Boring match I almost slept off while watching the match, but thanks I won my bet as expected those that saw my post on this thread before the match started saw that I said Manchester City will win if you followed by prediction and bet on Manchester City to win congratulations on your win, I did not enjoy the match.
Congratulations to Manchester City they are doing very well but they should now forget the premier league title because it belongs to Arsenal .
When the season started Manchester City was not performing well and I never believed they would end up lifting 2 trophies.

I don't necessarily think that match was boring, sometimes people see low scoring matches as boring but in today's fixture, I saw two sides that wanted to win, even when Man City got there first goal, we could clearly see that they were striving to get a second hence creating some chances for Chelsea which they could not utilize, of not for Enzo Fernades missed ball, the match could have ended 1-1

Congratulations to Manchester City they did very well in this match but I was expecting Chelsea to win, I expected them to put up a good fight and then win the match, anyway they really tried but they didn’t do well, Chelsea needs a very good manager that will come in and change the team, they have good players all they need is a good manager, look at Manchester United now they are doing well because of their wonderful manager, if Chelsea should sign a good manager they will start performing better. Manchester City are doing well and they may end up lifting the premier league trophy because Arsenal always make a mistake.

Fabrizio Romano has just reported that Xabi Alonso will be Chelsea’s manager, and I think that could be a good start for Chelsea to turn things around in  the next season. Chelsea didn’t actually play that badly in the final , but they  certainly didn’t perform as well as Man City, and it seems their rhythm was rather  monotonous tonight. Now they have hope again for next season,  as Xabi Alonso may well be able to bring about a change, though Chelsea might not qualify for European competition next season.

Congratulations to Man City on their second trophy of the season. It may not have been  their best season,  but those two trophies are still something to be proud of. So if Arsenal can secure a clean  sweep of victories, Man City will fail to secure a third trophy , but at least they will have given it their all

Low scoring games isn’t exactly a boring match especially when it’s a title deciding match. Finals usually ends with as little goal as possible or even goes to the penalties. However, there is some thrill that comes with watching 2 attacking teams scoring goals and getting replies for each goal, it’s usually very interesting. Not so much for a final though.

Today’s Chelsea 0:1 Manchester City wasn’t a boring game. Both sides understood what it would mean to be looking for an equalizer and how it could get worst to be chasing a 2 goal lead. Chelsea once more had to loss in the face of a trophy.

First congratulations for Manchester City the victory. It was expected since they are facing one of the worst teams in these weeks in Premier League. There is nothing left to save for Chelsea this season, they just have to plan for the next one.
Second, it will be a good news seeing Xabi Alonso managing Chelsea because the performance of the team whether in this match or the previous ones is beyond expectations. The new coach needs to refresh the team and rebuild a solid one to stay competitive or end like Tottenham Hotspur.

That's right, and I wouldn't even classify this Chelsea vs Manchester City game wasn't really that boring and even without much goals it was really an interesting game. I love the way Chelsea played even without a proper coach yet, they managed to still put a good fight. If it be with a good coach they would have clearly played better.

Finals are not usually filled with goals, both teams mostly play it safer so they don't lose easily, they are being careful and that's what happened in this final, it was just so unfortunate that Chelsea lost with just a goal but I must say they played well better than I expected, they just lacked something up front, no much threat.

Since it’s a final game, you don’t expect that dominance form Manchester City because they are avoiding any mistake, because in matches like this, any team that have the opportunity to take the lead, they usually defend it till the last minute that’s why finals are games that are been played with full cautions because any mistake count.

I wanted Chelsea to win this final so that they can use that path to play in the Europa League next season because they are not in the top eight to make it to the Europa League, but as they have lost to Manchester City now, I think they can be serious to win their next two matches to at least secure a space for themselves in the Europa League or the conference league because they don’t have any hope of playing in the champions league next season.

Alonso have a lot of work to do if he join Chelsea, they need to sign players for Alonso in order to make the team great again, but I will like the Chelsea management to give some time to rebuild the team.

Chelsea signing Xabi Alonso is a nice one for the team, I believe there will be improvement in Chelsea performance by next season, what Chelsea management should now is to allow him sign some players which he believes will help him improve the teams performance. Chelsea still have some quality players, they just need to strengthen some of their position. Chelsea lost to Manchester city today, I expected many goals from Manchester city, but they were able to score just a goal in the match, congrats to Manchester city for winning the FA cup, they now going to focus on their last two premier league matches. I wasn’t so happy with today’s match officiating, Chelsea were cheated today, because there are some fouls that the referee ignored which would have changed things for Chelsea.

In this comment of yours, I think I will use the case of Manchester United and how the players have transformed all of a sudden. Manchester United had similar problems with player performance and it was agreed at a certain period of the season that almost all the players in Manchester United too were not good enough and those same players now are doing exceptionally well all because of the change in management so I feel the same thing can also happen to Chelsea if the settings are right

You are correct, I remember when Manchester United players struggled to score goals not until the arrival of Michael Carrick everything changed. If Chelsea management decides to make changes in the team then changing the manager will not be that difficult since they have the money to spend. The current Chelsea manager will take them back to 17th position if he's to remain in the team for next season it's better they bring in Xabi Alonso before it's too late.

It's not basketball so there's always a thrill when there are goals in football matches because we don't usually get much goals so the thrill is always desire. For instance, Many will argue that the PSG 5-4 Bayern 9-goal match was the best match across Europe top leagues this season. It was because of the number of goals that was scored even though both teams are at elite level.

The Chelsea vs City game is a reminder of how finals usually are. It's not usually a goal fest because most teams try to be very defensive. That's why the Argentina vs France World Cup final is still considered to be the best world cup final in recent times.

This your explanation is definitely coming from after the goal by Antoine Semenyo since immediately after that goal the both teams were hunting for goals as it was an end to end counter with chances falling for Enzo, Pedro Neto on the Chelsea side and then two great chances for Nico O’Riley to square for Halaand and also a selfish run by Cherki too, other than this nothing else aside the claimed controversials like Nico hand ball which was correctly ruled not penalty, before this period the entire game was so boring that Chelsea actually was controlling the game in the first half more. Aside this the first 70 minutes was seriously boring for a cup final.

Yes this season they actually were scoring more but seriously under Amorim they were still struggling to score and conceding more because they actually were able to score just 17 goals and conceded 22 goals in 20 games while they conceded 16 and scored 29 goals under Carrick in just around 14 games. So this is an improvement than under Amorim most especially to players like Cunha and Sesko

I didn’t watch the game, because I knew it wasn’t going to be a very interesting game, i wasn’t expecting Chelsea to play anything because I know they’re not a very good team like people would think, most big games in England are always over hyped, just like this particular game it was over hyped because of the two teams involved, when you check the Premier League table and you’re seeing Chelsea in the 9th Position you shouldn’t be expecting them to play any good football.

Chelsea should’ve focused on scoring a clear goal and stop looking for penalty that Cole Palmer will want to play, Chelsea should be more focused on getting themselves back to winning ways next season and just forget about winning any trophy, there is no Europe for them, which should be a blessing to themselves to build a proper team.

I completely understand why you were never interested in watching the FA Cup final that was played by Manchester City and Chelsea, but I want to tell you for free that the FA Cup final didn't play out the way you were expecting; the FA Cup final was so interesting to watch as it was filled with tensions and it went down to how a final should be, both teams played very well and they were pressing so hard to score a goal and give themselves the advantage to win the FA Cup, but Manchester City was lucky enough to find Chelsea's net in the 72nd minute which they defended till the referee blow the final whistle and they won the FA Cup.

Agreed, this game could  easily have been misinterpreted having to be boring but looking at the form of both team's.. I think credit goes to Chelsea who really tried to contain Manchester City from getting the ball behind the net.. because even the goal Samenyo got was kind of unexpected 😅 but a goal is a goal , and it was Citehs Faye to win this one too, better next time team Chelsea.

Yes you are correct, Chelsea tried their best to make sure that they win the trophy but they were just unlucky and Manchester City was more lucky in that match that was why they were able to win the match, I felt so bad for Chelsea, I really wanted them to lift the trophy.
