Accidentally send ETH to ETC on yobit.

Hope everyone is well,

Well as the title states I was careless enough to send ETH to ETC address on my yobit account back in 2018 I checked the addy and its still there but in saying that support never answered my ticket and still hasnt replied to a new one i created which is no surprise.

Just checking in really and seeing if anyone had any luck with this issue specifically or knew of a way to go about it now? Only seeing that ETH is the price it is and it was .95 aswell of it lol.

I don't know if the user is a Yobit shill but the next comments (2017-2018) from other users aren't looking good.

I'm afraid you have dealing in scam site so expect nothing in return , they even take money in legal investing so what about yours that mistakenly
sent a currency in different address, you have just given them a Bonus amount from your own mistakes.

Your funds will never be back in your account that is one thing for sure.

Yobit's support will never give you answer regarding your problem. They will not care about that. I have an account with a few ethereums got banned without any reason and i gave up to sent ticket to get a solution for my problem. Even if you're giving pressure through telegroup and you will be banned in seconds

To be honest it can be recovered by yobit coz yobit owner the privatekey. May be this case was too old but it's worth to take a look. Your ethereum can be tracked by yobit easily but the problem is in yobit itself as the owner of this scam exchange site was a scammer. Yobit will never wanna recover your ethereum.

Yobit is one of the exchanges with the worst customer support you can ever come across. In the last 3-4years, they had their reputation go from bad to worse, and I don't think they care about their reputation at this moment in time. It's already fucked anyway.

Sorry to say this, but I don't think they might help you recover that money.

Just want to make something clear, yobit is not really a scam exchange but they are shady with their ponzi schemes and promoting shit coins to make money but here the mistake done by the user and yobit will have terms against it so its their choice whether to return it or not but 99% it never likely to be returned.

You know that Yobit is a centralized exchange which simply means that you dont possess the keys which means they are the only ones who could really make out some retrieval
but knowing the reputation of Yobit its then its a mehhhh.

Dont expect that they would help you out yet they dont ever answer out complaint tickets or support which do really sucks big time.

As far as I know since 2017 yobit exchange never response in any of the issue concerning about this kind of a problem to some
of their users over this platform. Just one thing for sure is that you already learned from your mistakes isn't that right?
at least now you have a lesson to learn where you can share to others who try to use yobit exchange.

there is a very tiny chance that you will get your funds back , though some exchange helps their user when scenario like this happens yet we must not put Yobit into that helpful one because they have a very bad reputation over the years , so just expect nothing to come your way from this as it is clearly your mistake and not theirs .

It'll take you forever from contacting them OP. Well, before the bull run it seems not that much but as you see the price of ETH goes up, this makes you more interested in contacting them.

But sadly, there's been a lot of series that yobit isn't friendly with such concerns. There could be successful attempts and they've been given help from other members but, there were more frustrations, and didn't get any help from such mistakes and funds retrieval.

What makes you think that they will start caring after 3 years?

YoBit is all well and good until you make a mistake. Then it will take you an eternity to try to recoup your funds.

I think that you can certainly continue to pressure their support and hopefully they will cave in, but given the lack of regulatory oversight for them what makes you think they will just give up $5k to you?

sorry but you will never take back your funds, i have similar case back in 2019 when a friend have the same mistake and until now after 2 years of asking the support He receive nothing in response so let us make this as experience to not happen again.

Even when the fault from Yobit sides, they will not care about the many complaints from users, moreover if it's the user's fault sides. This is the crypto world we don't really care about when the price is cheap but will be regret a few years later the see the price grow.

Forget it if there is a problem with yobit and indeed if it is the fault of the user of course there will be no response at all, so for me yobit is a very annoying exchange.
If the OP wants ETH back due to the wrong send to the ETC wallet, I don't think it's possible what can be done, especially since this case has been around for several years before.
