Don't forget that when it shows a price reversal, the altcoins also seem to be affected. If for the long term Ethereum and BNB can be an alternative for you. Although I would agree with Ethereum which is more promising. This fulcrum may be short term or long term gains let's see what happens at the end of the year.

I always go for the best option every time I see the market crashing so for me, having good altcoins like ETH and BNB on your wallet can be a good one and can bring good profit to you in the long run. This is a good opportunity to buy at a cheaper price, can’t afford to lose this opportunity so I’m buying again.

Depends on what you prefer because for me, I’m into NFTs right now and I see a big opportunity with them to make more money even on a down trend but if you want to lessen the risk and be more safe, buy BTC and ETH. This is just a correction so buying good coins/altcoins now is a good move, the market will recover again.

You are about to look into a risky market. For lowest risk, i suggest you to invest in bitcoin for long time hodl.
Looking for other opportunities in short term trade, you should look into top 100 coinmarketcap list. And as much as you afford to lose, you can try investing in new projects but believe me, no one can guarantee what will happen to the project for long/short term time. So it's a very risky market. I still wonder why people use cryptocurrencies over broker market for short term earning.

Don't you even think about how long you will wait for the price of bitcoin to be doubled from the current price while altcoins keep growing so hard? If you're looking for altcoins that can give you passive income and you must stick with coins like BNB that being used as major pair in the farm. You can get APR/APY based on the how much people were also doing farm at the same time in the pool.
You can get active passive income by farming it on pancake swap. This will help you to earn passive income. I have been doing farm since last year and got very nice return at this moment.
The APR was good. You can also pick which pair that will give you good APR.

Take a look at CRO coin, man. Crypto com is advancing and their marketing team are doing good - watch how they are promoting their brand. CRO can easily get to 10 USD. Buy some before it's too late

Ethereum devs are having a hard time solving the gas fee crisis affecting the network and this has already been a big burdensome with its many users all over the world paying $100 for a single transaction. Anybody can be making a curse with that situation so let's see if all of their current and future updates can finally put a plug with this heavy leakage. yes, despite with all of these things, Ethereum remains to be a very attractive investment proposition and nothing has yet been able to kick it from market leadership. Now, aside from Ethereum, if one is looking for a new project with a lot of potential, then maybe one can look for the details of Aurora.

I guess you don't have to look for solid coins if you are looking for a long term investments, it's already there, the top 10 coins in coinmarketcap.

Not sure though how long are you going to hold or how much you are willing to invest.

But to give you a perspective, way back 2018 ETH for example was in the 2 digits price, meaning it's less than 100$. Moving forward it's now on the $4k price. So in a span of 3 years it has grown tremendously. So I think that will be the minimum hold, at least 4 years as per my experience.

I'm even still very overwhelmed using the Ethereum network at this point and today I've spent $50 on just two failed Transactions which makes me very disappointed, even though I only wanted to send one type of token to the exchange, but it didn't never succeeded because of the problem of high and unstable costs.

Polkadot has always looked good over the past year and will continue to be a coin that is in great demand by traders and investors because its potential is still there in the current state, so choosing DOT is a very feasible and wise thing for anyone.

As a rule, when the price of Bitcoin drops, the prices of altcoins also follow. However, I recently turned my attention to the Metahero (HERO) project and this week, despite the fact that it was all red on charts, its price was still quite high. In my opinion, this is one of the most potential altcoins for the coming months.

The high fee is still there.

I'm looking at the brighter side of the burning and the devs will make another solution for the high fee. I think that it's the counterpart of continuous burning per transaction.

If no solution, it would be the actual POS transition.

Have you checked out Avalanche (AVAX)! high throughput smart contract projects with already more than 100 projects in the ecosystem, avax was recently listed on coinbase as well, I see how this coin is performing and I am regretting not getting in at early when I come to know about it around $30, but now I can't afford to by much of it,
I think this is a solid project and good investment for long term if you are buoyant enough.

The best coin for long-term investment is bitcoin. The altcoin could be good for short or medium-term investment because the altcoin can get the altcoin season after or before the bitcoin price jumps to the higher price. Usually, the altcoin price will be low if bitcoin movements do not increase and tend to stabilize at a current price range.

But if you still want to invest in altcoin, you better search for yourself to find the coin because if we suggest you invest in ethereum or bnb, you do not feel good to buy the coin because the price is already increased so high. But you can search for the low-price coins that have a good position at CMC and maybe the top 100 coins list can be your choice.

Can't pinpoint some of them but you can check out the daily performance on Binance or Kucoin. There are altcoins that are rocking despited of the current trend. You can start there as your reference then choose if it's worth putting your money.

That's my first pitstop when choosing new altcoins to test and if possible, be part of my portfolio list.

I think you have a lot of potential projects to choose from because nowadays we have dozens of altcoins that are big and established projects and where you can be sure that there are still here in a few years. Maybe you should also check which coins or ecosystems give good APY if you stake their coins. For example you get like 6% interests per annum when you stake polkadot (actually around 12% but you also need to consider that polkadot has an unlimited supply that's why the adjusted rewards is around 6%. You could also buy Atom (cosmos) which would give you close to 10% interest per year. Other coins where you get some interest back that i know of are KuCoin Shares and Radix (XRD).
