They scored 4 goals in the first 27 minutes and there were no goals for the rest of the match. In matches that start so fast, it suddenly slows down and no goals are scored. This always seems very strange to me. Anyway, the important thing is to eliminate the opponent, and I understand that the teams don't push too hard. Arteta played most of his key players again. He showed that he valued this match and the cup. They gave Wigan no chance.
i actually expected Mikel Arteta to field a less quality team in their English FA Cup game against Wigan but it seems the Spanish manager is very much determined to win as many trophies as he's participating in this season which I think is a very entertaining thing for the Arsenal fans whose been enduring trophyless seasons in recent time. Wigan are known to be giant killers when it comes to the FA Cup competition but they didn't get the chance of stopping Arsenal in that game. Impressive result for Arsenal who has an EPL game to play this midweek.

I just believe it's unfair on Manchester city to be drawn against a Newcastle team that's very strong. I just believe that certain club like Arsenal are just being aided to make they keep competing in all competitions so they will stand the chance of winning something this season. Make it make sense that they played Wigan in the previous round now they are going to face even a weaker opponent in the next round. What happened to facing a premier league clubs? Manchester city faced Salford in previous round now they face a stronger side in the next round. Same should be applied to other clubs too.
Did you actually just type this? Do you even know how draws are made, or you just think a team of folks sits in an office and just creates the fixtures of the teams playing in the next round?

I am no fan of Arsenal, but your opinion is just bitter. Opponents are picked up through a random draw and nothing else. Manchester City should beat Newcastle United if they have a dream of winning FA this season.

Fifth rounds draw are already announced, it's going to be interesting as just Newcastle United is going to face Manchester City, mostly other big teams are having weaker opponents which will keep them in event for having big games in upcoming round and semifinals.

Liverpool will be visiting Wolves while Chelsea is going to visit Wrexham Premier league leaders will be Mansfield, these are big games after that Fulham will be hosting Southampton while Leeds United will face Norwich City, struggling West Ham is having challenge from Brentford, last pair is winner from Port Vale or Bristol City will host Sunderland.

My predicted teams for last eight are Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Leeds United, Manchester City, Fulham, Brentford and Sunderland, what are yours?

My prediction is the same as yours, as the opponents are very weak. The most interesting match is undoubtedly Newcastle United vs. Manchester City, as I predict it will be a tight contest since the FA Cup doesn't use a home-and-away format. For Manchester City, this tournament is crucial, as their only chances of winning a trophy this season seem to be the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. Yes, Manchester City still has a chance to win the Premier League title, but it seems unlikely given Arsenal's strong performance. Therefore, Manchester City will be giving their all in this tournament to win the trophy.
