I’m just kind of curious how many people around here have been around long enough to have spoken to Satoshi, and what your experience was like. I am just fascinated about the whole thing. It’s beyond amazing Satoshi is still anonymous, so it makes me wonder what he was like when speaking with them. I’m guessing not too many people here were around for those days. This is one thing I’ve always wanted to hear Theymos talk about. Imagine having helped Satoshi build bitcoin, having private messages etc…what an experience!
So far most of the people that I have seen who were said to have worked with Satoshi Nakamoto back then when he was still active, none of them have said to know who he is. They only got to chat with him, shared mails and never got to see who it was that they were chatting with. Moreover, it also amazes me that in a time like this, Satoshi Nakamoto was able to maintain his privacy, even till today and nobody has really found out who he is. It seems like he really took his time and drew a proper plan on how he was going to cover his tracks and maintain privacy until he has finished his work. And that’s really cool. The way I see it, if he revealed his identity back then at the earlier time, then bitcoin might not have been a success.

Even if all btc adopters wonna reward Satoshi for giving them BTC, he has went anonymous ever since and nobody knows him or know where he is talk less of talking to him. I will say, anybody saying that they're Satoshi are not Satoshi because nobody is Satoshi.

Over the years, I have had countless Satoshi impersonators try to con me into something or other. Almost always, they are immediately recognizable just because they act like they imagine a demigod would act. The Satoshi everyone has in their heads is a symbol, a character in a story where a superhuman mysteriously appears, does magic, and then mysteriously disappears. This symbol is not reflective of any real person who has ever existed, so impersonators' attempts are usually laughably bad. Before and after Satoshi uploaded code or posted or sent PMs, he ate, drank, slept, worried, paid bills, etc. I'm sure at some point he got sick and puked his guts out. I'm sure he had fears and regrets. He was the same sort of flesh as you and I. But the Satoshi people know is not this real person, and is instead a "historical figure", which is to say that a small handful of things that the real person did and said have been diluted into the cultural milieu to produce an imaginary character whose existence aligns with what we want or expect of such a character in the context of the broader narrative. If someone condensed a few of your most notable quotes and accomplishments into a few paragraphs in a history book, selected and worded to align with the overall themes of that book, how much of "you" would that represent? I didn't know Satoshi on any sort of personal level, so I'm not particularly saying that people "have him all wrong": I'm just generally very dismissive of the idea that anyone is superhuman. See my Satoshi's Lesson article, which has the same theme. It's important to recognize that there is no wall separating people like you and "notable" people. If you believe that there is, then you create that wall, and thereby imprison yourself. I liked dealing with Satoshi when I did (which wasn't all that often), and I respected him a great deal. He had an incredible amount of "arrogance" in the sense that he saw seemingly-impossible challenges and believed (correctly) that he could conquer them, but yet he had zero arrogance in the commonly-understood sense. He was willing to give help to and accept help from people who knew and accomplished far less than him on the whole. He treated even me with respect, even though I was a 19-year-old excessively-individualistic idiot in 2010. I tend to remember Satoshi as a person who figured out what needed to be done, used all of his aptitude to get it done, and rarely got distracted by human failings like pride or fear. (Of course, this perception may well be more of a symbol in my head than an accurate image of a real person.)

I ma only speaking to Satoshi in my daydreaming, even I don't know who is Satoshi. But that was past time ago, I really want to say, Hi Satoshi, give me more Bitcoins freely. That was funny and stupid daydreaming happened when I really needed money at that time. And of course, this is only a daydreaming and will not happen. And for what we are talking to? Old members here could only speak with Satoshi by the user here, not from mouth by mouth, face to face, because we don't know who the real Satoshi, and what is it. And is that important to think about? Focus only in what we are doing right now and inn the future.

Fortunately Satoshi still have an account here in bitcointalk so if you earnestly want to talk to him you can send him message though He may not reply you because the last time He was active was December 13, 2010, 04:45:41 PM.

I always wanted to hear more about Satoshi but directly from those who have dealt with Satoshi directly and you are one of those. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. " He was the same sort of flesh as you and I" hahaha so that's another proof he was a real person not a team not a group but actually human being made out of flesh, a good flesh because he's been sitting on this big thrown of +1 million BTC (worth ~$73 billion) and he did not try to visit space and he did not try to build a colony on MARS. Let it be anonymous, let it be a superhero, let it be a perception a symbol for the future. No, not you Mr. Craig Wright not you .

Satoshi Nakamoto is unknown for nearly all of the people in the world now. Maybe there are some people who really know who Satoshi is. But maybe we will even never find out about it. We don't know Satoshi's identity and it is not even known whether Satoshi is a person or some sort of a group. I bet that most people in the world think that Satoshi is a person, not anything else. Satoshi nakamoto can be human or spirit because since i follow the forum no body have said with assurance that he has spoken to Satoshi before, i support you is unknown to every body who are here, it is when the forum started in 2009 and 2010 when Satoshi usually discuss in bitcoin discussion and project development section but for long time no body have seen he to the forum again, i believe people that is position to talk about Satoshi is the head's of the forum global moderators and staffs

Am I the only one who finds amussing the idea of satoshi using a Newbie account to participate in a discreet way and lurk to see if his beloved community is behaving and has evolved the way he wanted it to?
I don’t think he’s got time for this but I can imagine how great it would be if one day we realise he’s one of our forum members, and we’ve been interacting with him all this while.

I wonder if anyone here has ever done that and knows his identity, as we know that his identity is very secret, it's better that way to avoid unwanted things. I've read the news that there are some people claiming to be Satoshi and I find that funny. how could it not, Satoshi had been missing for a long time and he easily revealed himself, this doesn't make sense. although most likely Satoshi still following the development of Bitcoin and other cryptos. It's not an easy thing to find Satoshi and I don't think we need to interfere in that matter.

Satoshi has done well to the world economy by eliminating unemployment and poverty from the societies. I have seen many articles about Satoshi and how many people where laughing at him based on the decision he took to create bitcoin for humanity purpose, so that there will not be errors in transactions or delay in transaction. I have never spoke to Satoshi but am really enjoying his good work he has created for young people like me to enjoy and to become somebody in the future. I love Satoshi

Very few people actually interact with the owner of id number 3 on this forum, I never had a chance to do so as he has only been active for more than 1 year since registration. Theymos described him as arrogant, but not arrogant in the general sense. I really believe that he exists, but he wants better privacy as someone who offers privacy for his intellectual work "bitcoin".for long time now, i am always thinking that one of us here is Satoshi specially those mining and TA experts? i sometimes try to think that this account or that account is satoshi alt account. Satoshi had 526 posts during his time, 55% of which were on Development & Technical Discussion boards while 26% were on bitcoin discussion. You can see the distribution of satoshi's posts in the image below is more complete, he's more likely to be a developer than a miner even though he's capable of it.

I agree with what you said. no one can explain who he really is until now and indeed when I saw several articles and other news I only found a few different speculations so far. and until now I really don't really think about who he is because even if I meet people or groups who are really satoshi I might not even be able to speak. but indeed I just want to say thank you for what he made and his discovery is the best in my opinion

Satoshi's identity will remain a secret that will never be solved. If there is someone who continues to claim to be the inventor of bitcoin or as a satoshi, perhaps he is too fascinated with bitcoin technology, even claiming to have the private key of a satoshi private wallet. no one can reveal who satoshi is, let it remain a secret behind bitcoin.

I am also very impressed with satoshi, he/she is truly anonymous and not even tempted by the recognition of this world if he/she shows his/her true self to the world. people who claim to be satoshi are just those who chase their names recorded in world history, but satoshi is not tempted by that, if i can chat with satoshi then i will have no more regrets in this life lol.
