Omnicron wasn't as bad as the delta variant though, but for safety precautions, Japan closed its borders for safety precautions as omnicron variant that time wasn't known at all or its effects if transmitted. If he can give GGG a good fight then good for us boxing fans, but I still not seeing him winning over GGG. And at 160 lbs GGG is almost unbeatable, of course except Canelo. And hopefully before GGG retires, we can see the 3rd fight, to settle things and there is no 'what if' upon his retirement.

It will only be settled if the right will not end up with controversy again, so I think it's not gonna happen anymore as Canelo is also not sure if he can beat GGG as he tried twice already but he can't put the man down. Both will fight their own fights, and if they keep winning, that's enough for them to consider as one of the best fighters in their generation.

But with the current version of Canelo? and then GGG maybe fading as he is in 40's? I think Canelo should go for him and proved once and for all that he beat GGG fair and square. But we goes on the record saying that he is no longer interested so that is a open book for us boxing fans. Canelo though will end as of the best boxers of our era and GGG on the top 3 of the best middleweights of all time.
