have we all thought when everyone reads news everywhere about $100k, people will be careful when they touch it where they will go get profit before $100k, I think that is our main goal but people will be careful to take a step away before $100k, this news and analysis is already all over the place so I'm still wary about that anytime bitcoin is going down and the cautious people are going to walk away making a profit, but congrats on the new ATH

We are all just speculating here so it's not bad to take your profit if you have the chance. At least you earned if ever Bitcoin goes pump or dump either way you still have your profit and that's enough whether you hodl the rest for too long it's fine. It's not bad to be cautious since the market is volatile so we can't expect what people are speculating will happen, always reconsider the possibility that it might dump before attaining a $100k.

Actually this is ideal thing to do and never think about waste profit if the market still pumping since we need to think profit is profit since if we think more than that for sure we will end up become greedy and next to that will be bagholding or getting panic for certain correction will happen. Also after we get our capital back then we can decide to roll our profit or hold the amount we get then see if we will be lucky if bitcoin reach at $100k.

I think the fundamental thing that's affects the price of the market in the aspect of volatility is the market is a subject of speculation and manipulation. Moreso, the best thing to do this time is to take out the capital and some profit because I hear the end of the year is always bloody.

From my personal point of view, you are almost better off waiting too long than not long enough to sell.  When the bubble happens, you want to be riding that wave upward with everyone else.  The gains look great now, but if BTC shoots up to $450K you'll feel like a fool for selling and cashing in the gains.  The opposite could also happen and BTC could fall to $2K and you'd wish you had cashed it out, but I think the danger currently is missing out to the upside.  If people are unsure what to do, the right move when it comes to investing is almost always do nothing.  If doing nothing isn't your style, slowly cashing out on a schedule instead of all at once is not a bad option.

Well certain things happen like that but actually those manipulation attacks is just temporarily done and we can get a hint if some of big institution creates a fud just to disturb the market. And if people easily get afraid for the movements happening especially if the situation for the day is dumping then they should really take their capital first before anything else since its a perfect thing to do so that we will not get caught or get broke once the market collapsed.

I was about to say that, just surprising to see a massive jump in the last 24 hours, and now we are in the $65,300 and it's very close to the old all time high. Who knows, this week we might set a new high probably close to $68,000-$70,000.

And then the whole discussion about getting into the 6 digit range will heat up again. Specially the S2F model, wherein it might be on track again. So let's wait and look forward and optimistic that a new all time high will be achieved at the end of the week.

It's the FOMO about the taproot activation within this week the causes this spike in the last 24 hours.

So yes this is real again, not just some sort of manipulation from whales, but everyone is jumping on the bandwagon that the price might end at $93k this month.

And so for those s2f proponents, good thing that we have seen a good increase today to align to it's target of 6 figures at the end of this year.

Presently the price is approaching the last ATH at $66974 as it is now any moment from now the price will break the resistance at ATH thus the possibility of price hitting another ATH before the end of this month is very feasible going by the high volatility and momentum of the price. however reaching $100K before the end of this year is unsure probably after a new ATH there might be a correction based on the slang 'price history repeat itself' thus I agreed with you that price might hit $100K next year  provided that there is no negative fundamental news that might hinder the present bullish trend.

if the price breaks 67000$ then it will reach $75000 and if it breaks $75000 then it will reach $89000

I wonder: how do they know that $75000 is a resistance if the price never reached $75000?

Most people seem to think we could get up into the $80Ks  before we see the next large correction. I’m starting to wish I had a Bitcoin ticker for moments like this.

I have to say the approach has stopped and that type of stuff usually scares me. Not that I would sell or anything but I usually expect it to do a lot better in the long run and that is why I do not believe in short term moves making people react because it is just short term thing.

However I have to say the price skyrocketing high and then stopping just before breaking ATH proves that there is still a psychological warfare in the crypto world and that should matter a lot, I can't really emphasize on how much of a problem that is, but it is still a problem and we should be dealing with it in some sort of way. I do not know how long we could wait for it to break before our psychology breaks but if we can wait long enough then maybe we could win and get a new ATH.

The OP has updated the title of his thread with a new ATH already. So we don't need to argue as what is the current ATH as for sure it will be reset again in this month.

But I think we can't argue that it's good to see the price hitting ATH after last month. Strong hands are rejoicing for holding, while those weak hands who sold early are trying to get back in the market again.

$80k is not that easy goal, but for sure we can take it slowly.

So again, if the cycle continues then we have to wait for it to have a good bounce back after a week or two or at least leading to the actual date of the Taproot activation.

if according to coingecko the latest ATH $69,044.77 - Nov 10, 2021, and it seems that every time it reaches ATH, bitcoin will always correct again, and this is certainly a common thing.
bitcoin corrections will usually be made to make the jump to renewable ATH.
If we look at yesterday, it should be possible to achieve renewable ATH above $70K tomorrow.

CMC and CG are very important to be used as references that maybe we can use to just analyze the easy way to do it. because usually there will be visible movements that are always updated, which obviously we need to estimate which may not necessarily be accurate. at least there are alternative assistance that can be used, apart from what you said, if you already have other references that can be used, of course CMC / CG will be used as a comparison only.

clearly what bitcoin has to pass is at the price of $70K and the possibility that if you see an increase from yesterday it could happen tomorrow or if it misses the next few days. making it easier to climb even higher not even the $80K that bitcoin is trying to achieve.

A small correction is alright, that's what strengthens the growth, and as long as the market is still bullish, there's nothing to worry about as bounce back after correction is likely to happen and at the same time we can always be optimistic that a new ATH will be achieved soon. I'm already thinking of the $70k price, once we hit that price, I expect the pump will continue and it's possible that $100k will likely come before the end of the year.
