I also don't use ColdCard, but:
1. Did you get a MicroUSB cable from ColdCard or you just use "any" from home? The background is that some such cables are only for charging, and some are also for data transfer; you clearly need one for
data transfer (and probably ColdCard have provided that).
2. Windows gets sometimes errors with USB. Stop the computer, unplug that USB, start computer, plug the USB into
another USB plug, give it a few seconds to update drivers, and see then if it's better. (It can probably done without restart, but I wanted to be on the super safe side)
