That goal was so good to be true. I didn't expect that kind of goal to be scored in a final and funny enough, not more than 1 of such goal was scored.

Another game where Chelsea lack a clean finish or creating more chances. Although City was n9 different and seeing how they were playing, wasting chances I thought my team would have gotten an equalizer and maybe win the game but that wasn't the case.

Currently, Manchester City has won two titles this season the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. This is also a sweet record for Pep Guardiola during his decade at Manchester City. He has delivered a total of 20 trophies for the club, proving Manchester City success under Guardiola.

Interestingly, despite Manchester City poor performance this season especially in the Champions League and Premier League. They lost to teams like Bodo and even Feyenoord they still won the title another double and still have a chance in the Premier League, even if their chances are only 20%. You both sounding surprising about the boringness of this game despite it being a final cup game makes it more surprising to me than I had thought. I say this because I didn't think that anyone who has being following the EPL games throughout this year would expect that Chelsea would pull up some shocking resistance against Manchester City who are currently in a bigger form than Chelsea, same team that Arsenal in one of their best season couldn't win in the Carabao cup either. The only surprising aspect of the game for me was that it ended in a single goal victory for City, I did think only one goal was what we would be seeing in the game but that's it  congratulations to Manchester City for equaling Chelsea 8 times FA Cup cap.

The final was truly boring. I know that Chelsea don’t have any hope of winning, but I was not expecting to see them play that boring game. The game was just as expected, atleast Chelsea were supposed to put pressure on them, even if they know they can’t defeat them, but they didn’t even put effort. Could you believe for the entire first half they had no shot on target? Am very disappointed on Chelsea, although that is what we expect from them. Nevertheless, congratulations to Manchester city.

Stop using previous records to judge this match. Chelsea played beyond my expectations and they were able to defend and end the first half in a goalless draw. I didn't see any big stunts from Manchester City attack despite resting Haaland for this match. The first half is over and the second half will determine who wins the trophy.

I was expecting Manchester City to at least score a goal against Chelsea and take the lead in the first 45 minutes but that didn't happen as Chelsea played impressive in the first half and become a thorns on the flesh of Manchester City. I am totally surprised with Chelsea first half performance because I didn't expect them to play this good against Manchester City. If Manchester City doesn't improve their performance and pressure Chelsea defense in the second half they might lose the FA Cup to Chelsea.

A. Semenyo cleared way for Manchester and it was that lead took them to the winning goal. The matter what I was not afraid for Manchester City and I know very sure they would win Chelsea. This season is not for Chelsea and they might do well more than this in next season. Though they tried in the Match but Manchester City scored and maintained the goal till the end of the match.

When they played against Crystal Palace during the mid week games, he had a lot of players reserved for this very game. It was always going to be a tough game and a lot of persons would have hoped that, but some stroke of luck, Chelsea might find a way to lift a trophy this season but, Pep certainly isn’t about that. He’s got 2 trophies to his name and team now, the Carabao and the FA Cup. In a season that looked as though Manchester City would go without a trophy, they are the only team in England now that has got 2 trophies. Pep rebuilt his season in complete silence.

Even though they played badly in the league, Manchester City are a very strong team in winning the cup. After winning the EFL Cup, they also won the FA Cup. I don't know if this was Pep Guardiola's plan or not, but he has been very careful in the Premier League matches for this match. Although they have succeeded in the end, if they could have won the Premier League as well, they would not have been considered a failure of the season. But now we cannot call them a success of the season, because they have no big achievements in their basket. Chelsea have always shown such poor performance, which is why they are failing regularly.

I did not watch the game but  it seems that we should have figured that there is no way that Chelsea would have won that game there is no way that Manchester city would have lost that game because if Chelsea have scored then Manchester city would have equalize and even scored so there is no way out for Chelsea and pep is a smart man and we will not want anything to temper with his reputation and that is when I knew that Chelsea will not win anything against us.

The match was indeed a boring match but thanks there was a winner who deserved to win namely Manchester City. I never even had any expectation that Chelsea would win because they don't have that force to play Manchester City. Last season, Manchester City was denied the FA cup trophy by Crystal Palace but this season they took it very serious and won it, that is a good improvement on their side anyway. Lifting 2 trophies in England is not easy and we can't tell them to forget the Premier League yet because anything can still happen before the end of the season. It's not as if i don't want Arsenal to win the Premier League title but due to what has happened between them and Manchester City in the past has made me to entertain a double thought.

Second, it will be a good news seeing Xabi Alonso managing Chelsea because the performance of the team whether in this match or the previous ones is beyond expectations. The new coach needs to refresh the team and rebuild a solid one to stay competitive or end like Tottenham Hotspur.

Yes they kept up with City in terms of possession stats, but they were poor at creating chances, as if they were at a loss as to what to do once they had the ball. This match was not what I expected. But I was quite impressed with Semenyo single goal, a beautiful goal in my opinion. And congratulations to Man City for the win and it means they've got another trophy this season.

What has being conscious in the match saved Chelsea from. I can't remember when last Chelsea won against Manchester City. It has always being Chelsea playing defensive tactics than coming out openly to play against Manchester City. At the end of the very match, Chelsea would still lose.

Chelsea are using this FA cup final as their route to get back into Europe next season so you don’t expect them to sit back and watch Manchester City dismantle them easily. Chelsea will be the team that will make the most effort because they need to win this match more than Manchester City need it, even though city need the trophy. Also Manchester City just played few days ago while Chelsea has had over a week rest, so it’s expected they will be more fluent in the match.

Chelsea really played like the people who want to use the FA Cup to secure an Europa league football next season and they tried so hard to win Manchester City in the FA Cup final and achieve their aim but their best wasn't enough to give them the win they were looking for.
