Can BTC hit 70k$ this Christmas?

There is always a chances that the bitcoin value will reach 70k$ to 80k$ this Christmas, I see that btc is now surge up to 35% in days they said it could be a positive reaction due to the encouraging words from US officials – Fed Chair Jerome Powell and SEC boss Gary Gensler – both of whom asserted that the country has no intentions to ban digital assets. If some big news will come the price will surely rise and it will reach 70k$ to 80k$.

I do agree with this. Looking at how awesome it is right now, then I feel like it is totally possible for bitcoin to have a great period once again in the future. We have a little time left but look at how high it got in 2 weeks, if it can get this high in 2 weeks then it means it could get so much higher until Christmas.

This is why I believe it will definitely have a great period and can reach 70k. However nothing is guaranteed in the crypto world, I believe that we are going to have a great increasing however that doesn't mean that it will happen, I just believe that it will happen because of what happened so far but it is definitely just a prediction, not something I know.

The $70k level as a target does not seem impossible to me. I'm saying this as I rely on the current great run we witness in the market. Bitcoin price reached even $55k and gave a big hope to us. Because the last time, it wasn't able to go above $52k. This time, we might see a level over $60k in a short time or at the end of this month in the worst case.

That’s true we are not able to surpass $52k before but now we almost reach the price of $60k so for me after this small correction Bitcoin will soar higher again and that $70k price becomes more possible.

Buy some now while it is still down, many are still bullish with Bitcoin simply because its attainable, and it can happen before the year end, this is my speculation and I’m working to buy some now.

Hundred thousand is a target everyone has in mind and once that crosses expect a huge correction as majority will be booking their profit. I am just having my pop corns and waiting to see how long this rally will last .

When we reach $100k, there will be a lot of sell orders that will come out and be filled so quick.

Wherever this rally takes us, the most patient will still win and those sellers that won't buy back will regret selling theirs.

Bitcoin could move in any direction. Right now the market is retesting the resistance breakout. Once again if the market breaks out the resistance barrier automatically it'll grow steep in a much shorter time period. Considering the ath value of bitcoin, $70k looks like an easy target to be reached. If the ongoing market trend continues there is possible chances for a big Christmas this year.

This pump really gives me high hopes that Bitcoin would reach a new ATH anytime soon but I am still doubtful because none of the past bull run ever did that if Bitcoin would actually going to break a new ATH within this year. Then that's the first time I might have to see in the long time history of Bitcoin.

For now, resistance has been tested yet it's still not sure where to go. Time will tell what it's gonna be that's going to happen in the future. Christmas day might not be a good choice if they want Bitcoin to reach a new ATH since most people of that time would be cashing out for holidays.

We got some sideways to possible pullback starting today, nothing massively negative in my opinion just part of the natural process and cycle to gains that is required for proper price development.



So price is edging below the 2 day average, some momentum is lost and profit taking out of the price reduces us slightly.    So long as we are above 50k on weekly closing bars then Iam offically bullish, the yellow line there is weekly average and far more important then just 2 day which is really just a trading aid or how I frame such things.   My negative target would be to pullback to 50k, perhaps even beyond because from experience when people despair or give up then we have a good tradable bottom in contention to consider.

With just a 70K target at Christmas while Bitcoin grows 20k USD with a period of 2 months? I think you should see the monthly chart instead focusing on shorter time frame. The only thing that slowing down Bitcoin price growth besides the increase of altcoin MC is the fear from China FUD. But this will overcome once ETF of Bitcoin finally approved by SEC. 70K is a short target EOY.

It's not impossible.

The bull market still has some gas left in the tank, although I am thinking that we're nearing bubble territory and a pullback is going to be likely warranted by the end of the year.

But markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent. $70k is not implausible given the hype right now, that's for sure.

This could happen well before Christmas. If the bull run is yet to come in this year then we should see 60-70K dollar bitcoin price in November and by the time of Christmas bitcoin could be well over the 100,000$. This will be the best Christmas and New Year celebrations, if it happens but no one is sure yet.

But I guess many people want to see the bitcoin price hit that price before the end of this year, so hopefully, that will happen in the next 2 months later.
Meanwhile, the price now seems stagnant and not moving higher or lower, giving us more time to accumulate more bitcoin before the price starts increasing.
If we already bought at the low price before and did not want to do anything, we can leave the market for a while and back in the next month or set the alarm to sound if the price increases or decreases for more.

Still we are in testing zone of 50k because quite a few hurdles while crossing it. So if can see it above more for a week and crosses 60k then yes we might be in for 70k by Christmas. But still I believe will not be easy unless some major booster comes in  from some country for bitcoin which can just add the fuel to the price.

The price of Bitcoin stood at $54+ now moving to $55,K at the same time just broken the resistance at $52K the next strong resistance is at $60K with reference to BTC/USD weekly time frame, I think once the price breaks the next resistance at the previous ATH which is $64K the price will reach $70K before Christmas coupled with the fact that the overall market sentiment is bullish, the price can only experience minor pullbacks as you rightly said, all these analysis is subject to non negative fundamental news that could mar the bullish trend of the price.

That's because most people are waiting for Bitcoin to hit $100k, if that price is reached, there will be a drastic decrease in the price of Bitcoin.
Because most people will sell their Bitcoins to get the long-awaited profit. I agree we managed to sell our Bitcoins at $100k, the next thing to do is
to buy back Bitcoin when the price has dropped. By doing so we will generate the following profit, because surely the price of Bitcoin will rise again.

We do.

And that's the end game for the others but they'll eventually realize that it's not the end game for bitcoin and there's likely none.

I guess no price is a problem in the bitcoin world, hitting 40k, hitting 70k, nothing is a big deal because if you are a long term trader then you are making profit in the long term anyway, it is rare to see bitcoin not profiting when you hold it for few years. However that also doesn't change the fact that there are short term traders, and if it doesn't reach highs constantly then it will become a big problem as well for those people.

I am not saying it is a good idea to make your decisions and profits based on very short term bitcoin movements, but there are those people out there. So, it is only a problem if you could hold your coins for a few months, not if you do it daily or not if you are long term investor.

I have next hurdle to pass as about 57282 which is the top end of a recovery from the peak to trough pricing in this year, after that its just the ATH to digest.    We continue above what appeared as a negative trend from the highs, 45k or above year end has us positive.   We may not any arbitrary target but even remaining in this area, drifting above that point is what I'd consider as a strong starting position for any future gains.
57.2k is about the Feb starting bar top price, we did sell from this point so I would conclude significant remains in passing this point.    Only trouble I see is a rising Dollar index with space for further gains, often upset or bad news will make this price spike and shake out many leveraged speculators as they invariably borrow dollars.

I think that Bitcoin price can really hit at least $70k by this Christmas. There is a very strong run now in the market as we all see. We have been waiting for a Golden Cross also and I wonder whether it has happened or not. Because when it happens, we know that the market should start being in a positive run or a bull market. I don't see a bull market now but the positive run nowadays started to make me thinking about this.
