influence every action on the coin.
