Taking a close look at today's game against Nottingham, IMO, I think it still involved alot of struggle for man City to be able to claim the win. Nottingham were so unlucky -- Did y'all see those unhealthy number of times they shot on target, but hit the crossbars? They even had more chances to score more goals and win the game, but every one just came and misused. It's either the players are not cooperating, or the ball was delayed, or the shot wasn't given enough pressure to go through. Well deserve win for city anyway.

On paper, Manchester City are very much favourites to win the FA Cup, the trophy would certainly erase some of their disappointment this season. Crystal Palace should not be underestimated, they actually have the potential to create a surprise, like they did against Aston Villa. In my opinion, Pep Guardiola will not waste the opportunity, and it would be a beautiful gift to part with De Bruyne.

This is the luck of having a coach who has the idea to immediately rise from adversity. This season Manchester City is very inconsistent, they are slumping in the domestic league, even in the champions league they are not performing well but they still have the opportunity to get one title, namely the FA Cup. Man City managed to advance to the FA final after defeating Nottingham Forest, and this is the third year in a row they have entered the FA Final.

And now in the FA final they will face Crystal Palace, of course on paper Manchester City is superior to Crystal Palace so Manchester City will win the FA trophy easily. Glad it was you that said at the beginning of your post that Manchester city has a good squad depth, and that's something crystal palace don't have. Manchester city recently overturned a 2 goal lead and a premier league match against crystal palace 5:2. So I am banking on Manchester city to win Crystal palace. Manchester city lost last year FA cup final against Manchester United, something I don't think Pep will allow to happen to them the second time in succession. In a season where the FA cup represents their only chance of winning a silverware this season. Sometimes we are always surprised by weak teams, I don’t think anyone expected  crystal palace to win Aston villa in the FA cup, with the way Aston villa have been playing, I was even thinking the match will be a easy win for Aston villa, but the funniest part is that Aston villa lost in the match, and crystal palace scored 3 goals in the match, I was shocked that crystal palace score so many goals in the match, football is just full of surprises, and that’s what makes it interesting.

Indeed it was really unbelievable that Aston villa couldn't make it to the FA Cup final. after all their incredible performance against PSG in the champions league, they just gave up to Crystal palace just like that, even though with a huge amount of goals.
