it could be $20 because another factor driving the MATIC price is the increase in active digital wallet users.  The number of Polygon wallets experienced significant growth throughout 2021.The reason is, Polygon wallet users have increased rapidly to reach 282,760.  It seems that the Polygon network can be another alternative form for Ethereum network users.  Because every transaction on the Ethereum network is often subject to high gas fees.

No matter how many wallet users, no matter what marketplace adds it, it will not be 20 bucks for the time being. If we end up seeing bitcoin rise to 200k, then why not? But, when the market is like this, there is absolutely no chance that MATIC could ever reach 20 bucks just because of how many people are using it. Imagine for a second where that would put it in the rankings, that is not really a reasonable expectation is it?

This is why I believe that we should not be holding it to such high regard, it is doing fine as it is right now and should be considered a good deal if we could reach even 3 dollars, which is already more than it deserves at the moment.

If I remember correctly, it was close to $3 before its ATH went past $2.
But perhaps the expectation of Polygon hitting $20 in the time period OP is talking about probably needs a lot of impact and the conspiracy theories that go with it. I honestly feel like Polygon is an investment as well. It's awesome since they got into layer 2. The price went up like crazy and I'm really grateful for that.

Yups , What i mean is these days , Matic cannot even break 2 dollars again from the ATH of 2.92$   so making back to that level is the first intention before believing in that so much High price of 20$, is far from reality unless the former ATH will be broken .
But like what i said on the top, Polygon is one of the best altcoin to watch out if you will only believe in Holding.

indeed at this time the use of polygon wallets is very effective because of the problem where the ethereum network is still expensive, of course everyone will try to find alternatives that can be profitable and incidentally there is a polygon network available at low cost.

Where do you happen to hear an believe that ? if Bitcoin drops to below 30k there will be another 2018? You are wrong  because Bitcoin already drops below 30k couple of months ago so that being said?  I don't think there will be 2018 trend based on that bitcoin price , what i do believe is if the price of Bitcoin fell down below 20k then that is something we must be alarmed .

Yes that's true and I think you need to do some analysis before making a decision,
never make a decision in a hurry and maybe keeping it on hold is a better decision because I still believe Matic is one of the altcoins that has potential,

i hope that will not come true again. We have seen so many dump occured to the market and this is all caused by bitcoin. Im also loosing small amounts of money caused by this bearish trend. It seems like the old trend was coming up again but this is not so big like what we have seen in 2018. This will become another hard day for anyone in the crypto but as long as bitcoin will not go to the 10k and that's fine.

Polygon is one of the chains where have the possibility to get maximum benefit. If you trade in this chain you will get the differentiation. The demand for this coin is increasing day by day. Last year it was priced at 2.88 as ATH. Hopefully next bull run we can see it $7-9 and next few years later we will get it more then $15.

I'm not sure the matic will easily reach $20 in the next few years considering the current market conditions, the price of the matic is currently below $1 and we have been waiting for this moment for a long time because the matic is difficult to drop below $1 without a bear market. Yeah, cashing out MATIC right now just because the whole market is going down isn't going to help. MATIC will never be outdated as long as systems like ETH and bsc keep evolving, and moving up the chain. Eventually, they will have to leave spots for MATIC as their system will be overpopulated, and new projects have to migrate down to keep up with the network's fee and this will be the time for MATIC holders.

This drop doesn't really change anything for Matic if you ask me. Sure it will not reach 20 dollars but it wouldn't even if there wasn't any drops, that price was just too much for it to reach and I believe that it never had any possibility of that at all.

What I believe however is the fact that we should be focusing on the lower level prices that it realistically had any chance, which is something like 5 dollars at the maximum, more realistically 2 dollars would be fine because that would be a reachable target for sure, nobody says it will be hard and it will be easy next time we have a huge hype, should be much bigger so put a realistic goal. Focus on that and you will 2x and even then some.
