If you want to hold long time,  I will suggest you buy some matic and xlm this tow coin have bright future because they have their own blockchain and exchange market also this two coin very cheap from others

Matic and XLM still look fine so far and it certainly wouldn't be wrong to have them until the bullrun market really comes around for all coins, but if it's just for the long term I think there's a very good selection of coins for everyone to have. and not just those two.

Alot of investors lost confidence in ADA because of the results after the fork as it shown negative results instead of going up upto the predicted value.. So don't expect more in it..  I suggest SOL or BNB because these projects still very optimistic and keep promising in the market.. And there's no doubts and its not surprising as well if they will make more good improvement in the future since these two crypto always makes hype than ADA if we will make a comparison..

It depends on what you are looking for from these two projects in the smart contract. ETH over the years since it was developed and made a successful stand, lots and many other projects has made it through by using the ETH smart contract network.
If we are looking at coins that are for the future and will survive over the years to come, ETH is one. It has gain the popularity, backers / supported. I will invest in ETH, BNB, EOS, BCH SOLANA etc, as coins that has good potentials of surviving the long run, I don't know how far SOLANA will stay, but I just feel like adding it. These are list for altcoins, on the main list, BTC will have to be there cause it stands as the head leader of the crypto market, which other altcoins respects and are influenced by it's price movement.

I can't say which one is the best among altcoins but considering their ranks will be something to tell their potentials and that is how choose coins to invest. Of course, we don't just think about quick returns as it wasn't measuring the potentiality of the project but it was how it improve while the days are running since we are looking for long-term investment.

I have the same experience with ADA, I'd never think that it went down as I never expecting it coz this project seems promising before but for now, it changes a lot maybe because of the competition.

If you want to gamble by choosing any altcoin, then i do recommend act wisely.
Choose the coin with high marketcap.
These are the coins that have more chances to give good profits in long term runs.
If you are seeking people’s suggestion, then go for some paid calls if possible.
I do say rather invest on ETH and LTC for long term.

Litecoin is a good old coin. It was ranked 3 coin in 2017's bullrun.  But during this bullrun, the movement of Litecoin is very low.  It seems that this coin is struggling to survive. I hope this coin will bring back its old tradition soon.

Right now I believe that ETH {Ethereum) is the best long term investment, but it costs quite expensive. Among chipper altcoins DOT and DOGE are nice. Still hold about 30 litecoin and I hope when bitcoin success break out right now above $62,000 litecoin can back again above $300, I loss much with litecoin because buy back when price still pump last three months, I think litecoin will be luke BNB and success raise to higher price but when bitcoin dump litecoin almost dump under $100 although now have wake up slowly.

I think ETH is the best investment. ETH is the best because it doesn't need to be sold because now there are a lot of places where it is applicable and in the future there will be even more such offers. In 2016 everyone moved dozens or even hundreds of ethers and it was not a lot of money. Ether is like oil that can be traded and it is convenient (in part it is).
