I’m just kind of curious how many people around here have been around long enough to have spoken to Satoshi, and what your experience was like. I am just fascinated about the whole thing. It’s beyond amazing Satoshi is still anonymous, so it makes me wonder what he was like when speaking with them. I’m guessing not too many people here were around for those days. This is one thing I’ve always wanted to hear Theymos talk about. Imagine having helped Satoshi build bitcoin, having private messages etc…what an experience!

Even Theymos doesn't know the identity. He have helped through the forum. Even now he might be around the forum with some other name going through different discussion taking place about the future of bitcoin. Some might've participated on random discussions, but never thought of Satoshi being this genius. More users of his time weren't active on the forum.

To the best of my knowledge, Theymos actually had closer contact with Satoshi. However, only in relation to this Forum and Bitcoin... Satoshi is also the one who started this forum. His profile is the "User ID # 3". The first real user profile on bitcointalk! Because "User ID # 2" does not exist and "User ID #1" is an admin account that is not used. Whether Satoshi has ever met with someone properly, I can not imagine. I think this has always been through chats and forum posts. There are also some other forum users who have been around since the beginning, and have actively helped Satoshi in the further development around Bitcoin. But I don't think anyone really got to know him privately. Satoshi saw himself only as a mean to an end....

Adam Back is Satoshi. I plan on doing a write-up about this.
I hate to post something like this without all the evidence, but Satoshi actually wasn't that good at keeping his identity a secret.

your wasting your time. he is not he pretends to be and gets his friends to hint that he is. but he isnt he is the parrellel of CSW.. a wanna satoshi. adam back has not tried to go full CSW, but he has tried to lay out some hints via his friends that he could be, ultimately to pretend his blockstream company owns bitcoins but ultimately the truth is, he is not satoshi. the person that invented bitcoin took many idea's from many people. not in some active consultation group. but more of a patch work of idea's from different people from the 1990's to 2008. and the person that is satoshi patched them together into a unique and inventive and inspiring form. one of these patches was adam backs idea, like many other peoples ideas. but adam back was not involved in bitcoin nor were the others.. adam didnt know his idea was being used until satoshi contacted him to inform him his idea was being referenced as a part of bitcoin after satoshi already put the pieces together adams idea is not bitcoin. nor was it much unique. bitcoin could have still been invented if satoshi referenced another persons similar idea. (principles of hashcash were not unique to adam back)

I'm pretty sure like only 0.0001% of Bitcointalk's userbase has somewhat interacted with the Satoshi account, and they've probably already stopped using Bitcointalk as it's arguable that there are better places like Twitter to be talking about Bitcoin; or the fact that they're too rich now to actually care lol.

If we still have the users who were part of this community on its early stage, I'm sure 1 or 2 of them talk to Satoshi and didn't think that he will disappear and never be seen in the forum after 10 years because if they knew, they would have asked him so many things before he decided to stay in the unknown by disappearing. It would be added to history if someone here post some conversations between him and Satoshi.

I feel this person is just another Craig, does he have some solid proof to prove that he is definitely Satoshi? Because if not then you're wasting time doing an article about this person, I mean almost anyone can claim to be Satoshi, it's just a matter of how persistent and pathological of a liar you are to convince the world that you are what you claim you are. Regarding, talking to Satoshi though, I feel like there's not a lot of active users that have done some communication with Satoshi, I think it's a big honor if you've received a PM from him but the closest thing that I think has happened is the thread discussions.

The CEO of a parasitic centralized company and an advertiser of centralized shitcoins including scams can not be Satoshi Nakamoto on principle. Not to mention that it has already been debunked years ago despite some people still wanting to push this agenda.

Well if the original people who were talking to satoshi were all on mailing lists and on forums like this one (which I guess was modern for the time) then I highly doubt they are on Twitter where it looks rubbish and noisy. In my imagination these guys are on other super deep web layers talking to each other on encrypted channels that look just like cypherpunk forums of the old days.

No so many would come up with this that they have interaction with the original creator of the Bitcoin when he was active on the forum before completely vanishing and going off radar to becoming one of the most exciting mystery that has been unlocked for years. As said above @theymos or some high rank members who are early bitcoin contributors might have a word with him but not many on the forum got this opportunity. But still we know everything about his creation bitcoin.

Not every single person that somewhat interacted with Satoshi on Bitcointalk is anonymous, and the likes of Gavin Andresen, Jeff Garzik, Dan Larimer, and even the late Hal Finney himself are on Twitter. Also, the quality of your Twitter feed highly depends on who you follow. So if you see rubbish, then you're probably following rubbish peeps.

yes, I indeed spoke to Satoshi many times and asked him about his plan to reveal his identity to the world! In my dreams, obviously! On a serious note, I don't think anyone here knows his/her real identity. I know Hal Finney had a contact with him during the initial days of bitcoin, but I doubt he knows the identity of Satoshi to be honest! He had few email conversations with Satoshi but the real identity is not known. Satoshi is not a stupid man, whoever is in touch with him, is unaware of his real identity. The contact was through emails only!

I'm definitely following more rubbish people than good people, and a lot of it is also because I followed rubbish ICOs in the past. And also I haven't updated any of my social media for about 2 years because it gets noisy. Much more peaceful to read on this forum. I do check every now and then but twitter does show me the most popular posts and it can be hard to ignore that rubbish posts are the more popular ones at certain times.

It's just either you clean your following, or create a new Twitter account for you to have a clean slate. Quick tip: Definitely don't follow the "influencers" if you don't want rubbish. Instead, follow the devs and the builders!

I do not think that by creating such a topic and question today, we will see many new faces. Any newcomer who claims to have known Satoshi is perceived as a troll and a liar. If some old member of this forum tells about an acquaintance, then I am sure that he too will be subjected to massive mistrust and harsh interrogation. Therefore, it seems to me that everyone who knew and communicated with Satoshi told about this for a long time, and it is naive to think that today we will meet the "dinosaur" of the forum, about which no one knows anything yet.

For some reason I think that there's none people who actually had interaction with Satoshi left out here, I might be wrong though, but come on, they all should have probably have their own companies by now

If we take for example this thread from 2010 - Proof-of-work difficulty increasing ,only 4-5 people who then discussed with Satoshi are active today or were active this year. I am just fascinated about the whole thing. It’s beyond amazing Satoshi is still anonymous, so it makes me wonder what he was like when speaking with them. I’m guessing not too many people here were around for those days. This is one thing I’ve always wanted to hear Theymos talk about. It would have been a special experience for sure, but Satoshi was just a man, not some supernatural being with special powers. If Satoshi is still alive and reading this forum, I think he is amazed that people are still so obsessed with him, even more than with Bitcoin sometimes.

Satoshi is a very anonymous man on this planet wherien no one can find him if someone wants to give a rewards for creating bitcoin. And for sure only people who claim their self "the only one satoshi" were can be found in the internet even in public places.. Lol For me it's very impossible now to locate that real creator, because if he has intention to display his real information probably it already happened at the first place that bitcoin become a very first successful decentralized asset around the world.. But that man wants a quite and peaceful life.

Adam Back is Satoshi. I plan on doing a write-up about this.
I hate to post something like this without all the evidence
I doubt that you can come with a proper evidence. However, you can ask nicely Adam Back to sign a message that, amongst other things contains the date of signing and his name. Of course, signed with one of known "Satoshi addresses". I’m just kind of curious how many people around here have been around long enough to have spoken to Satoshi
Maybe not spoken, but discussed on the forum - there may be a few, but I doubt that they're still active here, they have their businesses now. Hence, instead of asking here, maybe you can gather a list of users from the early topics. it makes me wonder what he was like when speaking with them
Really? Most probably those who knew him as Satoshi have never spoken with him face-to-face, instead they've used forum(s) or e-mail(s).
