I don’t know why everyone writes about Solana, about Polygon - it’s not competitive at all and cannot be a competitor. The obvious is the fact that BSC has replaced Ethereum. It seemed to me obvious and there could no longer be any disputes, but no .. it turns out that this is not obvious to everyone.
It is worth pointing out that I am not a fan of BSC.

You couldnt actually tell that BSC had already overtaken Eth and you should say that when its already done or can be seen on overall marketcap but somehow it cant really

be denied that BSC is really significant when it comes to real use case but its too early to say that it could be overtaken at least for now.

Asking on what coins would be a potential to take the path on what ETH had reached out.

The potential of what?

There are too many altcoins to choose like ethereum but I only choose those closely decentralized ones not the heavy centralized ones like BNB.
Potential to hold in a long term, I would prefer to use ADA and SOLANA and for the short term, BNB and others have a great potential on making a profit in just a short term, just enjoy the ride of the hype.

I think Ethereum 2.0 will technically overtake other projects by at least a year or two.

I'm waiting for this, when it will be released? I hope this will solve the high fees which is Ethereum now is not good.

^^ Technically, Eth2.0 has been released Since Dec, 2019 but due to how they roll it out, it is on a Phase, i.e Phase 0, Phase 1 etc.

I think we already know which coin has been Eth competitor is the last year or so. BSC is one who floats around and it seems that it is doing good in the market as well, and then we have SOL who is recent and again, ADA. But I don't see anyone toppling Eth for good as the best altcoin, it is a prime mover in this crypto so it's hard to imagine seeing them losing the consensus in the market.

I see a very good long term potential for BNB maybe the BNB price will continue to soar like the current Ethereum price in the next few years or in the next ATH and for other coins I am optimistic about the CRO coin as the CRO token project continues to do considerable development good and the trading volume on their platform is also quite good for now maybe in the future the token will have a very good price.

the networks you mentioned are already good candidates to compete with eth, especially in terms of fees. but the foundation of eth is quite rock solid the reason why it can't be surpassed yet by these new networks. but we are already seeing a lot of users switching esp in bsc because of cheaper fees.
but once eth network declines its gas fees, i believe a lot will go back but it is still good because we can see different options now as a user or trader. we should not really be confined in one network only. competition is also good for these networks as they offer better services to compete with each other

my advice, try to join the buying and selling of BNB, SOL, ADA. and matic has the same potential as ethereum, this is the right choice for you to invest long term

The Binance Smart Chain and it's native coin, BNB, have replaced Ethereum because its very similiar except for the fact that the transaction fees are much much much lower. But that being said, BNB is not actually fully decentralised. It has 21 validators and is considered semi-decentralised. I would keep an eye on SOL, as it is growing fast with a lot of promise. ADA has been around for a while and still has not really been able to overthrow ETH as the "new ETH".

The use case if ETH is amazing , that's why despite the gas fee, big projects still use ETH network in developing their project.
BNB is a very serious competition to ETH, because of the reasonably low gas fee. So, BNB has potential like ETH.

In my opinion there is one coin have potential like ethereum and that is BNB.
Bnb is one of the best token in the market as ethereum this is best alternative to ETH because of its low gas fee in every transaction and it is the most use token to buy NFT in the market even in the NFT games.

I'd say Solana has the potential of having an outcome that is the same with Ethereum, I think Solana and it's NFT projects are promising, + the features that SOL provides, I am currently invested with BTC and SOL.

Perhaps solana since this one is built as a ethereum killer and we saw how it skyrocketed and reach the very high level in just a short period of time. so probably it has a chance to take over those top crypto in the future., wherein unlike those token that build to compete ethereum but until now they're too far and now showing a potential. BNB - Binance coin is a good choice.
With its volatile movement an entry point is easy to spot. You just have to do it at the right time. Ethereum is not a good choice anymore unless you have the high capital to buy it in bulks to make profits that is satisfactory for your pockets.
Next to it are NFT's but with high risk and you will have to be as early investor as possible and sell it short-term whenever you see profits.
There won't be a project like Ethereum anymore that is brand new, it won't be great battling with a monster that is near success at it's new consensus.

Have you worked with the Ethereum network for the last half year - a year? Have you seen the cost of the commission? Can you name projects on the ERC20 that are successful and were built in the last half of the year?
I can confidently say that the BSC network has already surpassed the Ethereum network. For one simple reason - it is much more profitable and faster.

Actually you can visit coinmarketcap and see the list there, if you want to choose a coin with a market cap like ethereum, you can choose BNB, Solana, and Matic. DYOR
The new coins that I currently hold are FSN and HOO, but you can do your research before investing because there is no guarantee the platform above will last like ethereum, ethereum has gone through a long journey to date

Your question is a little bit unclear. Do you mean potential just in terms of the prices that Ethereum has reached or do you mean in regards to the functions and uses cases that Ethereum is offering? Nowadays there are quite a few other coins or crypto projects out there that are offering an ecosystem with the possibility of smart contracts just like Ethereum does. Examples for that are the Binance with it's smart chain and Solana, but both of those tokens already made x500 or more of their initial price, so i don't know if you still want to invest into those now. Cardano also wants so launch smart contracts soon but it kinda seems they can not get it done.
Another project that wants to create an ecosystem is Radix (XRD). It will still take a year or two until the full functionality is reached but if you invest now then you are still pretty early.

I buy and sell ethereum in 2017 for little very shorts profits, I don't know that eth will be at this price right now. Question is coin that can something like ethereum so everyone is know or talking about polkadot which is running almost all Blockhains and dot is under 50.
