New to mining. I cleaned my antminer S9 with compressed air as the previous owner had not done it in a long time. After that I booted it up and now have 0 hash power. I'll post my kernel log. Anyone have an idea what's going on? It was working fine (just running a little hot which is why I cleaned it) before the cleaning.

Try to replug them again and maybe one of them didn't plug properly and make sure heatsink are not touching each other or other hashboard.

If not try to test them one by one and check which one is the culprit then focus on that hashboard. You can follow the guide from here "Test Hashboard one by one"

Thanks for the reply. I tried testing them all one by one. I have one hash board that seems to not work. I get a red light on the board after the system boots up. Any idea what would cause this after blowing it out? It was working fine before just running hot due to the large amount of accumulated dust.

Try to check that hashboard physically and maybe the PCB sensor might be full of dust since you just blow the dust with compressed air the dust from some parts didn't remove instead it triggered and show some false signal.

Look for PCB sensor and other parts with dust then try to brush them to remove the dust.
Check this post below to find the PCB temp sensor.

If this is a different issue you should make your own thread.
Anyway, It might be just a false signal try to reset your miner by holding IPreport button for 15 seconds then release.

What did you use to blow them? what kind of compressed air are you talking about? if the pressure is too strong it could damage some components, especially if you placed the tool very close to the hashboard.

Can anyone tell why this problem happens?

Please start your own topic so we all can focus on one thing at a time, what you doing isn't helping anyone including yourself.
