Well I’m back, you probably remember me from starting Bitcoin7.com which was the first Bitcoin exchange ever to exist that didn’t turn out to be a complete scam. Anyway, I remember 2009 like it was yesterday, we all were a part of this forum, downloaded the original Bitcoin wallet and were mining 300 BTC an hour with our 1-Core CPU’s.

The reason for this thread is to shed some light on what’s currently going on with the Bitcoin ecosystem, the multiple branch-chain offsets of the original BTC and Satoshi’s whitepaper. So if you are still an advocate for the digital currency we all wanted to be a success but no one really knew how we were going to get there, I want to ask if you were ever able to get your Bitcoins out of Mt.Gox after that Russian hack?

Register here to schedule an upcoming live session for an interview if you want to get paid in Bitcoin for helping me build my new upcoming exchange:

we all were a part of this forum
And yet you just signed up on this forum!

There is, as it has always been only one "branch" of bitcoin, its consensus rules, its blockchain and one whitepaper.

You wanted this "digital currency" to succeed and yet you stored it with a third party?!

Why not you first tell us about how you succeeded recover 22 bitcoins. Is it the whole amount you had in MT Gox?
According to cryptoassetrecovery, those who registered a claim before October 22, 2018 will be able to recover some of their assets. However, a Russian law firm confirmed that it will be able to recover only 25 of the lost account and that it will get a portion from that account as fee.
Honestly, you are the first i know who claim recovering from hacked MT Gox.

Why don't you use just your old Bitcoin7 account, and can you please provide some evidence that you are the same owner of that acount?
If you don't do that I will consider that you are just lying and making up stories like many people did before you.
I don't know why but I have a funny feeling that we are going to hear some digital cash bch-bsv propaganda from you soon.

Wanna share us the transaction where you recovered your 22 BTC? Otherwise, I have a strong feeling same as dkbit98's.

This exchange is long gone and they'd said they got ripped off. Really, how did they return them to you? Did you log in their website? Nah, it's closed since 2014. Did you send them an email and they responded? Or you just woke up and saw an incoming transaction of 22 BTC?

Nah! I don't think so. I believe there could be forum members here who are well loaded with BTC but are keeping a low profile. This forum provides more than what the outside world offers in relation to cryptos and those who value cryptos and we're registered here in the past hardly leave except where they have escalated issues with other members of the forum.

Howbeit, I believe the OP is just trolling. It's an unbelievable story that an exchange that couldn't return Bitcoin of that quantity when price was low would want to do that now that price is hitting the roof, literarily. It's unbelievable.

Dude, please allow people to live with their privacy and ask for information as much as they are willing to share. That would make the place better in my opinion. Why would he be sharing the tx link? You are sponsored by ChipMixer which promotes privacy while you are asking people to leak their privacy. I also don't believe any basless claiming but who cares? It's not important to say what he just said is true or not.
Regarding the mt-gox BTC return-

Any payout is expected to be a fraction of the original amounts held by creditors, after taking in account the lost coins.

Privacy has nothing to do with question I asked, and I never asked him to make any transaction proof, but there is something fishy about him and history of Bitcoin7.com in this forum.
All I asked him is to provide proof that he is the owner of Bitcoin7 forum account and not some imposter, because anyone can claim that he is Satoshi Nakamoto or anyone else.

Nope, just saying hi. Was the Tether and BitFinex owner mystery solved? Were they the same group and were they manipulating market conditions or was that an entire lie?
That is fine, but I will consider you as imposter and a liar from now on.
Have a nice day and enjoy your 22 fake bitcoins  Cheesy

I may seemed attacking, but I didn't really expect a transaction id. I know they're lying and preferred to deride their post by adding these rhetorical questions. As for awareness of privacy, do you know any folks who'll state they got 22 BTC, but will be cautious of their movements?

I find it mocking to create a new account, say this and expect some serious discussion. I believe that I responded accordingly to their druthers.

Well I’m back, you probably remember me from starting Bitcoin7.com which was the first Bitcoin exchange ever to exist that didn’t turn out to be a complete scam.

Not a complete scam you say, so 5000 BTC disappeared by some inexplicable miracle? If it's really you, then you have the wrong idea that people have forgotten your dirty work, history has remembered you as a scammer.

The exchange now appears to be for sale:

Here's a snapshot of how it looked before:
http://web.archive.org/web/20110816000324/https://bitcoin7.com/

Here's it advertised for sale on flippa.com
https://flippa.com/2999232-bitcoin-exchange-ready-to-launch-immediately-multi-currency-14-languages

Considering the very shady history of this exchange, anyone wanting to buy it should really do a code review.

As you know, much of the text on the exchange was blatantly ripped directly off Tradehill at the time

They claim that the 5K BTC stolen was not because of site being compromized, but an insider job.

So to me this looks very shady, both the unethical action about copying text directly off the Tradehill website, and the theft of these bitcoins.

Not saying this is a basket of rotten eggs, but some code review would be wise..

Edit: Perhaps move this to service discussion forum as well.

You wouldn't be here if you had 22 BTC.  Cheesy

You'd be off buying Yachts and Mansions and Bugatis etc.

Speaking of Bugatti, they say the cheapest model costs about $1.7 million, and 22 BTC = $1.32 million - not to mention how much a luxury yacht or villa in a luxury location costs. While it seems like a lot, 22 BTC is not a fortune that has the same value anywhere in the world.

Your response to Op was kinda attacking to be honest. This is very likely that they are lying but I think we shouldn't ask them for private info to verify. It will not make any difference if he tells lie and doesn't provide proof. I hope you got my post.

On the contrary. If he is claiming something, which may have an impact on the community, then it is perfectly acceptable for us to ask for proof.
If he argues that the community should recognize him as the founder of Bitcoin7.com, he needs to substantiate that statement with evidence. Otherwise, we shouldn't trust him whatever he says.

I was the owner of the original, original Bitcoin7 exchange. Before it was hacked, even back then I was using cold wallets to store all of user funds. Fortunately I was able to return everyone's currency with no issues, which would is worth billions today. We peaked around 60,000 - 77,000 users in 2009 running on basic APACHE. Dare I say it, I made a lot of people very rich, especially if they've HODL'ed. After my exchange was hacked I was discouraged to continue and went back to developing websites and applications, so I sold the exchange. What they did with it after, I could care less.

This is as much proof as Craig Wright can show to prove he's SN. All you said is publicly available information (and should I mention that everyone here knows that whoever's been hodling for +10 years is now rich AF?), so it's no legit proof.

If you want to follow along and read the emails I send once a week to my subscribers you can here:

I'm old school and still have the tendency to give like 0.0000138 Bitcoin once a week to readers if you're lucky. You have to promise to open my emails though or you're disqualified.

I'm old school and still have the tendency to give like 0.0000138 Bitcoin once a week to readers if you're lucky. You have to promise to open my emails though or you're disqualified.

You are the same as not saying anything in this forum other than making people curious. Of course this especially triggers those who are also victims of mtgox to contact you personally. And now you provide a link (which I don't see that proves anything).

Now please tell me, is the site some kind of consulting gateway?? If I put my email there, will you then contact me to guide me to get my lost BTC?  I'm not saying you're a scammer, but that's a scammer's scheme fyi.

This space for rent.

topic creator is BS
trying to win instant fame by pretending to be someone else
then advertising a service..

oh and yea bitcoin was invented in 2009 but this forum was not really popular until 2010

oh and no one was getting 300btc an hour. because only one person could get 50btc a block and the same person was not getting every block each hour.

nice try deceiving people. but your story has more holes then swiss cheese.
and thats without poking holes into the MTgox coins you pretend to have got.

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

If you have really been on this platform, then what happened to your old account? because I can clearly see that you’re making use of a newbie account. Would have been better and also made you seem trustworthy if you were making use of an account that has a higher rank in the forum. Using a newbie account is going to make people not to trust you, and if you look through the comments you are already going to be seeing that by now.

If you did really recover your 22 BTC why didn't you use your old account instead of creating an account? Also, you could share a transaction id to confirm that you really got your coins back. However, it doesn't matter for me and I hope you enjoy your coins if you are the guy you lost and recovered 22 btc. By the way, if I lose this much and recover that in one day I would not waste my time by typing a new topic on the forum but I would take some time to find better and more luxurious entertainment for myself with my friends. Anyways, I'm happy for you if you really got your coins back.

You do understand 22 btc is just a little over a million usd. Not sure you could buy all that with 22 btc.

Glad to see someone else on this forum with at least half a brain.
And by the way you never talked about what happened between you and Mt.Gox and how you got back the 22 BTC that you lost due to the hack. Your topic stated that you got back your BTC, and I was expecting you to tell a story or explanation on that, but it happened that you are just promoting an exchange which I believe you are the owner and wants to launch it. But, this is not a way to introduce your exchange to this community.

Thanks for all of the replies and showing support. It's been a long journey and we're still only in the stages of infancy. I talk more about it on my email list since a lot of people have been taking an interest on how I started one of the first exchanges with over 70,000 users and we were trading 100,000 Bitcoin daily volume. I talk about what happened with Mt.Gox which was a competitor of ours at the time and how they got hacked, they also did thorough investigations on who had coins on their exchange and were able to return them if you had ever a very slight proof of documentation. I was fortunate enough to have conversations on Skype saved on my desktop and screenshots, along with my previous login ID and password which allowed them to access my account and return my BTC.

It's all on my subscribers list if you're interested you can read about it I won't be typing it all up again it's too long but it was a hell of a ride.

WARNING to everyone that OP today edited his first post and added registration link for some new ''exchange'' but in reality he is just getting you email address and then he is sending you junk emails.
I used temp email to research what he is actually doing because I had some suspicion about him since his first post, and I will show you full content of email he sent me after registration.
It has nothing to do with any exchange or Bitcoin but he is just selling some ClickFunnels crap, and very first title of his email tells you that this is the most important email you will ever read  Roll Eyes

This Is The Most Important Email You'll Ever Read

Hello,
My name is Kano and you just subscribed to my email list which means I’ll send you an email once in a while, and don’t worry I’m not the type to send you anything more than once.

My father and mother ran away from an authoritative regime who was determined on taking over the government in the Philippines before I could walk, let alone read or write. My father was able to steal a small boat at a prestigious marina with a tiny rutter and we used that to sail across the Atlantic when I was only 2-months of age. My mother was held in captivity by what are known as the “Corsair de la Rue” which was a local French regime trying to take control over the agricultural industry and government in the Philippines. My older brother and sister were lost in the city of Manila which is the capital city of the Philippines who were 21 and 13 years old respectively before they disappeared. I wasn’t old enough to ever have a chance to speak a word to them, or remember them so I can’t say more, but my father talks about them all of the time. It’s something I still mourn over to this day, and it’s a burden that I don’t think will ever be lifted off my shoulder.

It took 3 months to sail from the Philippines, across the Atlantic through violent winds and sea storms until we landed on the shores of Vancouver Island in Canada in a small city called Campbell River. My father tells me that it was the most difficult time of his life and that he had to deal with an incomprehensible amount of pain and suffering due to losing his family. But with me by his side, or being carried on his shoulders, he continued with just a glimmer of hope to make life just enough to be worth waking up.

Due to the catastrophic nature of what was happening in the Philippines, the falling apart of the government and the Dis-abandonment of families from the conflict that was going on, my father wanted to make the right decisions and start off on the right foot just to save my life, so he was very strict on becoming a Canadian citizen and abiding by the sovereign and historic nature, laws and processes that made the country so great. Fortunate with their acceptance and willingness to help those in need, I was able to get a citizenship after 5 years of calling one of the great lands of the world, my home. My father was a Pianist, we slept mostly outside in the blistering cold throughout my infancy and childhood. He would leave me with caretakers while he played in local restaurants and bars during evenings, collecting paychecks just enough to feed me, while he went to school during the day to study and have a background in financial literacy.

Regardless of those atrocious circumstances, I grew up as a normal child, went through school, did my chores, minded my manners and learned the value of hard work. Due to the strenuous amount of pain and suffering I had to endure, I was able to take that negative energy, develop a strong attitude and resilience and became to understand what I knew later on as exceling in academics. By the age of 12, I was taking applied sciences, physics and had already started an entry level college course on algebraic equations. At the age of 17, I had more experience in computers and being on the internet than most adults do across the span of their lifetime. It isn’t hard to put the pieces together to figure out I would be making a lot of money through cash flow generating business models I had studied about on my bus rides to school.

I want to share what I learned so you don’t have to go through the same mistakes I did, skip the headaches and get right to the place you need to be successful. Like how my father had to sail across the Atlantic with me as a child on his shoulder with nothing but a dream.

I’m going to give you 14-days to try out the secret I’m using that cost $millions just to put together. It's called How to make $17,947 per day with ClickFunnels.

In my view, the OP is a guy/lady who uses a catchy topic to get attention and hoping to gain subscribers in the process.
If you want subscribers, there are better ways of doing that. You can use Google to get paid services that will meet your needs after all you seem willing to pay some cents per week, you don't have to spam this forum with unprovable claims.

This story smells fishy, how are you a newbie in this forum when you've known about bitcoin for a long time already? I mean you should some way know about this forum because Satoshi founded this to replace the previous website and not a lot of people who are into bitcoin doesn't know this site. Plus, you would be giving us proof that you've got 22 bitcoins in your possession. Mt. Gox returning what they've stolen is unheard of, at least for me.

I'll be working on a new exchange in the meantime since I've started to take an new interest in cryptocurrency.

You better be keeping yourself busy on it instead of trolling here. This will bring you nowhere. You are not yet promoting your exchange but you are already being distrusted by a lot of users here. How do you think your exchange be accepted here if you yourself seem not worth trusting?

If you were the person you claimed to be, you should have just kept it to yourself and start creating a fresh personality. But it seems you are just stealing another person's identity for your personal motives.

So you completely ignore #dkbit98 (Legendary Member) warning post and just continue posting as if nothing has happened. If this was posted in my thread, I would have jumped on it.. to explain my side of the story.

In any way, your Exchange was hacked back in the day ...so why should people trust your new project? Most of these supposed hacks was inside jobs and MtGox was just as suspicious.  Angry

Register here to schedule an upcoming live session for an interview if you want to get paid in Bitcoin for helping me build my new upcoming exchange:
https://kanokano.gr8.com/

It's kinda sus when someone just got 22 btc and invited other people with just created newbie account.
I don't have negative mind but in cryptocurrency we have to double or triple our awareness for something smells not good.
I hope no people will get scam for the second time and this is legit, because it's too sadistic targeting people who already have been hacked to be scammed one more time  Undecided

Look the image that was posted was for an live training presentation by Brunson:
https://event.webinarjam.com/register/37/57l37i3z

It's something I've been learning to be a better in email communications. There's the concept of sending valuable information whether a video, book, pdf whatever you think would benefit the reader and using that as a means to build rapport. Now I'm totally new to this build an audience, send an email once a week when you have something important to say, but no one ever got good at something without practice or exercising what they were doing.

You can check it out so you know I'm not full of chit.

Until now all you've proven is that you have the potential to benefit (financially) from those stories you started with.
Until now you should have understood that until proven, all those things you said are "science fiction", but you still didn't prove anything.
You may lure some newbies here and there, but with this kind of start it may take even longer to actually build the reputation you aim for. However, it's your choice.

Until now you didn't give any reason to anyone to believe you. (And of course, for now I also don't believe you.)

Obviously the community here is not as supportive and friendly towards one another as it once was back in 2009. Which makes sense, Bitcoin was more exciting back then, by every sense of imagination. Thinking back on it, everyone was more interested in the fundamentals of the technology instead of the market potential. Now it's become some evangelist, archetype, hierarchy control, rebellion anarchist sensation where people forgot what we were trying to build in the beginning. What the hell is Bitcoin Cash and all these other branches, soft-fork, hard-fork. IMO Bitcoin would have been at $1m a coin by now if you didn't desecrate Satoshi's original vision. Totally threw off the brand and potential for a singular widely adopted digital currency. Way too complicated now the technology is dead. I'm moving on.

Is Ver going to distribute the free coins from forking if he is praised?
If Gox sent back your 22BTC then good. You can celebrate, you don't need the emails of the users here to celebrate that. Yep moving on is the way to go.
If you really have the passion to share valuable information, the forum is meant for it. Share it with the forum users. Don't ask for emails.

Look the only reason I added my email list is because you asked about what I went through. I'm not going to re-write it out or make a video specifically for this forum, if you're interested go ahead no one's stopping you. You can read my emails sent from Kano and you either like it or you don't. But guess what, Bitcoin is here to stay. We can all agree on that, it's not going anywhere at least for a while. China banned cryptocurrency mining and is it a hazard to be running mining farms around the world that are contributing to global energy consumption? Without a doubt...

This is stuff you probably already know or run into at least once a week as Bitcoin weekly digest subscriber, but it's what I like to talk about and I'm sure there's at least one of you that share the same views. Yeah, I think the  Bitcoin forks were a huge mistake. And probably the whole mining thing isn't good for the environment, and as more countries find the inherent and apparent problems of Bitcoin and similar virtual currencies, they'll begin to dislike it more and more. Is it truly anonymous to send and receive Bitcoin? Not entirely since the ledger is published and it's not hard to follow where coins go once they go into a wallet address, so there's obviously a lot of innovation that needs to be done but forks were not the best approach in my opinion.

Can't we have a civilized conversation instead of attacking one another? That's not how you talk to people man.. You don't just start pointing flaws or trying to pick apart someone just because they're trying to have a conversation.

What do you think about this song?

Can't we have a civilized conversation instead of attacking one another? That's not how you talk to people man.. You don't just start pointing flaws or trying to pick apart someone just because they're trying to have a conversation.

The aim of pointing out the flaws is to help you see what you should fix.
There's one saying where I live: "when two different people tells you you're drunk, you better go and get some sleep". Unfortunately for you, I'm at least the third one telling that you're not doing it right. ...And it's still you the one claiming that I'm "attacking you".

I've seen too many stories here. And unless proven, I read them like... novels. Yours is not different. And even more, it turns more and more into something that can affect (in a bad way) those who may believe you.
Until now I didn't support the flag against you because I somehow hoped... I don't know what. But you've convinced me I should wait no longer.

Can't we have a civilized conversation instead of attacking one another?

We can have a normal conversation, just as we have right to express our opinions.
My opinion is that you are an ordinary troll trying to get attention to sell or just advertise something. Just because I don't see any other reason why you would open this thread.

..

You probably can't explain how exactly is Mt.Gox from the OP related to all of your exposition here?
you still haven't posted any evidence or confirmation that it is indeed true what you claim in the first post. You started with a fabrication to get subscribers to the newsletter and promoted an empty website.
don't you think it all discredits you?

You're wrong. Bitcoin is a global monetary system function independent of any central monetary authority and is based on blockchain technology. The blockchain is a record-keeping system that makes it impossible to reverse, change, delete, or manipulate the data once recorded. All the transactional data recorded are duplicated and distributed across the computer systems network that supports the bitcoin blockchain connected through peer-to-peer nodes.

Therefore, making it a fully immutable and trustless system. In other words, it’s completely unhackable, tamper-proof, and one has to trust nobody to complete the transaction in the system.

You described Blockchain perfectly well and I totally agree with you.
However, I don't care if the transaction is real or not, because I believe it is. My point is whether the words written here are true or not and this can be confirmed by signing a message from the address with 54.7 BTC from MtGox.

However, I don't care if the transaction is real or not, because I believe it is. My point is whether the words written here are true or not and this can be confirmed by signing a message from the address with 54.7 BTC from MtGox.

Look I wish I knew who Satoshi Nakamoto is so I could share it with you, but the identity of the person or persons who created the technology is still a mystery. Bitcoin offers the promise of lower transaction fees than traditional online payment mechanisms and is operated by a decentralized authority, unlike government-issued currencies.

There are no physical bitcoins, only balances kept on a public ledger that everyone has transparent access to, that – along with all Bitcoin transactions – is verified by a massive amount of computing power. Bitcoins are not issued or backed by any banks or governments, nor are individual bitcoins valuable as a commodity. Despite it not being legal tender, Bitcoin charts high on popularity, and has triggered the launch of hundreds of other virtual currencies collectively referred to as Ripple. Etc.

Bitcoin is powered by a technology called a blockchain. To understand Bitcoin, you must understand a little bit about the technology in order to make a wise choice for your investment strategy.

A blockchain is a public database that shows all transactions, with user privacy protected by “cryptography”.

There are many types of blockchains, and many types of coins.

Since Bitcoin was created, there have been hundreds of more coins brought to the market, many of which are cheaper, faster, and more efficient.

For example, Litecoin processes at 56 transactions per second. Newer faster blockchains like EOS can process hundreds of thousands of transactions per second.

In terms of utility, Bitcoin only processes 7 transactions per second.

So you may be wondering, why is the price of Bitcoin so high?

There are lots of reasons, such as the fact that it was the first coin, it has brand recognition, and you can use to buy services on some internet websites.

But other coins like Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash are catching up.

Dear KanoKano,

Here, sovie asks another member to provide them a signed message of the address they've stated they got 54.7 BTC:
Congratulations! Could you please show the address to which you received the return and sign a message. Then I would be happy to celebrate it with you. Unfortunately, but without such proof, I can only presume that you are telling the truth. I hope that you understand me?

Here, you say that sovie is wrong and then you explain them what's Bitcoin while that's off-topic:
You're wrong. Bitcoin is a global monetary system function independent of any central monetary authority and is based on blockchain technology. The blockchain is a record-keeping system that makes it impossible to reverse, change, delete, or manipulate the data once recorded. All the transactional data recorded are duplicated and distributed across the computer systems network that supports the bitcoin blockchain connected through peer-to-peer nodes.

Therefore, making it a fully immutable and trustless system. In other words, it’s completely unhackable, tamper-proof, and one has to trust nobody to complete the transaction in the system.

Here, sovie repeats that they want to verify onceuponatime's sayings and that your reply wasn't related with the topic.
You described Blockchain perfectly well and I totally agree with you.
However, I don't care if the transaction is real or not, because I believe it is. My point is whether the words written here are true or not and this can be confirmed by signing a message from the address with 54.7 BTC from MtGox.

And here, you reply by stating that you don't know who's Satoshi Nakamoto and that bitcoins aren't physical:
Look I wish I knew who Satoshi Nakamoto is so I could share it with you [...]

There are no physical bitcoins [...]

Focus.

You've also left unsettled the post of dkbit98, where he exposes yourself.

Dear KanoKano,
...
Focus.

Thank you for your help in explaining this, because I already thought that I don't know what's going on and I'm speaking in some other language.

I meant exactly how you described it. But I don't know if it still has any meaning ..  Roll Eyes

"Bet on your favorite sports and esports using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on 1xBit. Quick registration. Welcome bonuses."  1xBit.com is one of the bitcoin betting sites where everyone can earn bitcoins. Okay I'll take a wild guess, you sign up and you automatically get Bitcoins deposited into your wallet am I right?

Looks like you've been away from this forum for a really long time. What you see in my signature is a casino advertisement. I take part in a promotional campaign (Signature Campaign) for which I get payment in BTC for my activity on Bitcointalk. You can read about the details here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5367666.0

The truth is that, depending on your plan, bitcoin may be either an investment or a gamble. If you're buying cryptocurrency with the express intention of becoming wealthy overnight, you're gambling. However, if you honestly feel that Bitcoin is the way of the future and that it will be there for decades, purchasing it now may be considered an investment.

It's preferable to take a long-term strategic approach to investing, regardless of where you decide to put your money. Don't buy something you won't be able to hold for at least a few years, if not decades. In the short term, cryptocurrency is incredibly volatile. However, if you believe in its potential, you may make a lot of money if it succeeds.

Even if you're investing in generally safe areas, there will always be some risk involved. However, becoming a successful investor necessitates taking measured and educated risks, and cryptocurrency is no exception.

Investing your life wealth in cryptocurrencies is unquestionably a risk. There are, however, methods for investing in Bitcoin in a more measured and secure manner.

You wouldn't be here if you had 22 BTC.  Cheesy

You'd be off buying Yachts and Mansions and Bugatis etc.

 Cheesy

Imagine thinking that someone would have over a million dollars invested in an asset and then not follow it's development.

It's always really weird to me when people think that if someone has some money then they must be out spending it.  That's just not how being rich works...

I was once given great advice about people.  Here it is...

If you need money, don't ask a rich man.  He didn't get rich giving away money.  Ask a poor man.  He will give you the shirt off his back.
If you need help, don't ask someone with nothing to do.  They do nothing.  Ask a busy person.  They will always find time to do a job.

I repeat this advice only to say that if someone has 22 BTC today, they have no desire to spend it on yachts.  It is clear their motivation was never about the money in the first place or they would have cashed out long ago.  You have to have a passion for Bitcoin and a desire to help change the world for the better to be holding at this point.  Otherwise you probably spent all your Bitcoin and are mad at whoever accepted it as payment to deflect from your own personal responsibility.

As for mtgox...  No, obviously nobody has gotten their money back yet.  Although it does look like Q2 of next year is a possibility.

<...>

The truth is, I sensed something fishy about your posts. As it turns out, my suspicions were well-founded.
