Instead, you should try Vivaldi. They offer a free VPN partnered with Proton VPN directly in the browser. All you need to do is create a ProtonVPN or a Vivaldi account. I trust them more than Firefox.

I wouldn't use a browser VPN for privacy. Mozilla has been making lots of money from search engine deals in firefox. If anything, they are focused on earning more money from this VPN service, they aren't focused on giving you more privacy. If you really want privacy as cheaply as possible, Mullvad and IVPN are the best option. Mullvad only costs 5 Euro per month, which is nothing. Windscribe also offers $29 per year offer sometimes, which also makes it very cheap when we calculate the price per month.
Mullvad also offers you to pay as many satoshis as you want and get the deserved amount of VPN usage time.

It's getting more bloated with each new release, but there are better forks like Librewolf, Zen or Mullvad browser.
Firefox is certainly better than Opera, but all those forks I mentioned have no VPN feature built-in.

You can use KeePass connected with browser, and login details will load automatically.

Yeah, I know that Youtube and all streaming services liike Netflix don't like VPN users. But it's VPN task to replace blacklisted IP's, I'm paying money to get working service. From my experience using other VPN's than Windscribe, I faced blacklisted IP very few times.

By the way, Windscribe has many locations but if you want something from streaming, other VPNs are much better choice for this but they aren't good choice for privacy.

Really? There are many websites and tools that allow you to download videos from YouTube. You can even download videos from their official app on your smartphone but not in mp4 format, it stays in the app like on Netflix.

It's probably because they can't earn money from ads or collect more usage data, if you download it as video file. Based on my experience, such the tool or software (such as yt-dlp) may not work when you use when you use certain VPN provider or server. I don't know how those website avoid block from youtube since their action isn't that different from bot that download tons of videos.

Is there a list of which VPN providers get blocked when using yt-dlp (assuming we have the cookie session from browser and stuf flike that). I've been using it for a few months on several vpns and they seem to work just fine. I usually got blocked whenever I tried to download aggressively (using the sleep flag will help with this, whether we use VPN or not). I thought the issue is about executing the script hence why they always remind me to use deno instead of a VPN issue. Tried on IINA and others to stream videos also works just fine.

It's trivial to create new private mail that is not connected with your identity.
Only silly people would use gmail or main email address for that

I used windscribe with some temp email address, and they only send silly jokes periodically, never ads.
Windscribe account can be created without email address.
