[Solved] Pawn account reputation for a few dollar [1xbit participant]

Since I haven't had 7 days active on this forum, message like this always appear above threads created by someone who has been accused of scam. Meanwhile, I have to get used to adapting after my login time reach 7 days and so do other users here.



The message above can be found in the campaign [open] Restart of 1xBit signature campaign - new signatures and more spots! where this campaign is sponsored by a site that has proven to be scamming many previous customers. However, this doesn't seem to deter some users from joining, especially those whose account reputation have been damaged because other scams.

But the different thing I can point out is that the hero members are with a good reputation this time. He started applying for this campaign only after the previous campaign was over and he started pawning his profile just to promote a scam site ^{[not yet using signature & avatar]} for a few $$.

I don't think he never knew about the site's bad reputation, he purposely applied for the campaign though in the end he could quibble that it was a mistake after I created this thread. What do you think about this?

I'm probably not going to get you to merit me just because of this thread, nor am I going to bother telling DT to stay away from that scam site via PM as he'll know what the trust system function of each user profile.

He hasn't yet worn signature advertising the scam, but when he does. I will leave negative feedback on his profile, but some members might probably tag him even for just applying.

I agree, it is really disappointing that one DT member is willing to sell his reputation for a few lousy bucks. He even tagged one account for advertising sales of forum accounts! Talk about double standards ...

Any user applying there is well aware of their scam. They consciously apply there to earn money. Because before applying you have to read the main thread where the campaign manager has a couple of red tags and warnings. Applying there means ignoring all the warnings.

I am not jumping for the immediate tag. Send him a PM regarding this thread who applies there. I don't have an intention to tag a Hero user just for applying there though he deserves it.

Wow, that's certainly strange coming from that particular user... may be worth doing a deep dive to see if there's any pattern change that may lead us to think the account was hacked/sold at some point... That a big loss for the italian community if that's the case...

1- I was not aware of the scam (I have already edited the post ready to delete it)
2- It is not an alternative profile (do I have to send my identity card?)
3- Is it not possible to make mistakes?
I do not intend to harm other users by selecting a scam site (the forum and the users are part of my knowledge, in the cryptocurrency field)

I don't really have to. I just pinged a few italians to confirm if everything was OK. It was very strange to see that an actual valuable member would step right into the 1xbit campaign, so I just wanted them to check if everything was OK, as I believe it's easier to confirm this with the locals that share the language. Of course we can all make mistakes, and for what I see, that's pretty much what has happened here (mistake/unawareness) so now that everything is confirmed, this thread doesn't really serve a porpuse.

giammangiato, you came as expected to settle thing well after a few PM logged into your account. I have guess it.

What I can explain to you at this point is that this thread is not an attempt to gain merit, nor is it my attempt to cause a ruckus without completion. If you are thorough enough before apply at the campaign then I shouldn't bother creating this thread and telling everyone about your interest in promoting proven scam site. As someone who is trusted and experienced in this forum, you should be able to spend some time reviewing the manager's profile and account reputation before you apply your application. It's natural for me to ask about your behavior back then just because all the other users who applied and promoted the site had been red tag but you came like someone who didn't care about anything there.

I'm not talking about alt account and I'm not thinking about hacked account, but your behavior at the time is questionable because you are like someone who want to sell your account reputation for a scam site. So basically ^{[if the fire isn't burning anything around it then there's no reason to put it out]} and neither is your case now. I think everyone is still very likely to make mistake, especially when they do it by accident. This forum is a shared property with approved community standard, so when someone makes a mistake on purpose there is a bounty they will receive in return.

giammangiato, after you clarify your problem then I think the problem is solved. But I'm so sorry babo seem to have started scolding me just for wanting to defend you and he tagged my profile. I don't think this thread has bothered him so much that it sparked his anger because I didn't attack you or him in this case. You should be grateful only because my initiative has made you aware not to fall into promoting scam site ^[1xbit], but since the trust system is not moderated then I think it's just his prerogative to send it to anyone and whenever and whatever the case may be.

giammangiato, next time be careful and take a little time to check everything right even when the campaign pays a lot to its participant.

babo, thank you for understanding what I have explained above and this should not provoke your anger, also sorry if I have led other people's opinion to develop the case to be unsettled. Now the problem is solved and I have also seen you remove the neutral tag on my profile.
