Of course tokens with high supply can easily place Coinmarketcap positions, as positions are taken on a capitalized basis.
If the token supply is high with little price change it will greatly affect the market capitalization. But if the number of tokens is on the exchange as a whole, will it increase the price of the token? I think that's hard to do. Price changes can be made easily if many hold tokens.

However, for coins that are often pumped and dumped by investors who have large capital such as SHIB coins, in my opinion, relying solely on the community will not be enough because how big the Shiba community is, of course, will not be able to move price movements in a short time when investors who have large capital throw away with that coin.
