That is why they do it, they want the free publicity that this brings them as they know that name is already recognized by the public, for example when bitcoin cash was created many other forks of bitcoin appeared but there were even coins with bitcoin on their name that were ethereum tokens, something which is ridiculous but it happened, and who could forget Trumpcoin and many other coins that took advantage of the popularity of another product, service or person to gain popularity.

So to me that is a huge red flag that should tell to everyone that something like this has a very high chance of being a scam.

The project that rides on the back of any successful project/film/show or anything popular does really know the trick.

But too good that many investors are aware of the scam and rug pull named by almost the same project so, that's an easy and quick spot on for them.

Coins that hope to pump again with the hype from a squid games movie, I don't think things like this will happen anymore now because many people are already frustrated with the squid tokens that previously existed.

Because it's a hype coin without real use.
I don't understand most investors now, they are preferred to gamble their money than invest in a safe one with real use to anyone.
For sure after months or a week, that coin will become a shitcoin when big whales leave that project's hype.

It's more like that coin now belongs to the pump and dump group and that status was on the pump.  It's risky but if you want to gamble your money, it's up to you, it could be a trap to new investors either.

I saw the same advertising for this game in other places... I didn't want to try, why bother with that!? That Squid token is falling down like crazy, and I know all that cause I got 5 of them on the BC gambling site, and the initial value was $2.5, not 5 Squid tokens worth less than half of a dollar! Squid is going down, and I think that some games can't save Squid from that...
