Bitcoin all time high this year is only $69,044, just a few dollars to reached it to $70k but unfortunately it didn't happen but it's okay because with the situation we are in now is the best to buy and hold it for the upcoming bull run probably early 1st quarter next year, let's just appreciate for now of how great bitcoin did us this year.

Wrong , Bitcoin did not ever reached 70 till this very moment , instead almost 69,000 is the highest or the ATH now.

But like you and majority of the posters , I am also satisfied in how much climbing Bitcoin did this year alone.
Imagine multiple ATH had been recorded since the first quarter and also each quarter there are new record of ATH .
i think that if we may pass this December , the following years again will make a  great increase .

In my opinion, we can say with certainty that 2021 was very successful for Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market. It's a pity that BTC didn't reach our dream $100k, but I'm sure it will happen sooner or later. Everyone here will be much happier when they see BTC hits its next ATH in the same year. If previously people predicted the end of 2021 was the peak of bitcoin (ATH) rise, then today it seems they are starting to realize that they are in a bearish phase (correction).

It takes optimism when it comes to investing, but I just emphasize that never ignore the risk of volatility. Institutional investors can do anything with their funds because they put bitcoin as a hedge and they have a large reserve of money in the company. So whatever makes us influenced by them then we must not ignore the risk. The correction is still ongoing, now $46K. Next year can still be expected for ATH, of course.

   Right now the price action is steady even while negative its better this way then rapid changes that cause long term uncertainty and fear of holding, you can exit here any time or not fear too much to just buy and wait.

Even if Bitcoin is unable to cross 70,000$ this year, there is nothing to regret. As things are turning up, I can easily see bitcoins crossing  hundred thousand dollar in early 2022.
I am hopeful for 2022, as I see this will bring the true bull run.

We are just starting this year so there's a lot to grow for bitcoin's price. Last year, btc started in the 30k range in Jan 2021, but this year, we started in the $45k+ level. But if we went full year of bearish trend, then there will be no growth at all, on the contrary the price will continue to down. You can't compare the beginning of last year because it is obvious that we are still just in the beginning of a bullish market that reaches new all time high at $69,000.
