Legalized Gambling where you live..where does it stand?

Okay, local websites are fully conquered by gambling companies, on every website you'll see a banner of casino. There are constantly casino advertisements in TVs and you'll see some in streets (at past there were a lot of banners but then the government decided to put limit and prohibit banners near to school, church, etc).
Casinos are making the most profit in this country. The highest percentage of our society gambles, almost every male teen and adult gambles, sportsbooks and slots are very, very popular there.

There are illegal casinos and illegal sportsbooks here because odds there are much much better. Like I am not even joking I recently saw a game with 1.5 odds in our legal one and 1.70 in the illegal one, that is a HUUUGE difference in the long run. I personally feel like the legal one gets all the attention only because people are afraid of getting caught and I wonder how much the illegal ones make from the gamblers.

Our official one made around 1 billion dollars in profit in 2020, it was a little higher than usual because it keeps growing bigger each year anyway and it was also start of the pandemic and people gambled as much as they can yet football wasn't around for too long. I assume that 2021 will be even more because there were football all the time including summer and it is another year so another growth.

Just normal that illegal gambling places or operators would be always prohibited and here on my place it isnt illegal and there are in fact casinos nearby on my place which does signify that they are allowing or had already legalized and its just understandable that there would be regulations needed for you to follow.Im aint surprised that there are people or gambling places that do

Bet365, William Hill, BetVictor and other top gambling websites are based in UK, so, yeah, gambling is legal there and UK is very successful in it. Also, there are some very famous gambling companies from it's neighbour country - Ireland, for example - Paddy Power that owns a lot of famous casinos in different country.

Btw places like the one that you mentioned exists in poor countries to gain more capital from tourists and boost their countries economics. Like here, illegal gambling is everywhere, even on a public areas before pandemic. When there's a Police Mobile doing some routine check, people will just go away making it nothing happened on that area. There are even illegal gambling here that becomes legal like cockfighting. The market of cockfighting here is so big even prior to the most hype online cockfighting. That gambling is legal if it will be done to the official arena. But for fights outside of it, that was consider illegal.

Gambling isn't that bad, for some it's just for entertainment and there's nothing wrong with it and luckily it's not an issue if you play gambling, just make it sure to be on the regulated platform, not on illegal. From Beta fish fighting, cockfighting even spiders they will hunt it at night just to make it fight in the day just to bet whoever wins. This is how the people in our country operate. not to mention the other type of local games with the involvement of money they're doing. Besides that, I think the government thinks that they can not get any "hot money" if they catch the smallest gambler playing traditional gambling games.
Those games are for fun and fill their free time, so the government does not investigate that activity.
Suppose there is a case related to the person or illegal activity such as drugs inside the traditional gambling games. In that case, the government will investigate and try to find out by asking the local gamblers.
I think those gambling games are not played every day so it could be okay if people play those games occasionally with their friends or community.
