Hopefully, we will have GPS trackers (that can harvest energy from radiowaves: to perpetuate their autonomy) - smaller than a grain of sugar - inside our bodies, able to send signals to the internet.
Say that when you're going to be under a "The $5 wrench attack" when you lonely at your home !  Grin  Grin

But why the internet? why not just a simple personal system ?

Displaying or bragging about your assets publicly will only attract criminals. Some things should be kept in private for our own security and safety. Being low-key is the best thing to do so we could get rid of people with bad intentions. It's better to grind in silence than be boastful of our achievements.
this is a consequence that must be accepted when people who are showing off their assets indirectly there will be people who even target them for personal gain.
on the other hand this is indeed a careless move from an investor or trader, they will indeed look good in their environment and be labeled as successful people on the other hand it is like they are digging their own grave

Nowadays we need to be careful when publicly admitting to owning Bitcoin. A lot of crypto traders have been receiving threats as in the case of Daniel one of the guys from Chart Champions.

Things are escalating as, apparently, a 14-year-old kid from England got kidnapped after bragging on social media posts about having lots of money made from trading cryptocurrencies.

That's why I don't like anyone to know I'm in the Crypto business.
In my country not only criminal, but government who search people and ask for tax usually came too. I think people don't need to show his wealth because it can attract bad thing more than a good thing, it is good to do self reward, but maybe we should know if in social media, not only people around us but there are a lot of others that can see our life and we must protect our personal thing for ourself only.

This. Exactly this.

Its like walking down the street with a suitcase full with millions of dollars.

Some people really are way to naive and seem to be living in some fantasy world where everything is rainbows and nothing can go wrong. Bragging does nothing except give birth to jealousy and envy. Nobody is impressed by how much money you have, so why brag?

I’ve seen a lot of my crypto Facebook friends who are bragging about their exact Bitcoin (and other crypto) holdings in public. Some of them would even say “not to brag, but to inspire”. But of course me and the others can’t stop them from bragging, coz’ it’s their choice and they will be paying future consequences later on.

Like they are saying “All thanks to Bitcoin, crypto, etc., I’ve bought this land, house, car, etc.”, something like that. It makes them easy targets for criminals.

I also knew one Facebook friend (which actually just a social media friend and not a real life friend) who keep bragging about her earnings was victimized by a holdup. She was beaten and had bruises in her back. They took away her wallet and other important stuff.

It’s pure common sense that we should not be publicly disclosing our earnings on Bitcoin. Not just on BTC and other cryptos, but in any other way of earning. It’s better to stay low key as much as possible.

Your wealth is for you to have a better life. Not everyone should know how much you own. Especially in the case of Bitcoin, you should take care more.
